  1. I don't know that they will ever do this. But if they do? Just a variety of simple blindfolds would be great. Or better yet! Maybe just a pack of items that are simple blind fold armor equipable as a helmet to open them up to anyone who wants to use them? Miraluka may be the blind human race .... but there are a few examples of characters in star wars losing their vision.
  2. Jade Company is still going strong and is always recruiting!
  3. “There are forces at play in the galaxy bigger than the Republic, bigger than the Hutts, bigger than the Empire. They operate behind even the shadows of the darkest corners, an enemy to us all. Someone must stand against them. Your mission, should you choose to accept it…” – Assistant Director Kelven Graves, Republic SIS. There are some situations that are too sensitive, or too important to trust to the decision making of politicians. Some missions which are too absurd for even the SIS to handle. Some operations that just can’t be solved with a crack strike team of troopers in shining white armor. This where is Jade Company enters the picture. We are a special task group that operates outside the control of the senate or military, but always for the good of the Republic. Made up of troopers, freelancers, Jedi and specialists of all kinds, Jade Company is home to those who understand that sometimes you have to operate within the shadows, to drive them back. We undertake those missions that others may deem… impossible. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OOC Info Website: http://www.jadecompany.org Timezone: We range across multiple US time zones, with some members in Europe. 4. Only 3? ... I can come up with quite a few things I think they should add RIGHT NOW! Content!* Chat bubbles!* Player re-imageing! Fix the miralukan hats!* "Off the rails" space combat. Able to sit in all chairs in game! Fix the problems with hair clipping! Same Gender Romance and Flirt options!* The ability to use your alt characters AS COMPANIONS! The ability to use your alts companions on other alts Once both are 50! Giving a bonus to XP that allows us to skip side quests while leveling if we've leveled more than one toon for a faction! *To be fair, these are issues that devs have said at various times will "eventualy" Make it into the game, some sooner than others. ...Narrowing the above down to just 3 That's extreamly tough, as I feel ALL of the above need to be added in RIGHT NOW, and I feel very strongly about all of them. If, however I must chose only 3, I will go with . . . 1. Character re-imaging. (This should have been in at launch! There's ZERO excuse for a game in 2012 to not launch with this, and for it to be pushing 2013 and still no word! As a side note, the system could also use an overhaul on how it works or at least more options!) 2. Same Gender Romance. (This was, if memory serves during beta was said to be in line to be put in the game near a year after launch. We have not heard a word on this since. Even if your company (your company that is known for this) just admited that you're not going to do it, anything would be better than dead silence on the issue!) 3.Voiced emotes. (This WAS IN BETA during the first round of mass beta testing, but was mysteriously removed. I remember being impressed with the fact that when my character cried or laughed and such, that they made a sound. The next round of testing, it was removed. It's a stupid easy fix that would please a lot of RPers!) ... Some advice? You see this thread? I just read through all of it. Nearly every suggestion is extreamly good, and has been asked for since BEFORE LAUNCH! So . . . 4. START LISTENING TO US!
  5. This suggestion is probably going to cover a few possibilities, so I will try not to ramble. However, it's been something that has frustrated me with the game from beta, and I'm more than dissapointed that the issues havn't been fixed. And with the way miraluka head gear works now, it's actualy become worse. When I first created my Miraluka, head gear rendered on my character. When I got high enough to get a hat for her, I realized her hair clipped (BADLY) with the hat. So, I re-created the same character and re-made her without hair to avoid the hair clipping issue. Because I was carefull to choose a mask that didn't clip badly with the hats, they looked just fine on my character. Now, however, Bio-ware has decided to make it so that no hats render on Miraluka at all. Why is this? If some of the gear looks good on what you are using (Good being a relative term, as many of the hats in game for Consular aren't all that great) . . . but that's another topic) we should be allowed to have it render. There is already an option in game that allows for us to hide head gear. I see absolutely no reason for issues with some of the eye masks clipping badly with hats to be 'fixed' by making an across the board standard for the species so that we can't have them appear. Is there any possibility of it being switched back to allow for head gear to render on miraluka and letting us make the call to hide it? Then, there is the hair clipping issue, which is common for all characters. Hair clips badly with hats. However, when our characters put on a cloak, they are bald (just look through the cloak to see! Though, this is especialy noticable when your character moves a certain way empire side while using some of the cloaks, as your bald head clips through the cloak when doing things such as turning on a speeder!) Why not make it so that when hats are put on a character, they become 'bald' to end the problems with hair badly clipping with hats? My final suggestion to fix these issues, is to allow for us to chagne our character's hair. Since I am now stuck with a bald character, I REALLY want hair. But I can't do that either. This feature is something (like several others, lfg, chat bubbles, etc etc you know the list) That should be in a game at launch. Because this is my main character, I'm very frustrated by this. Any of the above suggestions would satisfy me (either allow miraluka to use hats again, allow us to change hair, and . . . while you're at these fixes, fix the clipping issues with hats and hair).
  6. In previous question and answer rounds, it has been mentioned that the development team will be adding chat bubbles. As I concider that part of the communication systems set up in game, can we get a hint as to when/if it is coming?
  7. I agree with the majority of people here. This is something that really needs to not make it to live. It's going to anger a lot of consulars I know, as this animation is a favorite for a lot of us.
  8. I am another person who feels that chat bubbles should be added to game sooner rather than later, and yes, I am an RPer. I have to respectfully disagree that it is an issue that should be put off because there are more important things in the game that need to be fixed or added. There are a few very good reasons why by this point it should not be concidered unreasonable for Rpers to start demanding chat bubbles. 1. We have lost A LOT of rpers (paying customers) because they are not in the game. It is difficult to RP at times, especialy in large crowded areas like the fleet or during an event being held by players because of chat scroll. They also allow us to notice someone is talking to us when our attention may be somewhere other than at the chat box. 2. Chat bubbles fall under the catigory of basic feature that should be in the game. This is 2012. There are several basic features these days that Bio-Ware made the mistake of launching the game without. LFG system (Getting in 1.3. YAY!). UI modification (Added, and it is one of the best in the business!). Apperance tab (the armor customization options added since have been a great compromise, but . . . there are still several items that can't be moddified and are thus un-usable past their respective levels). Character re-imaging process, barbershop or whatever you want to call it is another feature that should be in the game and should have been since launch. Cross faction chat (Yes, Bio-ware had some good reasons to not put it in). And then there's Chat Bubbles. It's just a standard feature that should have been there from the beginning no questions asked. It falls under the list of 'strange things bio-ware left out for a game launch'. And it's also probably one of the easier things on that list to impliment, though I could be wrong. 3. There will always be 'something more important that needs to be added or fixed' Rpers have seen it before. They want an update or addition to the game. THey ask the devs for it. they patently wait. They ask again. they wait. They wait YEARS some times for updates they feel are needed. Why? Because the PVE and PVP community (which, to be fair, RPers also do) constantly have something they want that they feel is more important to the game. So . . . we are asking again. Maybe bio-ware will listen. Or maybe they will loose customers over this one, as this IS a feature RPers feel is very basic. WIch brings us to my last point. 4. It makes good business sence. RPers want them. It is as simple as that. So . . . why should bio-ware care about what a minority population of the game wants? Simple. RPers tend to update there subs and play MMOs longer than other groups. Also . . . we are probably 10-15% of the population of the game (some industry analists say as high as 20%). We don't necessarily need many new features or content to entertain ourselves. But one thing we do want, one thing we concider a basic tool, is chat bubbles. 10-15% of your customers is a small number. But, in terms of business, 10-15% is a lot of your customer base to anger and frustrate. Also, the RP community (...the group of players who will stay with a game for a long time simply out of love of rping their characters) has shrunk, and a big part of it is due to chat bubbles not being in game. Putting them back in may get some of these loyal, long playing, long PAYING custerms to return quickly at a time when bio-ware needs subscription numbers.
  9. I would love all of these, especialy the chat bubbles and being able to sit in at least some chairs in cantinas. It's really strange that there are chairs at all if we can't use them. It'd also be nice to lay down, and it's strange that we can't, as there are NPCs laying down on beds in some medical centers. The rest would just be freaking nice. Like others have said, I would be thrilled if they gave us one or two things per update rather than waiting 3 or 4 years to get these issues fixed, wich is what often happened in the other MMO I was in, wich will remain naimless. Can't speak ill of the dead and all that! Anyway . . . sighned! I hope bio-ware atleast acknowledges us . . .
  10. This is something I think nearly every RPer out there wants. I really do enjoy this game, but I am amazed this has not yet been implimented. Well, this, and the ability to sit down in a chair outside of a handfull on ships.
  11. Hope this is the right place to post this question. I am planning on creating a Jedi Consular. However, I want her to have some kind of pony tail hair style. During Beta, I noticed that these styles tend to clip quite badly with hats (but strangely not hooded cloaks). Does anyone know if this has been fixed or not? I'd like to find out before I get into early access, and this would greatly influince what style of hair I go with. Thanks!
