  1. I am already at 75 with 306iRating, full Gathering Storm set and Stormwatch tactical and 3000 tech fragments for a new tactical - I'm almost set. I mean Stormwatch is good for killing fat single targets, bosses, but it's too difficult to use its complex rotation for multiple trash/silver targets and KOTFEET's enemies are *********** swarming you, as far as I remember, so Stormwatch seems to me as a big NO right now. Of course if there is nothing better then I'll use it anyway, but I hope for alternatives.
  2. I'm not some tryharder Pr0gAyMer-DeaTHN00bz kind of player, I'm closer to noob akshually. I mean, I know rotations, I can do damage on my sorc, I even was specifically commended by teammates couple of times for my performance while in FPs. But holly molly, was it *********** HARD for me to go through KOTFEET even on "story" difficulty, you have no idea. I almost have PTSD from it. And all of this BEFORE kotfeet was screwed up even more by 6.0, now I'm with my freshly remade Sorcerer just on a verge of a seizure when I'm thinking I'm really to go through this unfair bull**it again. Iokath... oh, god, why you've left me all alone?! I'm sorry, I'm just losing it a bit. I need an advice: what spec and tactical should I use on my Sorcerer for solo-pve story content to avoid as much pain as it is possible?
  3. Ah, found it! There is a codex entry about Museum of Corellian Industry, where it is said, that Thanathon personally eradicated all Republic forces stationed there to made the museum his personal base on the planet in secrecy.
  4. You do realize I was asking about Sorcerers specifically and codex entry you quoted was written back in the times when there was an actual Inquisitor class (i.e. it's just about game mechanics, not an actual lore and how it is in a galaxy far, far away) which also was, in fact, just a precursor to Assassin, definitely a much more combat-orientied class?
  5. Is it really true? Are you sure, you 'member correctly? I just don't member hearing someone pointing that out in the story. I had a very big problem with RPing my Sith Sorcerer in a game that is all about frontline combat - it didn't really seem to me adequate for someone in a ceremonial robe and with a limited lightsaber proficiency to actually engage enemy troops and all that. But if what you saying is true than it's a big relief to me for sure!
  6. While Warriors will always have an option to actually fight and kill Jaesa right at the reunion... Just as THEY always had an option to make their Jedi dark. No, seriously, someone at the dev.team totally hates Inquisitors and plots against them. It's a mircale we've actually got the chance to return our chair and Silencers.
  7. It's that simple. I mean, it's already offensive enough that Inqs are obligated to tolerate a total LS-paragon on board while in a comparison Warriors can make Dark Bastila 2.0 out of their pet Jedi. But not even give us a chance to make things right at the reunion, long after class story, was beyond absurd. Peck, I would even reroll and make another Inq if Bioware would let me put this young soul out of her misery.
  8. Despite anything I found it really easy to put my Sorcerer in the new story since 4.0. After all my class is better than literally anyone else suited for any dealings with ghosts, voices in the head, mystic rituals and other things alike. Also the whole dark side (no pun intended) of the story about taking the throne of Zakuul for myself is a great fit for my former Dark Council member whose class story was all about gaining true political power. Maybe there was a couple of questions, for example, about my sudden ability to take down Arcann in a pure lightsaber combat like my lighning is just for show and giggles, but still it was pretty much my cup of tea. And then 5.10 and Onslaught happened. After I dealt with Valki the story totally lost all of its mystic/Force component and became a crystal clear war story. Which is fine for most players maining Knights and Warriors, I suppose, but it seems pretty dumb and out of place for my Sorcerer. And I'm not even starting about how bad it is for Sages. At least our dark side powers are somewhat passable for killing things and bringing 'em pain. - Tell me about Commander - He is a battle-hardened veteran... Bruh. Nuff said, really. Even on Ossus I still was trying to justify my entire presence, like, "boo-hoo, it's an old Jedi planet, full of Force... Thingies... So it was absolutely understandable for my fellow Imps to invite me here, I would be a good company and a counterpart for that brute Malgus..." - Yeah, it sounds pretty silly, but it decently worked for me. But it was already pretty rough and then Onslaught just broke my whole immersion to bits and flushed 'em down the toilet, when my body type 1 Sorcerer in his glorious bizzare royal robes actually LED a ********n ASSAULT on the Meridian like he's some ********n Darth Vader while also participating in a dick measuring contest with some spec-ops grunt chick like he's some "shoulder to shoulder with soldiers"-type of guy and not the Naga Sadow's fearsome heir (figuratively at least). I was really satisfied with taking back my Dark Council seat - and I will never tire of thanking BioWare for that opportunity, that alone was enough for me to feel that my subscription payment was totally worth it. But still, I already fear that my main focus in the future story will be being the Hand aka "Vader's knockoff for busting out the door" which will also include leading many other war campaigns for Acina etc. I am convinced that there are many other Sorcerers and Sages who do care about roleplaying or story aspect and they probably wondered at least once at some point what are they doing in the story BioWare is writing right now universally for all classes without any regards for specifics, and why they even should be there. So I'm asking people to help me to figure out a justification for Force-based mage being a military... Ugh... Commander (Since 4.0 I've already started to hate that word alone). Not a sharply dressed guy in a high castle with maps and battle plans, but a frontline battlefield commander who leads the charge on a regular basis and destroys enemy's defences. I remember many powerful Force Users, but their powers were more like "burst" ones, for one big and epic duel in the throne room or on a bridge of a capital ship - not for a continuous multifactoral military operation.
  9. I mean I don't know anyone who would pay 2k coins for that ugly *** 230 gear. So I'm pretty sure that the most of us, including me, buy those tokens for a nice and relaxed trip over story content with little to no stopping at tedious and boring fights. And speaking of that... Last time I checked, before 6.0, level cap on Korriban, for example, was 12 or something, while max HP was around 2-2,5k. Now the cap is 10 and 1.3k respectively. And, of course, we were dealing much more damage back then. And also they nerfed our companions healing to the ground. At least it seems to me this way. So what's the point of tokens now? Or do I not understand something? They nerfed mobs too? Explain to me this ****, because they are still selling those tokens to people while simultaneously stripping those tokens of the only use they actually had!
  10. Lol, so there is now no way to acquire DS tokens for anyone without a guild/raid group? Wow, Bioware somehow managed to do beyond pathetic this time: even the "first priority" thing they worked so hard on is broken af. I mean all this "renown"-gearing crap.
  11. Sooo... No one wants to discuss this? It's actually a serious problem: we're talking about the only useful dd-sorc tactical, the only thing that could make sorcs viable again since *********** 3.0, and even that has been implemented half-arsed way. I've reported this bug to staff, but it worries me that it seems like nobody else cares. Also it really looks like the game is *********** dead right now. Even in game, on the Fleet, at maximum population, I see in general chatbox nothing else except for guild recruitment spam and "lfg iddqd 1 mm pee pee poo poo". I'm kinda having Matrix vibes rn tbh - are you all even real people and not just bots created by Bioware to imitate some life on the forum?
  12. I mean my TB is doing right now exactly same numbers as usual - there is nothing of promised "20%" damage boost. Crits, non-crits, full convection stack, two conv's, one - nothing changes.
  13. Would be anyone so kind to clear up one thing to me? Did Darth Nox actually reclaimed his Dark Council seat if he'd chosen to return to the Empire? Acina didn't specify any details on that, but Vowrawn clearly said something like "YOU and your Alliance will become my Hand" - does this "appointment" contradict with the political position of Dark Council member?
  14. I spent 2k coins on the pistol and its collections unlock only to see it maimed in every single cutscene. Anyone's gonna return me my money or something? From what I saw on the forum the problem has been existing for around a year and no one cares about fixing this bug yet still. I paid for this crap and I want this to work just as it should work.
  15. Bah, le strawman classique with red herring flavour - dude, do you understand, that the whole point of my thread is in something other than the absurd demand to play galactic conquest mode in SWTOR? And what I tried to argue in debate exactly with you is only that the whole KotFET business was an incoherent meaningless and cancerous mess on a concept level - because obviously it is not really a healthy gamedesign practice to try to implement some story elements in a game of such a format.
