  1. Yes! This is exactly it. Some movies you want to run back to the theatre to watch again right away, Some are one and done. Some, you re-watch every once in a while. Being forced to watch Valkorion's family movies on every character gets really old, really fast. My favourite games are the ones where there is just so much content that you don't have to do the same route to the end on every character. This is one of the strengths of DDO, for example. I can level four characters and have such minimal overlap between what they do that it's not even funny. 100 mini-storylines do more for me than five (or one) massive story. Look, I get it. SWTOR is a theme park and not a sandbox. I always wished you could reject companions in the original storylines. I always wanted to play *Havoc Squad* as a Trooper. I wondered why a marksman Agent would not simply have one droid spotter companion that was also a medic, and an operative potentially none at all if they didn't want. But, being able to play in the universe is what keeps us going here though all the warts. This content... it isn't Star Wars.
  2. Yes, this. I was pretty excited with the idea of KotFE when it was announced. Sounded so cool. After the fourth chapter, I unsubbed until about a week ago, to let all the content come. The drips and drabs of content thing is definitely not for me, I hated that. A lot. I've now re-upped and finished playing through KotFE and KotET with my Agent. For the most part I have enjoyed it greatly and call it good fun. I understand now that it's somewhat different for a Force-using character, so I am going to do it with one of the Jedi now (though I understand that what side you came from makes little difference, but hey.) After that, however... I really just want to skip KotFE and KotET with all my other characters. I don't see a lot of replayability here, and there are some pretty tedious stretches (read: chapters) that I certainly won't want to do more than twice. So, yes - mark me firmly in favour of future content going back to multiple storylines for the different sides, and ideally for different classes. I don't even care if expansion X is for class A and expansion Z for class B. I loved - almost - all of the classes (Smuggler is the weakest story by orders of magnitude and I haven't got the gumption to finish it just yet). New content as an excuse to focus on a character would suit me just fine.
  3. After Dr. Lokin infects my Sith with the Rakghoul plague and makes his "you have to help me now!" pronouncement, the only appropriate response is "I'll take my chances" *lightsaber through chest*. After all, I've already been a carrier for a strain of that plague; I'll be a lot more interested in ridding the galaxy of this idiot than worrying about that triviality. When my Agent walks around the corner and sees that it's Kaliyo, her immediate response would be: cover, Laze Target, and then Ambush. No interaction, just "hell no". I don't care if that makes the story progression harder. In fact, that would be a nice thing to see for variety between characters playing through KOTFE. And so on, and so forth. Bounty Hunter running into Skadge would be another "shoot first, I have no questions" moment. Xalek gave me hope that we'd be able to rid ourselves of annoying companions. There should always be an option to rid ourselves of annoying companions. Please let us rid ourselves of annoying companions. And not by simply not recruiting them, if you know what I mean
