  1. Sorry but without multi-player content then there is no mmo there isn't any romantic notions involved with that concept. Multi-player is part of the name for a reason. You can try to call it what you want but as it stands right now swtor is no longer an mmo. Once a developer stops making multi-player content and trivializes multiplayer content it ceases to be one.
  2. Actually if they expect people to pay them they in fact do work for those people. Something that people nowadays seem to forget in this "entitled" generation.
  3. It has been this way since launch and is way better than it used to be when the game launched. The only real complaint you could even remotely have is that it didn't occur on a Tuesday.
  4. While I somewhat agree I disagree more. One of the biggest reasons why WoW is so successful is because of the camaraderie and friendships people have made over the last decade. The entire purpose of an mmo is to play with other people and when game developers forget that aspect the game's starts to decline. Which is one of the biggest if not the biggest issue with the player base in swtor right now. The devs forgot this is supposed to be an mmo and do nothing to promote that aspect.
  5. That's true in every mmo with a guild\free company you system whether or not there is an xp boost. Which is why guilds with an open recruitment policy have an incredibly high turn over rate
  6. Marketing. A simple 30 sec TV spot in prime time could have done wonders when they were spamming TFA commercials.
  7. There are some. Whether or not they actually are fixed we won't know until the patch goes live
  8. Apparently you missed the post about the depths of Manaan being a simple text error and easily fixed. How long has that gone on for?
  9. Being this is a supposed mmo apparently it's to much to expect a proper expansion pack
  10. Basically none of the bugs listed in the bug section and some of the years old known bugs are nowhere near as important as an unknown bug that interferes with the opening of cartel packs.
  11. Maybe I have been fortunate but I didn't think it was all that bad. Not saying it was a cakewalk by any means but it is doable
  12. WoW has moved away from the conventional raid format and moved into the less trash more boss short fight format. There current raids have about the same length of time and difficulty as vanilla and BC heroics The old school 40 man Gruul's raids where a team would spend weeks trying to progress past a boss are gone unfortunately. Players attention spans just aren't there anymore.
