  1. Since this is the only part I can remotely consider myself to counter with any decent knowleadge I will... Honestly, this is the same for any game with a level up system and PvP, me and most of my friends PvP from level 10 to 50 if playing a new class while questing, why? Because getting used to killing mobs in PvE and players in PvP are very different, and as such I need to learn how to do both. Leveling PvE for 49 levels and then complaining that you suck in pvp, well there is no suprise there, you got 0 experiance, of course you will have a bad time. Also on another note, if you play an MMO and expect not to repeat content over and over again, then you're in for a baaaad time, that is the nature of the beast, there is no way developers can put out fresh content at a rate that nothing is repedative
  2. Why I left? I left because my friends got back into WoW and I wanted to play with them, and most of the people I played with back around the inital sub drops left because of similar reasons. This game is stable, as of right now the only bug I've ever experianced is warzones not finishing properly, 2 times, in over 5 months, also not being able to unify colors on my companion, thats it. Im sitting on a 350 euro rig, its no beast, and I can still on custom settings mixed between low and high run this on 90 FPS, lagspikes I only get when Im trying to watch videos and play at the same time, but that is cus of my horrible internets. Try out The Secret World, that is a horribly unstable game for you. This game runs smooth as hell compared to alot of other MMOs, The only ones I've played that can compete are the other bigs, namely WoW, GW2 and RIFT. Also, just for your information this is currently the 2nd largest MMO in terms of active users after WoW, so drop the ******** doomsaying already, the game has no more issues than any other MMO out there.
  3. This is the 2nd largest subscription based MMO after WoW, I know... Crazy right? But its true, despite all the doomsday and crap about this game, its still in 2nd place with rift and gw2 following behind. So yeah.. the few diehards, might be hard for you to grasp but me and my friends actually play this game because its fun, not the story, not the setting, but the gameplay feels fun.
  4. Sorry for double post, but seriously dont let the door hit you on the way out, I've played since launch and not once have I had a gamebreaking bug, all the minor stuff I've run across exists in pretty much every other MMO out there. And the Life Day stuff? Every single F2P game I've ever played relase cosmetic ******** around the holidays for real cash. But yeah, an in-game event would be nice for people who like that kind of stuff, I dont however
  5. Oh for the love of... I really hope you're being sarcastic! The mentality that you need a reward for your gameplay is what is wrong with people today, its a GAME not your work, you play it for fun. What did you get out of playing super mario? Nothing, the game and character is the same strenght, start to finish and yet its still a very popular game and franchise, or... Call of Duty, FPS games, there is no reward besides the stat screen. Or the myriad of people playing GW2 PvP, sure you get new looks and armors, but the strenght is the same. I PvP for fun, I truly enjoy PvP in this game. Gear is a nice bonus, but its far from the reason I play PvP, anyone who plays PvP just to get gear to own "noobs" probably should look for other venues... Like dynasty warrior games, there you butcher thousands, and if you say its not the same because they're not real people that can feel the shame of defeat, then you my dear sir are on twisted person
  6. Basicall it dawned on me today, it would of course be on the level of an expansion due to all the new content etc that'd be needed. But yeah classes are actually really easy to solve, no new ones, just mirrors of the existing ones. Now I know, but jedi and sith are bound to their factions! Ofc they are, but you can make a similar class without force powers no problems. Sith Warrior/Jedi Knight - > Blademaster, uses vibroblade and heavy armor along with some nifyt wristmounted gadgets to take care of the force powers, grappling wire, cryo etc, most animations already exists they just need some altering. Inquisitor/Consular - Techsavant, uses electrostaffs, have ion generators, explosives, shield tech etc, seismic charges, I could make out each ability and its new version but that'd take forever, Im just showing that logically it would work. As for bounty hunter and agent mirrors, there are a gazzillion possibilities and no real need for specifics
  7. " - Abuse or exploit bugs, undocumented features, design errors or problems in the game. " Right there, in the terms of use, EULA, whatever you want to call it. This is a design error/ Undocumented feature So yes, they are breaching the terms.
  8. this is my experimental spec, its doing OK... Im still getting used to it, one thing I can say tho. I have a hell of alot more moveability and adapbility than I used to have running this one. The mechanics are easy, instant casts and lightning barrage has priority, fill with lightning strik/crushing darkness/force lightning as you yourself please, if they interrupt your channel, well guess what? Lightning strike is buffed up and usable. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#201ZbsbrdRbhZcrzRsMz.2 But as I said, it is very much so experimental and in early stages, but it might work well for someone else as well, I usally dont share this stuff, or read other peoples builds for that matter... kinda want to find my own path, but as I dont feel that I suck in pvp, I thought I'd pitch in.
  9. Okay seriously, Bioware / EA, THAT GUY, the guy who wrote this, should be running your cash shop, he would make you billions!
  10. Please ignore this sad person who hates on a game he is paying for, I havent seen him post a single constructive post, ever. Complaints are fine, but atleast back them up with some semblance of intelligence.
  11. Please, PLEASE go to work as a game tester, programmer or game developer and then try to get it right in the first place. Even if a patch works perfectly in small scale, its impossible to know what might happen once you go large scale, its just the nature of code, at times it even feels devoid of logic! Oh, and this all at the same time while having your consumers yelling at you what a horrible job you're doing... No wonder bioware hardly replies on the forums anymore.
  12. Dark and light is NOT about serving the empire or republic, its about morals, dark choices are always morally "wrong" and light choices are correct. Killing someone is dark, regardless of whom he is, lying is dark, etc... You dont seem to grasp what the system is based on at all
  13. Im sorry what region are you in?... I came back about a month or so before f2p went on, not once did I see anything below standard besides 4-6 am in the mornings, in fact during the day most servers were heavy or full
  14. I had a perfectly valid argument, but my entire post seems to have just been ignored by you oh great naysayer, was it because what I wrote was actually on key and accurate and you found it hard to debunk? Seriously, I've spent 5-10 minutes on the general forum and you're everywhere trashing the game, if you dislike it that much don't you have better things to do?
  15. Its working fine for me, One thing I can say, spamming keys will make you character jerk about it you have abit of lag etc. One thing that helped for me was lowering the delay in the options to 0.25 instead of the basic 0.5, there is a slight delay still yes, and it is visually noticeable... But its smooth enough for me to atleast enjoy the game, however if they can improve it, they really should because it would make the game feel and look much better.
