  1. We had the same bug. In addition, there was a delay after the double destruction for the lightning rod to drop. Something changed with that mechanic because it now spawns on top of the group (and there is a delay), so either the tank or the group stands a good chance of getting hit by hit. One strat would be to have the tank stay on the ground, away from the boss, and wait for the rod to drop, but he could easily lose aggro, and it makes swapping bosses harder.
  2. Post 1.2.2, it seems that armor penetration either received a boost (or a nerf, depending on how you look at it). As an Assassin tank, I have solo tanked KP on Nightmare Mode 3 times, without any issues. But on Frabricator, I was getting one shotted after 4 stacks of AP from the boss. We decided to go to a two tank setup, and both the tanks took turns dying. We started switching after 4 stacks, and then finally just switched once the AP debuff was off, but we still wiped. Every time I have an AP on me, I take a lot more damage then before. I have 25,109 HP, and should not be taking huge hits with just a couple stacks of AP reduction on (I get that I take more damage but something definitely changed). On a side note, Bonethrasher also one shotted me for 28.8K damage on a swipe when I was standing behind him. Not even sure how that would be possible. Anyone else notice any changes similar to this? Prior to the patch the exact same fights had completely different (positive) results.
  3. I disagree. I am a hardcore player, and I am mildly interested in it
  4. When will macros become available in the game? The most basic one would be: \assist target Regards, Darkhawk
  5. I rolled a tank, and do OK as a tank. But there are aggro issues. The two taunts work fine, but it is very easy to lose aggro because you simply cannot stay at the top in terms of DPS. So while you are hammering the boss, you should do OK. But do something else (like move for position, or hit shields, or move while tanking), you can lose aggro and have to re-taunt. Without a target of target display, you have to watch the boss. If it turns to another player, re-taunt. I originally thought (incorrectly), that taunt would build aggro, it does not. It just puts you to the top (and then some plus whatever). Overall though, mitigation is awesome on an Assassin tank. I just tanked my first hardmode (False Emperor) and was fine, no issues at all. I have just learned to pay very strict attention to the boss, watch for lost aggro, make sure to re-taunt, and keep my dps up. And yes, my dps blows. In pvp, its almost always dead last. But the good news is I am pretty damn hard to kill.
