  1. Weird. earlier they weren't eligible, but now they are.. /shrug
  2. Whats the minimum level? My mid-30s toon transfered fine, but my level 18/19 toons werent eligible. I need to know how many levels I need to grind out on them for the transfer to work. I've checked the FAQs and havent found anything about min-level requirements. Thanks!
  3. I really hope they don't nerf it. It really isn't too bad if you have a good group of geared/somewhat skilled players. My first night there, we did it on 16 man and it was a lot harder than the 8 man version. The second week there, we 1 shot every boss on 8man and i don't think we had more than 1 death the entire run. Learn the mechanics and it's simple. The hard modes are also tuned well. Took my guild about 1 night of attempts per boss to kill so far. Bioware did a good job with this new operation.
  4. Doesnt matter. Sorc/Sager healers are still the most powerful healers for PVE. With the new damage/healing meters, it's easy to prove too. in a 16man, sorcs are the clear winners due to their AOE heal. In 8mans, if you ensure you have at least a group of 4 people for your AOE heal, you can beat operatives every time. The funny thing is, a sorc/sage's "oh shyt" button is our bubbles which dont show up on healing meters. Even without my absorption counting as healing, I'm still beating operatives in healing done
  5. I'd much rather have my tentacle things hanging down than a hoodie... They are more entertaining than characters with tails! This is all based on user preference. Only thing I can think of to remedy it is to have the "Hide Helm" option include hoodies so we have a choice
  6. Already shelved mine... My only 50... I've spent all of my time getting it the best pve and pvp gear in preparation for rated battlegrounds and it was all for nothing. What a complete waste of my time. If i could charge bioware 50 dollars an hour for all the time i've wasted on this character i'd have a check for $31,570.
  7. Sorc/Sage Healers got hit in the face by the nerf bat swinging at 200 mph. It doesn't appear to be that bad to non-sorc healers, but if you are one you'd know just how bad of a nerf it is. Our burst healing is history. Marauders get a buff. Juggs get a buff... These are the two classes that generally destroy healers. Sorc healers are pretty much completely f**ked come 1.2 and I've already shelved mine because of it. The only reason Sorcs are better than Operatives pre 1.2 is because of their utility, but with these healing nerfs, operatives will become the best pvp healers in the game
  8. How do you mean (in reference to long fights)? The only thing you lose with the hybrid spec is chain lightning, and if you use that too much you'll go OOM. For PVE, I rarely ues chain lightning on single target encounters just because if I do I'll be OOM before the fight is over. Even without using chain lightning, this spec is still better than the full madness spec because of lightning barrage (double speed force lightning/force pebbles). Getting one of those procs gives you two double speed force lightnings which is an extra 3k damage every 10 seconds. instead of a dot that would MAYBE do 3k damage over 18 seconds. You can still use your madness procs on lightning strike which hit a single target for about 74% of the damage your chain lightning would do for half the mana. It's obviously a nerf to single target pve damage, but it isnt as bad as you'd think. Ya just can't aoe as quickly
  9. Yet an assassin killed me in one stun the other day while I was wearing full BM gear and had a bubble up prior to him jumping me. A very good operatives can do the same thing. I've NEVER seen a sorc kill a geared player from full to 0 in 4 seconds flat. It's impossible. They've completely ruined our only burst, where as for other classes they just slightly reduced it or they had another option. Our options are a 18 second long dot that does 2-3k damage on a 9 second cooldown or a 2 second long cast that does 2-3k damage. Meanwhile the other nerfed classes can still hit for over 5k a pop. Seeing as a lot of folks are saying to go 31 point madness in pvp, I'd like to point out that their dots can be purged off with a click of a button. I laugh every time I see a full madness sorc in wzs because I know there is absolutely no chance of them killing me. They just lose. What we need to make madness viable in pvp is some sort of purge protection and a harder hitting 31 point dot talent.
  10. Fair enough. I do love the utility sorcs healers bring to the group (it's why i love playing mine so much), but with these sorc healing changes we'll be spending more time dead than alive (where's the utility in being dead?). If as an operative I live twice as long, I'm perfectly fine with sacrificing my utility if I can keep the ball carrier up while he caps it. Juggs can still jump to me to get over 1 fire and jump to an enemy to get over the second. Life-grip is great, but it isn't required if you queue with a good ball carrier.
  11. This is a good point. I agree they have a lot fewer skills that would be considered utility, but operatives do have stealth and vanish. That's amazing utility for a healer to have. They can stealth to the goal line and have someone toss them the ball. That and they do seem to hit a lot harder than sorcs.
  12. How can you be fine with this? With rated WZs coming up, once you get to high rating (assuming you're good enough to get to the top of it), every single dps that can interrupt will be using it on CD. Even a brain dead DPS will be able to realize you are casting a heal and interrupt it in the time it takes for this heal to go off. I can careless about the mana savings. I don't have mana issues very often. What I absolutely need is the burst healing this talent provided.
  13. You obviously are not a sorc healer. This patch completely ruins sorc healers for healing output. We're going to be half ***** healers with good utility in 1.2 and any melee will rip us apart. Really am tired of non-sorcs posting here saying we're QQing so much. People make note of the names/classes of folks who completely destroy them a lot more then the people/classes they destroy. I know the names of about 5-6 people on my server that I know I cannot kill 1v1, but I only remember the name of two guys that I know are laughably bad. The same percentage of sorcs are amazing players as any other class, but because there are more sorcs than any other class we get noticed a lot more.
  14. I really don't understand why people are saying operatives are underpowered for healers now. I've seen an operative do 750k healing in a voidstar (granted i've done more on my sorc), but they are by far not worthless. If they spec right they can become beastly in pvp... An operative friend of mine has walked the ball to the goal line in huttball with over half the team beating on him without a problem... I heal PVE content with an operative healer too, and I have to say while the sorc AOE heals are far superior to operatives, they pull their weight just fine as a healer and complement a sorc very well. as far as operatives as dps... in pvp there are some operatives that are absolutely overpowered, but i've yet to see a good pve dps operative.
  15. Just seems like this is getting back to WoW where warriors kill rogues and rogues kill priest....etc It should be about who's got the skill, not about what class you play.
