  1. Yep: this happens to me too. It's quite odd, I mean totally playable, but I hope it gets sorted 8) I also noticed it occurring without any cell active
  2. Ah, this thread is so one of my favourites, so I thought I'd throw in a couple from my recollection. 1) Back in the day (before 2.0 and just after the HK-51 chain came out, I was queuing for Maelstrom Prison HM for the HK piece on my healer. Got a nice quick pop, me sage healer, a sent and commando DPS. We pass the first droid boss, then for some reason the tank leaves (I think he DC'd). So we queue for another tank, and the rest of us being well geared decided to press on. Just before we get to Colonel Dashk we get our replacement tank, Guardian. He dies, but we take down the Colonel. It was then we all notice the tank isn't in Soresu. (So far so normal, right?) So we ask him to drop into Soresu, I add 'Tank stance' and 'the green one', as I'm assuming English wasn't his first language based on his toon name. Doesn't happen. He doesn't even acknowledge us. He's not even using taunts, so halfway through the next mob fights the sent whispers me, saying, 'just treat me like the tank' which I agree with and we breeze through the FP. The best bit? Despite not talking to us, or even acknowledging he didn't know what his 'tank stance' was, our fantastic Guardian had the audacity to demand we "SPACE PLZ!!!" through all the cut-scenes. Obviously we didn't do that. On the penultimate cut-scene every time he typed in "SPACE!!" I typed in "Tank!", hoping he'd get the message. He didn't. 2) This is one where I made a hilarious fool of myself. Again, back in the old days; Taral V SM(my favourite FP btw). My sage healer again, a sent DPS, vanny tank and a guardian DPS. We drop that droid before you talk to Kilran and it drops a nice piece of orange heavy strength armour. The Guardian needs and wins, and I lose it. "Why need on armour you can't use?" I type. "Cos i can use it" comes the reply. I rage some more, annoyed at the ninjaing. Then it hits me. Why was I angry? Because forgot he was a guardian. I was looking at the role symbols on the group pane and saw the DPS crosses and mistook them for a sent/marauder. I felt so stupid. Needless to say my apology was overflowing, and I promised to keep my mouth shut for the rest of the FP. Once explained we all had a good laugh about it and finished the FP amicably, but it taught me to think more carefully before calling people out.
  3. Marty; Remember two years ago when you went on that business trip to Tokyo? I slept with Jessica. Twice. I'm sorry man, I felt really bad about it afterwards. She was terrible. This feels like the most appropriate way to tell you this. I hope you can forgive me.
  4. Thanks so much for this. It really clears up a lot of the stress I was having with the droids. I will look forward to doing the seeker quests tomorrow now! 8)
  5. I love concept art. It (to me) helps with the epic feel of games like TOR, Mass Effect and Dragon Age. It's particularly interesting to me to see the stages of evolution something goes through. Keep up the scribbling! 8)
  6. Firstly; go to your fleet; you can pick up free pvp Recruit armour and also 99 free Tionese commendations. You can use these to buy almost a full Tionese set from your respective vendor. (I've found Recruit is generally better overall though at the start). You then should be able to do flashpoints or pvp warzones (depending on your preference). You can also pick up your daily and weekly missions for both PVP and Flashpoints from their respective areas on the fleet. If you do play warzones though; make sure you are wearing all your PVP gear, as it will prevent you from being instantly crushed. But you will die a bit (or a lot), until you get the next tier of equipment (War Hero), which you can obtain by amassing the commendations you get for playing warzones. If you're not sure of the maps or objectives, a quick glance on the 'net should provide you with the basics. From your post; I'm inferring that you've haven't done many (or any) of the FP's before (sorry if I'm wrong). You want to do "Hard Mode" Flashpoints which yield better gear, though you may wish to do the "Story Mode" which is easier, to get the gist of the level. My advice would be either read a guide to get the basics down, (some bosses do have certain mechanics to watch out for) or get a group/guild who can explain it all to you in detail as you go through. Provided you announce you're new to the FP at the start though, most random groups will happily explain the tricky bits (which are few and far between). Make sure you pick up the daily and weekly missions form the terminals on the Fleet; they can provide some great rewards. Your aim in doing flashpoints is to be able to get the better gear, so initially you are looking toward Columi, then onwards. In Hard Mode, the end bosses drop Columi gear, so look out for that. Despite the name hard mode isn't really that hard compared to the normal (story) mode FPs. You can do the flashpoints in any order, though Lost Island is harder, due to being a tier 2 FP. Leave that one for a while. Group finder will randomly select a flashpoint for you to do, and a group if you're by yourself, though you may have a wait. Eventually you may want to go on Ops, but many people like a certain gear requirement for those. I would suggest running the dailies (on Belsavis, Ilum, the Black Hole on Corellia and Section-X); an excellent way to build up cash and daily commendations which can be used to buy earpieces and the like. Again, the fleet will give you the quests to find these places, so don't worry about that. I'm certain I've forgotten something amazingly obvious, but hopefully someone else can add it for you. And I'm sorry for the length of my reply. Hopefully I haven't swamped you with information. Have fun, and happy Gaming! 8)
  7. I would love new huttball arenas. Maybe just two more, and they operate on a cycle independent of the normal warzone cycle. (As in, once Huttball pops up, it's a 33.33% chance for one of the arenas). I suspect most of the teams are focused on 1.7 now though. Having said that, we don't know what may be included. Fingers crossed for new WZs and FPs!
  8. Well, as someone on IGN posted, If the movie sucks, he'll be forever known as "Jar Jar Abrams." I think that's incentive enough to make the film at least half-way decent. I'm not holding my breath though.
  9. I hope this is true for you; It's not for me though. I noticed that my Assassin was gaining rested experience bonuses when I had logged out in non-rest areas. I know for a fact I was on normal (yellow bar) experience, didn't have any XP boosts. I've put in a ticket, hoping it's a bug; though i doubt anything will be done. It can be annoying to come back after a few days and gain more XP than I planned. (It's my own fault for wanting to do everything though). This has also happened with my Commando. Guildies seemed to believe with was a feature and intended, but I swear it never used to happen. I am in favour of a toggle-like switch simply to removed the rested XP bonus, but not to disable it completely. (Unless of course, my problem is a bug, in which case, nothing need be done beyond fixing the bug) By 'disable it completely' I mean Experience in general, not the Rested Bonus
  10. I've got to vote for M1-4X! his responses to everything were just so funny. (If UK players want a clue, he's like an American version of the E4 announcer!)
  11. Don't know if anyone's suggested this (because I'm too lazy to read the whole thing) but I'd love a little minigame or something where I can run around in a Mandalorian Basilisk War Tank thing blowing up folks. It'd be neat (but only for a little while)! I'd also enjoy the ability to design a Legacy flag or emblem and have it plastered all over my ship!
