Yup all East coast servers are down but the west coast ones seem to be working fine. Just sucks the servers go down on most guilds raid night and time. GJ Servers! w00ties!

Well (Idunno if you are) if your not a subscriber it will move you lower down the que to make room for people who play to play. If that's not the problem your having, They have taken the servers offline to fix the issue

Hello all. I'm not sure why but i just installed Swtor onto my new computer. When I launch the game it opens in a window, not full screen and do not do anything. It just locks up there. Anyone have any ideas on why this is happening? before anyone asks my graphics drivers are up to date.

Sorry if this has been addressed already but I would love them to add some new items to the VIP lounge, the security key vendor and the collectors edition vendor. Would also be nice to see some new stuff for those of us who paid extra for the "digital upgrade" that came out. I do know that the mount is not the same in the vip area as the original one. The only thing I've seen out of all the vendors that's worth purchasing is some skins for your companions and a red and white dye. Both (I think) come from the security key vendor. Make no sense to me that the vendors we paid extra for have the worst items outta the bunch. I think the only thing they have (Non security key vendors) worth purchasing is the yellow black color crystal which Is totally useless at higher lvls (If I am remembering correctly). The only reason I use the security key is to get the extra cartel coins.

I would rather if they didn't do that. If you happen to have a non standard companion like a nexu, you can use the jawa premium mats to buy custom outfits for your companion. But to be fair this is the only item of value I see coming from any quality of the jawa junk/scrap. It would be nice if they added some better options for useage on the jawa junk. Like being ale to buy more and better stuff with it.

I gotta agree with this 100% I really don't like this new "gambling" system of getting gear. I have a character around lvl 50 command who has 2 set peices from the command boxes and a lvl 9 sniper with the same number of set pieces. My (Command) lvl 40 something Alt has 1 set item. So my level 9 sniper has more set pieces then my level 48ish alt. This is insanity to me. Your leveling up (Except for the tiers) means nothing in regards to getting set items. It's just a total gamble on what gear is gonna pop outta that command crate unless you pvp. At least the Pvp system works where you can be upgrading your gear as you gain levels in pvp. This is how an MMO should reward your time invested into the game. The problem for me and I'm sure a lot of others out there, I don't pvp. So if you don't want to PVP they are now forcing you to play through 100s of command levels to "Maybe" update your gear. IMHO this is the Worst mistake SWTOR has made since the games release. People (Myself included) are starting to get tired of opening box after box of junk that goes nowhere but furthering your next command level. I myself am starting to consider leaving the game again due to this system alone. This really sucks as I love this game and have invested a lot of time and money into it. I guess I just don't see the thrill in gambling for set items. I think they should totally overhaul the command crate system and change it to the system that is in place for PVP. This gives players new gear as they advance through the levels and feels much more rewarding then an item you gambled for.

Hey all. I was wondering if others are also still having this issue? You try and look at a new piece of gear and it vanishes. Not sure why this is happening but it's been going on for a long time now and I am just a little amazed that this hasn't been fixed yet.

Hey all. I was wondering how to be get light side points in the game. Is chapters the best way? I'm just not sure what I'm supposed to be doing to get them. I always end up with a few per week and I have no idea how I'm getting them. Any help would be great ty all. P.S. I'm talking about the new dark or light vendors, not the old ones.

Hey all. I was just wondering what the chances are for getting a Platinum level item from a hypercrate (The one that comes with 26 boxes). I have opened 2 hypercrates in the last 2 months with nothing usefull at all. There were 4 items that were platinum in the pack (All of which I wanted to have) and did not get a single decent item outta multiple packs. I thought there was one item of Platinum status (Minimum) out of each hypercrate. If this is the case, why am I not getting any of them? Too be honest I think I only got a few (Suckie) gold items at best. So is this all RNG now and just a freaking gamble on what your gonna get? Spending hundreds of dollars on these packs and getting nothing but garbage in return is making it very very hard for me to buy another hypercrate. Anyway, ty for the help all. I'm sure someone knows about this stuff?

Thanks for the info all. I think the person who suggested fandom and how players wouldn't like the changes makes the most sense to me personally. Also I just wanted to add that they could have easily made the game in the clone wars era or original story type game. This would have made much more sense to me. I mean having this game with the ability to fight Darth Vader, Boba Fett and luke skywalker would have been awesome! I just don't like the advancement in time that seems to happen in the SW universe. Like when is the next movie supposed to take place? Where is that in the SW universe? I know it's a stand alone movie but do you think we will see something new? I hope so. With the new movie on the way (And depending again on timeline) I'm hopeful we will see some new stuff we have not seen before. This is also causing confusion to other people who are fans of Star wars. As an example my parents (Who are in there late 60s and 70s are big star wars fans yet they had no idea the rogue one was a new story and not the second movie of the new franchise, and they are not alone. Sticking to one timeline would have made much more sense to a lot of people. This would also avoid the confusion of where a SW movie (Or TV show like clone wars/rebels ) fits in the time line. I'm sure (As I have seen other post) that they will not agree with this but it's just down to my own opinion and what I have heard from other players and fans. I respect everyone else take on this

I see what others are suggesting and I think one idea may have been missed. (Sorry if someone already suggested this) Before anything try running a repair on the game files before you go to bed for the night. I takes a long time (many hours in some cases) for the file repair to work so I suggest doing that overnight. Also get yourself a temp program and check the temps. I use CPUiID HWmonitor. Monitor Your videocard and other components. This could be overheating issue which would also cause stutter. If your temps are high you need to clean out whatever is running hot with compressed air. Your videocard or cpu getting all gummed up is another possible cause. Try turning down the resolution a little and see if that helps. I have not read the whole thread but I'm sure others have suggested reinstalling or replacing your videocard drivers. Also try re downloading Dirext X and see if that helps. I have seen some issues with the Direct X not working properly causing things like the problems you maybe having. Also could not hurt to run a Direct X test (Open the command box and type in dxdiag) then run the system check on that. There are so many different things that could be the cause of your issue. If you cannot get it working after reading this forums thread I suggest sending in a ticket or calling Swtor support and see if they can't get your game up and running again. Also if you cannot get the issue fixed, re post on the forums about it. There are a ton of tech savvy people here. I'd hope we can get this issue worked out.
