  1. Well to be fair, I could easily start a thread titled "You will not be able to level with your friends... unless you move in with them, and synchronicze your sleeping, eating, and pooping habits: True or False?" It is unfortunate that folks won't be able to group up right off the bat, but I doubt it will have a huge impact down the road. At the very least, it will have nowhere near the same impact as real life has. Even the best and closest of friends have different schedules during their day to day lives.
  2. Disclaimer: The following is (would have been) a troll post. I was tempted to post the above last night during all the fuss, but realzied that it would have been in poor taste. I'd neither want to give a mod a headache nor add to the aggravation of those already stressed over early access. Still though, glad I remembered this site in the end: http://www.pakin.org/complaint/ So many fun times on less reputable boards back in the day just putting together 5 paragraphs of pure nonsense to point out how trivial some "problems" folks were having really are. Anyway, was mainly sharing in hopes that a few of you might get a kick out of it. Would have been curious to see how folks would have responded last night, but I'll just have to daydream about it in favor of being less of a jerk than I already am.
  3. While I am pretty darn laid back about the whole early access situation, this was a very nice post to come across. I know it probably isn't much fun for those of you who are dealing with various annoyances associated with the waiting (and more importantly the not knowing) but hopefully by the time Dec 20th rolls around, everyone will be able to move past this and enjoy the game. - crosses fingers - P.S. Speaking of Harry Potter: I did manage to "ruin" quite a few people's nights during the premier of the final movie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0e82me6xEqA
  4. This Without going into too much detail (mainly because I lack the knowledge >.>) all crafting professions should take up about the same amount of bag space and required effort. Enjoy your Cybertech!
  5. Just an overall healing column from what I remember during Beta Weekends. Not that I know of, but I played less than a week's worth of Beta, so there might be. Yeah, I think this is going to be my preferred method if for no other reason that it will be cool to be able to put a "face" with the name.
  6. Well I don't know what I consider the "best" builds Predator, but I've mainly been looking over the builds (sorted by rating) on the DarthHaterDB here along with what folks posted from their ToRhead builds in this thread. I'll read the comments and see how they measure up to my own plans for a Powertech Tank build, and go from there. Hope that helps
  7. To be fair, I don't know the answer to the question posed in this thread's title. Quite a few of the random builds I've come across make use of it (the majority of them actually) and I was hoping to at the very least have it explained to me. From what I've gathered, the increase in Aim (and as a result the increase to your base damage) will lend itself to improved threat levels. I just don't have enough end game experience to know how confident I should be about that. Does anyone have an argument against Steely Resolve, or could someone further elaborate on why it is important for a tank? And if it isn't as clear cut as I thought, perhaps we could have some nice back and forth on the matter. Thanks!
  8. Hello PvP fans! I was curious how others decide who to vote for (if anyone) at the end of a Warzone. I suppose it would be best to choose on a case by case basis, but are there any particular stats and/or qualities any of you look for in an MVP?
