When a Ranged class is Stunned: Cannot Attack When a Ranged class is Rooted: Can Attack Snipers/Gunslingers Cant take cover while rooted When a Ranged class is Knockedback: Momentarely unable to attack when a Ranged class is Slowed: Can Attack Snipers/Gunslingers still can't take cover while slowed Fixed a few points
  2. Have you considered that Using a Gap Closer From 30 metres away To Avoid getting pummeled via range (being that most ranged classes range Max is at 30m, Sniper, only 35m) is a bit wierd? Hence why the cover mechanic was born---->Balance Have you considered running through someone, "bunny Hoping" as its called at the speed that most games allow it to, while a slap in the face to physics and anyone trying to do it in real life would fall flat on their face from being too dizzy? My gimped out of cover MM abilities against your Full 100% ones The difference between a Snipers and another classes Uptime in the current system and your suggested system is that A sniper has full 100% uptime against a target that is approaching and when its on the sniper. The Same targets uptime is 0% and rising as he closes in on the target peaking at 100% when his in melee range, what happens now is up to the players plan of attack, who can outplay the other, currently Your system will have the Sniper starting at 100% but dropping to whatever he can put out with overload shot and rifle shot once the Melee reaches the sniper, Unless the sniper moves out of cover, the melee will keep on him. Once out of Cover Say goodbye to all that immuntiy, as you move away to attempt to gain range, yeah, say hello to a whole lot of hurt. Yes WOWs PVP system is a Total Abortion..which explains why MOST other MMOs these days have Autofacing for channel type ablities...cause they all found out that the method you are supporting....FAILED miserabley Casters finally got a chance against rogues and warriors in that game as a result, no more running through for a Free, No resource, NO cooldown required interupt
  3. I hear escape, Force choke (Also pulls me out of cover) Force charge / Obliterate may work in your favour.... Remember, go into a fight expecting to pop everything in your arsenel, Any half arse attempts by ME have got me killed plenty of times

No it won't Instead it creates the following issue Me< Sniper I see target approaching, i begin channel (Snipe/ Ambush) Target runs through me, i now need to Leave cover and reposition facing 180 degrees behind me to deal with threat. I leave and re enter to re-engage target, he runs behind me again, I Again have to leave cover and re-position to re-engage target. Any smart player will continue to do this meaning that a sniper/gunslinger has to move, considering a Root/snare will stop me from re-entering cover in order to defend myself (Who knew that even when i CANT go anywhere, but i don't want to move but just take a knee at the place im rooted at....oh wait i can't) Out of Cover these two AC take a 70% DPS loss 2 specs in the Sniper/Gunslinger class get restricted to PVE only Sniper/Gunslinger Advanced Classes need complete redesign Tell me, why did WOW add auto-face for people who had channel abilities

  8. Have you ever considered force charging his mate and then force push/charge the sniper gunslinger or are we talking about 1 vs 1 right? So the fact that the sniper/gunslinger may be the hard counter to your class as the Operative/Scoundrel Sentinal/Sorcerer are to mine, and you want to change that because you can't accept that 1vs1 is NEVER EVER going to be balanced, into YOUR Favour??? Right...

CHARGE AWAY!!!!

Oh don't worry, some Biochem player really overestimating these nerfs, they could keep nerfing it, but just like alch in WOW its ALWAYS going to be a HOT profession Armstech on the other hand....well i still don't quite know...still no word if the lvl 23 scope schematics drop in the new raids, otherwise we have nothing to compete against commendation vendors...
  11. Do you even player a sniper? You do know that the only way that will work is that everyone now has to go one spec, to JUST compete? MM takes a 70% DPS Loss outside Cover No Snipe No Ambush No Explosive probe No Series of shots No Followthrough

    Forcing pushing me as a sniper, pushes me out of cover, allowing me to be force jumped True story, which alot of people still dont understand Force choke, also takes me out of cover, Force jump away me hearties!!! Use your 3min Defense cooldowns, if i have popped entrench to prevent you from removing me in cover, then LOS or run the hell away and wait out my Entrenchment (hint if i break cover to come after you, im screwed)

" Right Rooted by two snipers and a sorc...in a Row So what happened to allow him to get rooted three times in a row? Snipers Legshot breaks on damage so one of the snipers would have rooted him, followed by them both firing, followed by the other sniper applying Legshot, then both firing on him again, Sorc is up in melee to snare him again, allowing the snipers to fire again. By this time he should be dead. Legshot instant Snipe instant if talented, on first cover Ambush 2.5 secs (1.5) if talented and stars align with 10 second cool down Presuming he is standing by his statement they rooted him one after the other timing their shots to not break/not to waste a legshot..which would infer they were in TS or other chat program? Organised group vs 1 player dead any day If he wasn't alone What were his mates doing??

    So your basis for screaming for buffs / nerfs against ranged classes is that you got out played by three other players in a 3 vs 1 situation, and you believed that you should have still came out on top? You weren't that same guy that came screaming blue murder on the Paladin forums in wow, that after he killed a lvl 64 at lvl 70, he then got smashed when the 64's two lvl 80 mates who came along after, that it was a totally unfair and that he should be able to take them all on, otherwise they were too Overpowered?
