  2. login to your account from swtor.com and select add the key, then use the link to download the app to your phone. after you download the app, jump onto your computer and login, go through the process, skipping the download part and selecting to link the app to your account, type in the numbers into your phone app and you should be good to go.
  3. Great guide, i plan to distribute it to many of the players i have/will group with. Its nice to be able to have an all inclusive guide to share. Also, i recently group for a flashpoint with a scavanger. The droid kills are able to be scavanged and disappear quickly, and are not able to be harvested while in combat. So its good ettiquete to wait for the next pull if someone is going to be harvesting. If you are going to be doing this, explain this to your group prior to starting the instance. Our situation was particularly bad considering the guy harvesting was also the healer..
  4. in the 30gb range i believe, will try and get a better number later, still at work
  5. um, go back a do some dailies and flashpoints etc.
  6. All characters use one primary ability score of Aim, Cunning, Strength or Willpower. All four of these abilities has a specialized purpose. Aim will only increase your ranged damage and critical chance, Cunning will only increase your tech damage and critical chance, Strength will only increase your melee damage and critical chance, and Willpower will only increase your Force damage and critical chance. Normally, anyway. Each base class has a different primary ability score. A primary ability score equally improves both of the damage vectors which your class will use. Through the Force, all things are possible; Willpower is the primary score for Consulars and Inquisitors, and grants both Melee Damage and Force Damage, as a result. Presence measures your ability to inspire, lead, and guide your companions. A higher presence score will increase your companion's health, damage and healing. Companions take up the party slot of a player, but are less effective than a player; if you intend to do a lot of content which requires full or nearly full groups, it's not wise to invest much into presence. Endurance, simply enough, improves one's raw health. Secondary stats are available, which add more complexity to the matter. Absorption Rating: Increases the amount of damage blocked by a successful shield reaction. More rating is required to achieve the same percentage bonus at higher character levels. Accuracy Rating: Grants additional hit, and then reduces the opponent's defense once past 100%. More rating is required to achieve the same percentage bonus at higher character levels. Alacrity Rating: A secondary stat which improves the speed of activation time for non-instant abilities. It does not affect the Global Cooldown for instant abilities. More rating is required to achieve the same percentage bonus at higher character levels. It may also increase the rate at which periodic abilities take effect. Critical Rating: Improves the chance of a critical hit. More rating is required to achieve the same percentage bonus at higher character levels. Defense Rating: Improves the chance of a avoiding an attack. More rating is required to achieve the same percentage bonus at higher character levels. Expertise Rating: Increases damage and healing done, and reduces damage taken, but only in PvP. A maximum of 10% effectiveness. More rating is required to achieve the same percentage bonus at higher character levels. Force Power: A secondary stat which improves Force Ability damage and healing only. Power: A secondary stat which improves damage and healing from all sources. Shield Rating: Increases the chance that a shield reaction is triggered against an attack. More rating is required to achieve the same percentage bonus at higher character levels. Surge Rating: Improves the effect of a critical hit. Base Surge is +50%. More rating is required to achieve the same percentage bonus at higher character levels. Tech Power: A secondary stat which improves Tech Ability damage and healing only. -that all was from this http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=778

  8. theres is also a "bug" (not really a bug, but bad coding) that causes the game to also link the item in your chat window. FYI
  9. switch to windowed mode if you accidently find yourself alt-tabing out of the game btw.
  10. There is a trainer right inside the ruins at the start of the game for both classes (where the kor'slug are). Sometimes if your outside the ruins in front of naga sadows tomb, it looks like he should be standing there, but hes actually inside the first ruins. Otherwise, the others are upstairs in the sith acadamy, warrior on the left, inquis on the right.
  11. your usual 800kb is not a very good connection to begin with. Does anyone know if Bioware is using P2P for the patch download, cause if they are, you might have to make sure your router is set up for port forwarding.
  12. im thinking they are supposed to be rare, if you could get them easily it wouldnt be worth anything
  13. /bump Agreed, this needs to be an option
  14. thats odd that one side works and the other doesnt. I wonder which side is "working as intended". At least we know its possible to change it quickly ( i would imagine)
