It's funny to see people trying to justify the slicing nerf saying it affects everyone. While that theory is somewhat correct, the economy is not going down the toilet cause of it. That theory assumes the only people buying stuff on the market are slicers...which is not true. Heck, I'm a slicer and the biggest thing this nerf affects is my bottomline. I do spend money on the GTN, but so does most of my guild, who are not slicers. So saying the nerf affects everyone and the economy is dead ZOMG is not entirely accurate.
This is almost exactly like the super sweet tax cuts for the upper 1% in America. They don't wanna nerf it because apparently the money trickles down and the rich create jobs. Which as the last few years have shown is a bunch of BS. The rich stay rich because they keep their money...
