  1. I regret to inform the community that Hamster1793 have passed away few hours ago due to severe cardiac arrest. Introduction of galatic stronghold along with thousands of bugs that have plagued since beta have finally taken its toll to poor Hamster1793. EA's trying to get in contact with the next of kin, and will report further in this matter when the new information presents itself. Hamster1793, you will be sorely missed... P.S candle light vigil for Hamster1793 will be held in Bastion since they are trying to import russian hamster to stabilise Harbringer server at this time.

  3. To put it bluntly, EA don't have the manpower and do not want to waste excessive amount of time and money for content that will be cleared in < 10 hours. EA only cares about luring gullible customers to keep purchasing gambling packs, hence one of the reason why EA keep hashing out re-skinned pack as "new".
  4. Like I mentioned in my previous posts, only class that has major issues are Vanguard/Pyrotech, rest of the class are fine as it is. The problem is not that Vanguard/Pyrotech is squishy, but it cannot sustain dps as OTHER TANK CLASSES (Guardian/Shadow). Vanguard/Pyrotech dps is non-existant therefore it's not viable eiter in PvP or PvE. Before you claim that Vanguard DPS is viable in PvE, show me where more than 1 vanguard dps is in Nightmare OPS. Having a vanguard DPS in your OPS is a liability and burden to your teammates. In PvP, vanguard/pyrotech's only viable option is to tank and NO RANKED TEAM will take DPS vanguard unless they like losing. Please refrain from making comments on class that you have absolutely no idea on... Vanguard/Pyrotech was never OP, it was balanced till dev. made a wrong decision to exclude DPS aspect for that specific class. Question from Vanguard/Pyrotech community is that "Why Vanguard/Pyrotech is unable to DPS like other tanking class even when they are specced to DPS and with a DPS gear?"
  5. Scamper do not break stuns, you can still use scamper while being rooted but you will still have slow effect till it wears off. In addition scamper cost 1/4 of total energy so you maybe able to escape from encounter, but you will have no energy afterwards. All skills will trigger GCD, not just healing skills. You only heal when you are clearly out of danger or let your healing team mate take care of it. I still do not see a problem in 1v1 encounter with any class. While I agree that scoundrel healer are superior in healing than sage, but I disagree on dps aspect. Sages dps while hling specced is much potent than scoundrel hlrs. Sage have more variety of dmg skills while scoundrel dps are limited in healing specced. Those self-heals are non-existant like vanguard dps, you won't be able to notice it without a microscope.
  6. Sage have bubble (absorbs 6k+ dmg), wave (roots target for 2sec), stun, barrier, speed, slow...these tools are available for sage/sorc to increase their survibility. In 1v1 situation you won't have trouble escaping or eliminating your opponent. The problem is that Sage community want to survive in 1v3 situation and claim that they need a buff. Rotate between bubble and your instant hl,that will still crit for 8k+ even with dps spec. Scoundrel don't get instant heal if you are not hlr specced so they only have 2 types of healing skills. You have to sacrifice some of healing if you want to dps, you can't have both ways. Imagine having a character that have dps prowess like a gunslinger/sniper with all the healing abilities. Every single people will play that character.

In all seriousness, there isn't any major issue for healing dps class, it's all about positioning, los, using your cd (force barrier/wave/stun/cc) at the right time to increase your survibility in PvP situation. It is more difficult when you are getting chased my 3 marauders, but it's same for all the other class, when you have multiple opponents, you are going to struggle, even if you are the best PvPers. You might be able to take on 3 at the same time if all those 3ppl who are attacking you are noobs. My sage dps is on par with gunlsinger so I have no idea why you will be hitting enrage timer unless you have a vanguard dps with you. Operative/Scoundrel have the highest survibility out of all the healing class. My 36k hp scoundrel/Operative never dies in WZ unless I'm targeted by at least 4ppl. Scoundrel have the best burst hl and when your instant hl crits for 6.5k+, shield probe, dodge and scamper. Your HP will rarely go down.
  8. I have yet to see a "great" DPS vanguard in PvP situation, when I see a vanguard dps, i automatically associate with free kill. No ranked WZ team will have Vanguard as a DPS unless you like playing 8v7. I have yet to see a guild take Vanguard dps in NIM ops. Why would I take less than mediocre dps to a ops when I can take gunslinger/sentinel that can quadripple vanguard's dps. You are seriously in denial if you believe that Vanguard is viable as a dps in PvP or in PvE. It's funny but sad at the same time. ]
  9. Only viable option for Vanguard in pvp is tanking otherwise you are a burden for your team, vanguard dps is non-existant, but according to devs. it's working as intended
  10. The problem with Vanguard/Pyrotech is that vanguard dps is non-existant while other tank classes (Guardian/Jugg/Shadow/Assassin) have viable dps. Vanguard have no burst dmg like most , less than mediocre dmg, half the abilities are meelee and dmg output is non-existant compare to other class. Generic response from Dev. tells me one thing, they have never played as a vanguard dps and are content as spewing garbage like "working as intended" to their customers.
  11. Only class that is currently broken is Vanguard/Pyro as a dps. While other tank specced class such as Guardian/Jugg, Shadow/Assassin can contribute as dps in ops and pvp aspect while vanguard/pyro dps is non-existant. Dev. failing to acknowledge this issue clearly tells me that they haven't played as a dps vanguard. It doesn't really bother me since I only use Vanguard as a tank, but It's still hilarious to see "working as intended" response from dev.

  13. Get full partisan gear and you will be able to run 55 HM FP with ease.
  14. It still astounds me that people spend real money to buy cartel pack that consists of 99.99% junks. EA keep hashing out re-skinned mount/armour and lemmings can't wait to throw their money down the drain. If you are that desperate for a quick fix, play KENO, you have the same probability of winning a super rare in a cartel pack.
  15. Lag is inevitable when EA closed off APAC and forcing APAC refugees to Harbeinger/Bastion without upgrading their server. It's working as intended... -EA-
