  1. Dude... I'm a PvPer and I can tell you that your argument makes zero sense. People who play on a PvE server expect PvE only. It is not a player's fault that Bioware pulls bait and switch on their playerbase. Players who join PvE servers should be able to toggle PvP even in open world PvP areas, especially subscribers who pay for a particular kind of gameplay. Second, if you want to PvP on a PvE server, respect the majority's playstyle and stick to warzones. You'll get more respect and earn more friends. Real PvPers play against PvPers, so go to where the PvP is on a PvE server.
  2. It is not necessarily the crafters that are price gouging, but rather the people who harvest crafting materials. As a crafter, if I pay 5000 credits for ONE mandalorian iron, and my product uses 5 mandalorian iron, the base price to break even is 25,000 credits. An honest profit of 15% (6,250 credits) would make the item 31,250 credits. That is not including the cost of other mats. So if you want crafted items to be cheaper, blame the harvesters, not the crafters.
  3. Try re-rolling on The Fatman (US) or Tomb of Freedon Naad (EU). I hear those two are great servers.
  4. ^^ This. It is supposed to be difficult. It is supposed to be heavily camped. It is supposed to be rare, and yes it is supposed to have a long spawn time. That said, 4 hours is pittance compared to games like WoW or Everquest. This is SWTOR and the difficulty of the camp was made easier by 250% in comparison to the latter games. This is something for people who have a lot of time to spend camping a rare item. There are those who may not have the time nor inclination to camp this egg, and those are the people who will have to face that their priorities are not on special camp spots. It has nothing to do with something being not fair, but rather it has everything to do if you are the type of person that likes camp spots.
  5. That answer is clearly dependant on your server's population and the side you chose. To clarify, some servers may be Imperial heavy, making it easier for imps to get a group. At the same time the Imps may be heavy on tanks and healers so DPS may be the way to go. That said there could be a balance of population on some servers with a healthy balance of classes, making your decision even more difficult.
  6. Bioware has already did something about it. They added extra servers at launch. Why not re-roll on one? At the very least those communities will welcome the extra presence and maybe even stop writing threads about how under-populated their servers are currently.
  7. Look again... it's - Quinn Usable only, and cannot be weilded by Vette.
  8. Yes, it was awesome when used as intended. Unfortunately non-RPers used it as a griefing tool against role-players, and was taken away.
  9. Actually credit sinks over time lead to hyper inflation. A betetr solution is to add attrition to everything. Second, to the OP I am surprised actually how easy it is to get money in this game. You can make 350k+ in under 2 hours just by doing dailies. 350k a day is an insane amount of credits.
  10. I agree. The CC is already lackluster at best, so more options would be great.
  11. /signed Begin with female-female flirts and you'll appease 90% of your male player base playing females pretending to be female IRL.
  12. I just have to know, OP. You whole heartedly admit you knew surnames were linked to legacy before you chose your legacy name. Why in the world would you choose a legacy name that would not also suit any Imperial alt you may have made in the future? This game is about choices, however I would support your idea for a paid name change.
  13. Dude, don't give us that casual gamer BS excuse. I play 2 hours a day, sometimes even less. Doing your dailies on Belsavis and Illum at level 50 nets like $350K+ a day. You can finish both planets in under 2 hours.
  14. You do make a good point, they cant even get chat bubbles implemented when CoH, practically an 8 year old game can nail it from day 1.
  15. It is lunacy for "one" person, that's why they are called "guild" banks. You know, those organizations consiting of more than "one" person?
