  1. in that case they should just remove the hard cast of halted offensive and make it only castable when it's procced.

Please do not increase lightning sorcerer cast time for Halted Offensive! 1. the cast time is already insanely long at 2.5 seconds; I was in operation last night and things were dying before it finished casting. 2. lightning socrerer already got hit with the nerf bat from 6.x; it's not even close to the top parsing combat styles any more... it doesn't need nerfing. And on top of that you say you're reducing the damage on top of making the cast time longer. I'm sorry but you can't claim QoL improvements and then make cast times longer AND reduce damage. You said these were meant to be Quality of Life IMPROVEMENTS Making cast times longer only makes the likelyhood of a critter dying before the end of the cast more likely. This is NOT an improvement.

  5. Tython Heroics are still missing from the Activities/Solo list. Please add it back; or make the default spawn in point for the planet the shuttle in the jedi temple not the tutorial story area spawn location.
  6. if the credit cap is already 4bn; then leave it as is i thought it was higher and was asking for it to be reduced ; if it's below 5bn then leave it. my most important point was; that any trade that doesn't go through the GTN isn't going to have sales tax; which is one of the mechanisms to remove currency from the game; so making the GTN maximum the same as the player credit cap would catch the most sales and remove the most currency. and also ps. i've been doing software engineering for 20 years, i know what integers are.
  7. i wrote a post about this; but i think i decided not to press submit. i couldn't find it at any rate. but the biggest thing they can do is allow sales on the GTN to match the character credit cap. any off-GTN player-to-player sale is not going to have the GTN tax applied to it; And i'd imagine that the GTN tax is one of the biggest money sinks in the game. And as more items get more expensive and don't get listed, and by not allowing players to list their most expensive items more and more credits are not going to be removed from the ecconomy.

  9. Can you please increase the sale price on the GTN to say 5bn that should be high enough for all sales. I also recommend putting a per-character credit cap, and legacy bank credit cap of 5bn credits. As long as people are selling these items off the GTN; they aren't subject to GTN-tax; Your number one strategy to combatting inflation is by removing currency from the ecconomy. The GTN tax is probably one of the biggest money sinks in the game. Currently, the off-GTN trades are essentially happening in an off-shore a tax haven. You can also add tax premium onto high value items to create higher credit sinks for the most expensive items. items under 1bn: base gtn tax items under 2bn: base + 1% items under 3bn: base + 2% items under 4bn: base + 3% items under 5bn: base + 4% The more prices go up with inflation, the more off-GTN tax-free trades there will be and the less currency will be removed from the ecconomy. Also one thing that seems to have worked for stalling inflation on star trek online is by having a per-character credit limit (and the legacy credit limit is the same); the most expensive items hit this credit limit and can't go any higher because that's all the money you can use in as single trade; and less popular items are scaled in relation to this maximum price. yes the credits are distributed across many characters, but that is also limited by how many characters they have. And once you hit the maximum credit limit, why have more credits at that point.
  10. After the weekly reset I still do not have Tython in my Planetary Missions list. And yet again i have run to the mission box to pick it up. And this was working fine for me last month and ever since the patch in 7.0 where they added all the weekly heroics back.
  11. please add Tython back into the list of heroic missions in the solo tab. this might be missing because i was on my second combat style i'm not sure. the mission terminal is very inconvient to get to if you're a force user because you don't spawn at the shuttle even at level 80. thank you.
  12. I'm going to counter this by saying. ps as a preface i have not read all the comments; i'm just replying to the title. Level sync is THE ONLY REASON I STICK AROUND. Let me explain. I started off in everquest; and every expansion the level cap went up, the gear went up and there was new content; But the content was geared towards a HUGE level range, you could start raiding at level 46 and you were still raiding the same content at level 50, then 60 then 70; because they were the only places you could get certain drops for your epic gear which was still best in slot even after 4 expansions. Then i played world of warcraft, and what a change that was, now every expansion made all the old content absolutely irrelevant; by the time wraith of the lichking released NO ONE wanted to run karasaan no matter how good it was, no matter how much people loved it, because all the gear that dropped there was WORTHLESS in light of the new gear that dropped from the trash mobs at the start of the expansion, let alone the raid gear at the new end game; and I rage quit WoW because of that and never went back. SWTOR has found a middle ground between these two extremes; where all the content is relevent all the time; and the gear drops you get are always level appropriate and you do content BECAUSE YOU LIKE IT; because it's challenging and because the gear is the same no matter what raid or flashpoint you do. You always get level appropriate drops; and this is critical to the long term survivability of content. Are there problems with class balancing? yes, Are there problems with content balancing? yes. Is it too much of a problem to be insurmountable? no. Can you have fun? most certainly. If swtor picked the WoW model where hammer station only dropped gear for level 20 players; i would never have come back; i love hammer station it's a blast and even in a full set of augmented rakata gear; i still run it as a tank because i want others to have a chance to find the joy i find from it. If you like the wow model better than the swtor model, go play WoW. But i still pine for the days of sitting in karnor's castle for 4 hours killing endless numbers of skeletons and warewolves; because all that time was a chance to sit down with a group of people and just chat with them and get to know them; was everquest the best LFG experence ever? god no, some days it was horrible; but on the days it was good are the best days i have in 20 years of playing MMOs. Edit: Point in case; i can go to tython, the republic stating planet for force users, pick up the heroic mission, have an absolute blast scrapping clankers on the way. And even at maximum level, i get level appropriate gear that i can deconstruct into tokens, that i can convert into other tokens which i can use to buy end-game equipment. And from a role play perspective, as a Jedi; absolutely some time should be spent on tython; and the game supports it and makes it not a waste of time. It doesn't get any better than that as far as i'm concerned. pps; I really didn't get a long with the gearing system in 7.0; but with 7.1 the shell upgrades are back I'm singing the swtor praises again. But for people who haven't gotten to irating 324 with 330 bits of blue and purple gear to deconstruct; gearing is still going to be a pain point. Wyld and Zeek should tell you why they wont give you the missions at the very least, it was a pain to try and find out what was broken on my alt character so i could fix it.
  13. hello, i have full 330 augmented rakata gear; and in story solo mode i'm getting completely destroyed in the Eternal Championship. If you watch older videos from 2016 story mode is meant to be able to be speed run. this is no longer even close to the case. please give the eternal championship a balance pass.

  15. Please can you add Centerpiece to the hook type list for the Sun Machine Reactor? I want to put this in my Rishi Stronghold in the sun room. It should fit size wise, but the hook types don't match. Please add more hooktypes to the Sun Machine Reactor. Thank you.
