  1. We killed them on hard mode just last night, and didn't encounter the problem. The trandoshans and the shields were spawning right when the bosses begin casting Defensive Systems. You know how Stormcaller casts Double Destruction twice? Stormcaller would skip the second time casting it and automatically begin casting Defensive Systems if one of the bosses reached the percentage of the shield phase. It's possible you guys hit the percentage right as Stormcaller began casting Double Destruction, in which case the cast would have to finish.... if that's the case, maybe you guys were just really unlucky.
  2. I'm not entirely sure as to the specifics of who gets the Fearful Debuff, other than it's the group attacking Zorn when Toth jumps to him... but the strat my guild uses makes it so that you don't have to worry about it, just so long as the group attacking Zorn, and potentially gets the debuff, is watching out and is on the ball. If group 1 is attacking Zorn on the left side, and group 2 is attacking Toth on the right side, once the jump happens the two tanks pull each boss to the opposite side-- so that group 1 is attacking Toth on the left side, and group 2 is attacking Zorn on the right side. Nobody is moving, they are only attacking whichever boss is on their side. You just have to make sure you stop attacking Zorn once you get the debuff, then once Toth is pulled by the tank to your side, you can start attacking Toth. EDIT: Maybe you're already using this strategy and you're asking just to know exactly how it works. If that's the case, sorry for sidestepping the question.
  3. This is more of a neutral observation rather than a rage post. I noticed that quite a lot of people on the forums here tend to complain about class imbalance due to comparing and contrasting with their personal experiences. They talk about how broken a certain class is, how easy another one is, etc. etc. They huff and puff, start flaming about how Bioware is too oblivious or lazy to fix the issue, and just sound like total ******s. I also noticed that many instances the class they played wasn't one they leveled all the way to 50. In my opinion, a person who complains about class imbalance and doesn't have personal experience with end game content doesn't have adequate knowledge of their class to have an opinion worthy enough to be looked at by Bioware. In any instance of class imbalance, it should only be considered for classes at level 50. I have a 50 Gunslinger and a 50 Guardian. I spent less than 2 months leveling both characters, and I'll be spending years playing them through end game content. Therefore, any problem I find when I level is much less important than one I'd find at level 50. I'd imagine Bioware has a similar mentality. Now, this is a generalized opinion, and there are always exceptions to the rule. This is a new game, and every new game has its flaws. But I think someone should gain a little perspective before they start harassing anything that types on the forums. I suppose the point of this post is to see if anyone else shares my opinion.
  4. I personally love Dirty Fighting, and I'm rarely in cover in PvP. The only time I find cover useful in PvE is for aimed shot as an opener, then a sabotage charge and maybe a charged burst with the guaranteed crit ability. People find DF harder for pve because mobs die too quickly to get any use out of the dots, but I just save those for strong and elite mobs, then use my other abilities i.e. stun and headshot, or sabotage and speed shot. Main reason I love Dirty Fighting is for the PvP. Once you get those two dots up and start casting the level 40 dirty fighting ability, it's game over for whoever you're targeting.
