If its the datacron i'm thinking of I always have to turn sprint off for that jump and then back on afterwards for the rest.

Download the installer from swtor.com and that will put the base files on then paste your original into the bioware folder run repair if it tries to update however mine never has and has worked twice for me

Not sure how many light side you can get normal questing but if you really wanted light 1 the heroics are dailies I think one of them gives light side points and you could do them each day til you got there

Yes if you cancel your account when you reactivate it all your characters wil still be there

There is a drop down on the top right corner that lets you choose what grade material you want to go for on the crew skill page

The social gear is adaptive so it will become what ever type of armor your toon wears. With that said I can't think of any robe type social gear however. Most is militia type, sand people, formal wear, and the slave girl outfit.
