  1. You glossed over the fact you delayed all story by a month (they were supposed to be released starting in january), any reason for this? We're basically being content starved and all you've got to show for it is these subscriber rewards? We need fun repeatable content, so much missed opportunity in the alliance system, should've been legacy based, should've expanded on the story and included a tie in to all content in the game (PvP/PvE,GSF) in a coherent fasion. When are you finally going to adress the pvp community in this game about the "better than cross server" system you were supposedly working on? Is being more transparant centered around the fact you're just blatantly ignoring these issues? What do the players do in your game once they've played through all the story?
  2. Hi, Looking to transfer 5m credits from POT5 to TOFN (I give credits on POT5, need them on TOFN). Anyone willing?

  4. They aren't doing it.. they came back on their word on what they originally said, I would've been happy with sharing my legacy across all toons but even that's not possible. I'm really disappoitned in the lack of transparancy and communication on this, I had to find out through a Q&A that they weren't even bothering with it anymore, and it's not even for a technical reason. They left us completely in the dark.
  5. It's all just really underwhelming. They postpone the announcement of the rewards of season one (which should have been announced AT THE START of the season to begin with) and then give us "exclusives" that aren't even exclusive. This tiny variant **** is getting old BW. This coming from someone who has played your game since early access. Where's the incentive? Rehashed existing armors and mounts that have a slight visual change to make them "exclusive"? None of the systems to properly support competitive play like a tournament system with meaningful rewards, cross server q's, more fun gametypes? Your hype has once again been a load of hot air. You keep making us excited for "awesome rewards" and changes that will make us happy that just disappoint your loyal playerbase. In that sense F2P has really killed the spirit of the game I feel, slight variations on the same mounts being sold over and over again. Too much emphasis on how you should be optimizing gains from the cartel store instead of finding areas in the game that need actual improving and bring the fun back into the game. What is the sub money going towards? Either these last 2 expansions live up to your hype and actually deliver, or this game won't see a succesful 4th year imho.
  6. Hi, we traded before, I'm willing to trade again. Can come online now if you are on.
  7. As an entertainment product SWTOR delivers, but I feel it has so much more potential that isn't being utilized, I think there is where alot of the furstration is coming from. Love this game, been subscribed since launch (with a hiatus of 2 months for GW2) and I see good things in the future still if BW can pull this expansion off.
  8. Hmm, definately going to make me give assault spec another try on the PTS then.
  9. Wildstar (is way more transparent in it's philosophy going forward, what content they are CURRENTLY working on, etc etc), this I may add is when the game hasn't even been released yet (who'd have thought, right).Planetside 2, there's more examples. I agree, patience is virtue, but if they don't ramp it up by 2.5 or 2.6 I have little hope they will still have the playerbase needed to support their continued development. The moment an endgame player leaves that's been playing since pre-released, the harder it will get to ever get him to come back to the game again. There still needs to be a huge increase in the amount of information we get about future content, in order for us to be able to give meaningful feedback that they can incorporate in their gamedesign.
  10. This is pure gold. Good parody and expresses how the community feels about the silliness in that dev post. "Heal to full" never dies!
  11. Dear BW, No leaderboards, no additional support to PvP other than Arena's, and PVP being fun "as long as there are people to kill" is not a good way to approach things. I'm really not seeing how this is a big PvP patch at all. They made 3 simple maps (fourth incoming) of tdm I mean how much of their resources must that have cost (keeping in mind we have waited for PvP content for OVER A YEAR)? If that's all we can expect of future content size of pvp patches this game is going down the hill alot faster than I initially thought. The value of PvP is the fact that it is REPLAYABLE content so the more energy you put into it the more the community will have a lasting appreciation for the content, seeing as all the PvE content you implement has NO replay value whatsoever. Once people know raid mechanics and have the gear there's zero challenge or fun involved to keep farming these raids. No balance changes till 2.5 or 2.6? Jesus christ. 2.5 is only slated for next year and so far we're in the dark for everything. INTRODUCE REPEATABLE PVP/PVE CONTENT that is fun and keeps the community alive, like podracing/spacePvP (open world) or other fun minigames that offer proper rewards. Content like new daily areas with the same lame quest mechanics and no fun involved whatsoever is not what I signed up for when I made my 6 month subscription. How do you wish to retain endgame players when you show us no real value in keeping it? What is our support of the game going to? Freaking daily areas and more CM items? Focus on making the game fun again at endgame and you will draw in alot more players than you have currently. Expecting to keep our PvP community alive with these half assed patches that offer none of the systems the community needs to support the competitive scene (like leaderboards, the ability to host tournaments, etc.). You're not helping by taking away some of the PvP that people loved because, at your own admition, you freaking didn't support it enough and then wonder why only 2% of the people that play PvP partake in the content. Is BW Austin really content in the way the game is slowly dying out? Show me in your metrics where the content you introduce actually draws more players in than it loses. Please put the little resources you still have into making repeatable fun content that will give SWTOR an edge over it's competitors, cause at endgame your "Fourth pillar" of story isn't there anymore, since you barely add any anymore. I'm quietly still hoping for a big expansion pack announcement but I feel saddened by the way the game is headed currently. Maybe it's not for lack of trying of each individual at BW Austin working on the game, but the restrains from above? I don't honestly know anymore. /end rant
  12. Posted this in the wrong thread, sorry about this.
  13. Wow, this post offers no real answers to any of the questions. Like many mentioned before if you are comparing our overall dps in "real" encounters there's plenty of other dps classes that get a dps gain when the target is below 30%, how is that even relevant to the issue? I agree that we got some improvements for PVP in 2.4 but I think the PVE vanguards will still not be in a good spot. In all fairness this is gonna be hard for BW to balance right since it's not as easy as tweaking a few numbers, cause that in turn will efffect PVP aswell. I would like to have BW re-evaluate what they could do to tweak shoulder cannon a bit to give it a better use in PVE though, since in truth for PVE it is kind of lackluster. Kinda disappointed we waited so long for answers that are just ignoring the issues though. I feel for PVE vanguards in a raiding environment.
  14. Comparison of old tactics to new tactics on PTS (full tactics 8/36/2): Fire Pulse: old: 2554-2734 new: 3017-3137 Pulse cannon: old: 4790 - 7355 (high end value is with 3 stacks) new: 4709 -7232 (high end value is with 3 stacks) Gutt: old: 1517-1631 + 3451 new: 1407-1521 + 2829 AP (without having specced into assault tech tree): old: 2278-2385 + 2095 new: 3005-3113 + 1996 So they didn't nerf the dot that hard for AP, but increased the burst SIGNIFICANTLY. Gutt was indeed nerfed alot in dps, both the dot and upfront damage. Pulse cannon overall got a buff, since it got 30% increased surge, and the nerf to the base damage is negligible. On top of this, at 3 stacks, Pulse Cannon is 6 (7 if you include the base nerf) ammo cells cheaper than live, and it gives a 90% slow. The burst of Fire Pulse got increased significantly.
