My favorite part of posts like this is when the OP, ends his very well thought out and worded arguement which carefully explains his opinion, with a line that calls EVERYONE who disagrees with him irrational, thus completely discrediting his post. Even if I do not agree with your opinion, I respected your opinion. That is, until you attacked me for not agreeing with you. Now I just think you are QQing...also, L2P.

I think the arguement is not really much of an arguement. The feelings of frustration are understandable but generally are also unavoidable. There as of now, is no way to prevent augmented WH geared players from entering a regular unranked WZ. You can not force someone to participate in ranked. There are not brackets or teirs in unranked pvp. It does STINK getting blasted to pieces when you are undergeared, but this is really just the nature of the modern day WoW- Clone MMO. The only thing I can reall advise or say in regards to the matter is that, during the time that you are undergeared the best thing anyone can do is learn SOLID tactics. Learn to defend a node properly, not rush in and fight 3 guys and die in 10 secs and lose the node. Learn to harass and use line of sight. Learn positioning in Huttball and learn the counters to abilties and classes. You WILL NOT be an overwhelming success in recruit gear. But you can learn valuable tools on your way to better gear that can make your PVP experience and contribution better.

Let me get this straight...in your first example ,your team were the winners, you had the hghest damage on your team, tied for second in medals and had the 2nd LEAST deaths of everyone on your team. Where is the problem?

I am just posting because I am trying to figure out where this mentality that a game must have 2, 3, 5, 8 or even 10 MILLION subscribers to be considered succesfull. Now before the comments start. We can ONLY go off of the latelst figure of 1.3 million subs. I am not particularly conscerned with opinion on what subs MIGHT be because the game is "failing." Now as a point of reference. The other MMO, WoW, did not have a 1 million sub player base until well after its one year mark. And during a time when there was a considerably lower number of titles battling for subs. Keep in mind, that ToR has to try and mainain sub numbers while games like WoW still exist! That significanlty effects the base player pool available. Some people will stay with a game because they are loyal to the game. And this is fine. So here we are, back to ToR. 1.3 Million subs and HUNDREDS of people on my server at peak play times. This to me is good. I get almost instant PvP pops. Instant group finder pops. Can pug almost anything with relative ease finding a group. This to me screams success since they have these numbers despite all the major issues the game has encountered. I really can not understand the amount of "ZOMG its a failure!" posts. I do understand the frustrations some express. PvP needs a look. We all know we need new content. BUT, we also all know why we do not have the new content that we want right now. We encountered a huge problem with server pops and major QoL updates that were desperately needed. And BW came along and handled these things about as well as anyone could have hoped. So now we know new content is on the way. Can we just all take a breath, maybe even a break if we need to until the new content is available to us. But I wonder greatly how a community that is so quick to react and scream the sky is falling can thrive without a little patience.

For me it was the healer in the group. Im a tank. We were running and he had 5 bazillion shortcuts to avoid pulls. Which is cool. Then we accidentally pulled ONE group and he had a complete temper tantrum and rage quit the group. Then we were waiting for a while for a healer who didnt mind missing some of the fights. Eventually we got back on the road but I couldnt believe how over anxious this healer was.

If I am being completely honest here.... I understand the frustration of the players getting wiped. But in all honesty... lets remember that we are playing a game. A Role Playing game. Even if you are not on an RP server its a mmoRPG. If I am trying to down content or just happen to be near by and see a group of my arch rivals and most hated enemies trying to organize and accomplish something great, and I can stop them, I would. It was a intentionally designed this way. It is a world boss. They made it this way because you do not HAVE to do the boss. You get a buff that is unique and special to the encounter because the encounter iteself is unique and special. Its the whole point of the fight. And no, I have neither downed NP or engaged in the griefing of plaers trying to down NP.

Just beause YOU define somethign as spam does not make it so. It is general chat. They are generally chatting and having fun while playing the game. This happened in WoW but instead it was Murlock. It was FUN. Just relax, make your chat window bigger so things dont get ran off the screen as quickly and relax. You have the GTN for selling items and group finder for finding groups. The admin has also suggested finding a guild. This is also great advice. Again, I understand you are frustrated. But you do not get to decide what is spam and determine that that what others are doing is violating terms of use. I don't personally feel like what you are describing constitutes spam.

I mean in all honesty... it is called general chat. This means by definition that you can chat about anything in "general", and that it is not restricted to subject but rather there for people to talk/post/discuss or other wise interact. You are upset that you can not use this chat channel to find groups or buy/sell, but really those are not the purposes of the general chat channel. Group Finder and GTN are really the primary way that you should be fulfilling these actions as well as the trade channel if there is one, I am not sure whether there is or not haha Im sorry this is interfering with your enjoyment of the game though. But try to be as adaptive as you can be.

People REEEEEAAAAAAAD the article. It says that if you must have a character on a qualifying server (including destination servers) and your account must be active by July 30, 2012 at 11:59 PM CDT / July 31, 2012 at 4:59AM GMT. •Your account must not be banned. If at this time you have met this criteria than you will see the mail from the devs with your reward. All of the destination servers qualify for the reward. So long story short, if you have transferred, as lng as you are the server with an active account and not banned by July 30 you get the reward. Again...Read.

It is only imba until you are geared. And thats just life as the current MMO player knows it. Take your licks and get your gear than play the game. I am a PVE players who just started trying to get my pvp gear up and I am getting BLASTED! But what should I expect? People have invested more time into it then I have so they are better equipped. Incidentally, I bought my first 3 pieces of BM gear in like a day. So I can not see this process taking too long and its fine to try and find a way to win against a superior opponent.

It is Anakin because G-Canon says so. However, its not as if the world ceased to go on after the events of RoTJ. The prophecy was read, interpreted and happened. The balance was brought the force by Anakin destroying Sideous (who incidentally was the most powerful Sith lord of all time *also G-Canon*) and releasing the galaxy from the control of the Sith. The EU is fine because the world went on. People that knew and studied the Force continued in the same way they always had. Some wanted to serve the light. And still other greedy persons sought after personal power and glory. And so the world turns and the Force continues to be, well...The Force.

And another thread talking about the same things, just WAITING go get closed by a mod. Use the search bar in future and see if you are starting a thread that already exists. Your point may be valid, and in this case, I agree with your thoughts on space combat. But this point is very well respresented on the forums by many threads.
