1. Having this issue too, on all planets but most of the time the Dantooine and Tatooine races with the Bek. I complete all the objectives and bonuses and still fail the race, I often have to run it 5 times to finally have it marked as completed. It happens very randomly but I did notice it seems to happen the most when I destroy the canisters (the ones you throw a grenade at) closest to the finish line
2. FYI it doesn't work on Chrome either so definitely not a browser issue.
3. Alright here are my thoughts as the GL of a small and very casual guild (we prefer camaraderie over quantity, a fair amount of our members are solo players who joined the guild because they knew me and/or our officers from elsewhere and liked the idea of playing on their own while having the chance to hang out with us. At the moment, some are on a break while waiting for more story content) The jest of it is that I feel conquest as it is now is in a good place for my kind of playstyle and could use buffs for activities I don't do much like operations, or at all like pvp and GSF. I haven't gotten the chance to test the changes on the PTS yet as it's only been up during my working hours so far, hopefully next week. 1. All the points increase feel welcome to me. 2. Not happy about the points decrease, taking things away always feels wrong. Chris' comment on the livestream "about patterns you see" doesn't really sit right with me, it goes against your "play your way" statement. 3. Glad you changed your mind about this: I am generally against restricting activities to location and levels. Locations because a whole lot of players have limited gaming time, and for a good amount of us that playing time is prime time, more competition between players for objectives lead to frustration at best, toxicity at worst. I also believe only giving points for the harder content for the 71+ level bracket is not a good idea, people don't focus solely on harder content once they reach level 71. It also defeats the purpose of items like the Master Datacron. While our guild is still relatively "young," most of my guildies have played the game for years, some were there at launch, a lot of us like to bump up to level 70 to replay the class stories so we can focus on the story parts we love, avoid the more repeatable ones and not worry too much about abilities and utilities. At the latest update of the proposed changes, this kind of playing will be penalized for conquest. 4. A reminder that the "Legacy advancement" objective cannot be complete by a good amount of players, veteran players have maxed their legacy level forever ago, I would like to see that objective work the same way as earning renown ranks do for people who already reached renown 999 if possible. Other things I'd like to see for conquest in general: 1. Give us the rewards for every 50,000 points earned. As of now a player who earns 150,000 points on three characters gets three rewards while a player who earns them on one gets only one reward, this doesn't feel fair. This would tremendously help small and/or casual guilds like mine with opening their flagships. 2. Get rid of the "once per day per legacy" restriction, ideally I'd like to see it changed to no restrictions at all but I'd settle for "once per day per faction" 3. From what I've understood from when you finally added a small yield planet to the swoop even conquest week, it's not as easy as it seems but I would like to see: a) more than one planet per yield objective every week, ideally 3 small, 3 medium and 3 large every weeks and more for the conquest week where we already have more (can't remember the name right now) b) rotate the invasion targets between yield objectives, this would give smaller guilds who want to compete on the leaderboard a better chance. 4. Let us completely turn off the pop-up for the conquest objectives completed, let us finally turn off the pop-up for "[guildname] is controlling the planet" The latest is annoying and buggy, I've lost count of how many times I had to completely reset my UI because it would just not go away. The former is obnoxious when doing actives that require space awareness like space missions, swoop racing, certain operation fights, etc. 5. Let us also buy "Iokath recombinator" with tech fragments, it'd help smaller guilds with crafting dark projects to speed up opening the flagships but 260,000 credits is a LOT considering how much of a credits sink opening flagship rooms already is. Ideally, I'd like to see the options to buy them both ways, credit or tech fragments. 6. The respawn time for the enemies that drop the clinic key for the "The Face of the Merchants" heroic on Coruscant need to be considerably shortened. (Edited to add point 6.)
4. I'm having the same issue on my two most played characters (who have their own custom UI.) I moved the bar to the bottom left corner of my screen and it moves back to the default (top left) spot and behind my chat window after almost every loading screen. It's getting extremely tedious to put everything back where I want it all the time...
5. That or a speeder similar to what we have to go the Rakghouls Tunnels during that event would be helpful.
6. Adding my voice to the disappointment over this decision and my small guilds to the list of guilds that won't get many, if any, flagship plans this week...
7. Oh thank you! It's not ideal but at least there's a workaround.
8. I've been having the same issue for at least 3 weeks. The green reputation token is automatically consumed but my reputation is still the same. No idea if it also happens with the blue token as I've not done those missions yet.
9. This has been my experience too, I kept pushing back replaying the class stories I wanted to replay in the hopes of getting 3 to 5 flagship plans every week. So I had to choose between playing something I really enjoy and grind the same stuff I was tired of playing for something I would really enjoy, decorating, in the very long term. With those new changes, I can do both, and I get more flagship plans myself and from guildies who earned them too, some of them for the first time considering how many times we had to explain that the plans are hiding in the crafting inventory. End result, I play more (and would play more even without the lockdown since I'm working from home) and my guildies play more too; and those who do nothing but solo content now are those who were doing nothing but solo content then*. So yeah, overall this is a very positive update in my small social guild officer's opinion. ETA: *And no I won't push or force my guildies to do things they don't like or make them feel uncomfortable, this is a game, not a job!
10. I've been talking to a bunch of players who are in small guilds and a lot of them are contemplating getting a flagship or unlocking an extra flagship room for the first time ever, They all say they log in more often and see people logging in now that hadn't logged in in weeks or months. As I said to one of them yesterday, I've been working on expanding my guilds flagships for years, and I was getting close to burn out of it and give up. Since the latest patch, I feel like I'm playing towards that goal instead, so yeah, I'm overall very happy with the new system and don't think it needs changing except for a few minor tweaks. But I don't think the change should be based on data collected: - during its first week (I capped all my characters above level 1 this week, I'm not planning on doing that every week) - during double xp (conquest points are not doubled but we still get them faster during double xp) - while people have more playing time than usual. In the end, this is a game, it's meant to be something we do for fun and relax. Treat it like a second job if you like but don't expect everyone else to do the same!
11. I don't get why some of you want them to extend an even that is broken for another week, if they're not doing that already I'm assuming it's because they don't think they can fix it in time for the weekly reset. I appreciate you extending the double XP event as good-will gesture, even if I don't really make much use of it, all of this can't be easy working from home and with everything that's going on.
12. I cannot start the Balmorra bonus series on several characters. All are Republic, level 75 and all of them had completed the bonus series before the patch. The mission is granted via the mission log and sends us to talk to the mission giver. The mission marker shows on the map but not above their head and the conversation cannot be started. Resetting the mission or abandoning then restarting it does not work. (I have sent an in-game ticket too)
13. They clearly stated that the delay for 6.2 was because of voice acting; recording studios are closed and most voice actors don't have a home studio. Add to that working from home presents a lot of (sometimes unexpected) challenges and all we can do for now is be patient.
14. Adding my voice to the praises. I've been working on expanding my small guilds flagships for a while now and I feel like I've made more progress towards that in a couple days than in the past couple months and I'm having a ton of fun doing it while up until last week it often felt like a second job. I'm an altaholic and I spend most of my time playing story and dailies and the rest in group PvE activities (mostly one or two ops a week and flashpoints, either with friends or pug) and the only things this update has changed in the way I play is that I play most of my alts a little every week instead of focusing on a few and ignoring the rest. I never was one to force my guildies into activities they were not interested in for the sake of conquest so the fact they can now indirectly help with conquest is a huge plus. I haven't had that much fun working towards completing conquest in months and more importantly I've seen a few guildies logging in for the first time in months! So yeah, thank you to the devs for making it more fun, more rewarding and helping bring people back into the game! ETA: a couple things I'd like to see tweaked would be: - Give us a way to turn off and/or move and resize the conquest pop-up. - Make the yield planets less static: for example, keep 3 planets a week but rotate which yield they are tied to. - Keep the flagship encryption plans out of the crafting materials inventory; people who don't craft never look in there and have plans gathering dust when we could use them!
15. Why are daily objectives for flashpoints master mode only for level 71+? I thought the point was to give us more options. Don't get me wrong, I do love playing master mode flashpoints with my guildies from time to time but they require coordinating between people with work and family obligations and more time and energy I can commit to after a day at work. There's a lot of level 75 player queuing for the veteran weekly flashpoints, why couldn't that count for conquest anymore? Please consider adding veteran mode for the weekly and daily repeatable and possibly story mode for the repeatable (with adjusted rewards of course)
