I'm a returning player and trying to RESUBSCRIBE for myself and my wife's account. I've had so much trouble with trying to give Bioward/EA my money via the web side one time passwords take for ever to arrive, sometimes never the "maintenance" issue mentioned in another thread on multiple days. credit card payment failing at the last moment with mysterious error. Finally worked a few days later (for me) On the plus side, the actual game servers has been up when ever I've wanted to logon. At this point I am dreading having to logon to the website for anything given how regularly terrible the experience is. I'm pretty sure my complaining here is not going to result in the issue getting fixed but it makes me feel better. kthxbai

Well, if you played at the highest level then you should know to join a guild that uses voice, get in voice, group up and queue together. obviously you should learn the rules.

truth. the better alternative is to group up yourself (and get in voice chat). It is simply more fun. In some alternate universe where SWTOR is more popular, BW has implemented a lot of slicing and dicing of PvP queues (e.g. a unranked WZ with only solo queued players) but that ain't happening in our universe.

I think a PT/VG tank named "tar-baby" would be a good followup. (carbonize FTW)

Why is line of sight NOT a problem for MM in team ranked?

I've seen the scoreboard report a "biggest hit" for me that is bigger than the biggest hit seen in my combat log. I agree it is most likely is a scoreboard bug.

How much dueling did you do leading up to and during your excursion in to ranked? My observation is that people who duel a lot do much better in ranked than those who do not. If you have not mastered the basics of 1v1 you are at a serious disadvantage to those who have.

The obvious solution is that rock shouldn't attack paper. Let scissor attack paper. No scissor on your team? CC the hell out of paper and kill paper last. If you are in voice chat have a ranged pop the bubble target reapplies bubble (and now has bubble application debuff what is the lockout? 20s? ) ranged pops bubble again melee switches (leaps) to target.

Shorter. People complain. There is no cmobat balancing change that will fix human nature.

I think what happened is some players whined that operative needed a buff so a few good ranked players took up the gauntlet and started playing DPS operative in ranked. Once they demonstrated that "DPS operative is not viable" complaints were a L2P issue, many folks read the secret operative guide (exfiltrate. the end) and L2P-ed. You have to admit it is great fun to play a team of stunlocking operatives™. In one WZ I had a group of 3-4 operative focus me every time they saw me. I could have gotten mad but I just laughed it off. After all it was only regs and I was queuing solo. Later I got that same team of operatives on my side. They were pretty funny in chat with their Gollum like conversations about finding and killing sorcs.

simple strat for beating a good operative: don't hit them during exfiltrate buff don't dot them while exfiltrate is on CD or near CD ??? profit!!! (or die)

<grunch> how about separate rewards for grouped ranked? It takes more work to make group ranked happen so most people do solo ranked because that is the easiest path to the same rewards. As always, mounts, armor, weapons, emotes and titles are all good rewards as they allow the best players a chance to flaunt the results of their hard work.
