Firstly i just want to thank you for using APAC as the initial test run for this - after being with SWTOR from beta to 2020 as a sub and then having the sub lapse after close to 10 years in part due to terrible ping and lag input, this test server has got me to resub even for now. I implore you to open this server on APAC again, even if the population may be low - this will make the game actually playable again for many players in the region, especially after the closure of the West Coast servers which was the nail in the coffin for our region. Compared to an existing server, how is the performance? Good - Amazing really. I feel that i can actually use movement based abilties such as the combat roll on Agent and it actually working responsively rather than wait 2-3 seconds on East Coast servers to see where i actually landed. Any specific areas or planets where you feel the performance has lessened? Performance has only improved or similar to before. What region/country do you reside in? Melbourne, Australia Provide a comparison of ping from existing servers to Shae Vizla. Shae Vizla was approximately 25ms, Satele Shan can be between 280-350ms. Is grouped content working properly? As normal, similar to other servers How quickly can you get into a match or Flashpoint you’ve accepted? Generally once it started to load, it took approximately 3-5 seconds. Is travel to any location (planet, Stronghold, Fleet, etc…) hindered? None that i noted travelling between Hutta/Fleet/Stronghold/Grouped Content Are there any issues with the UI such as missing assets or loss of functionality? Same as live. Are there any issues with visuals or sounds with the cinematics? No noted loss of visuals or audio with cinematics noted
  2. Don't like to think of myself as a drama queen but... This is the straw that has finally broken the camels back. I live in Australia like many here (among also fellow Kiwis and other APAC region players) and i simply can not play this game anymore with an unplayable ping of 380-390 living in Perth Australia. I had pre-ordered within 2 minutes of pre-orders going live. I was in the first wave allowed in for early access and played the crap out of this game while i was a student for the first 3 years till SoR came and went. Literally - this game was my day to day or 3 years. I still play every now and again to this day (nowhere near what i had before but still check in and start a new toon every now and again). Still even though i don't play as often i have been a sub literally since Day 1 and it has never lapsed. I started on the Swiftsure, moved to Master Dar Narla when APAC servers came online and then got forcibly moved back to Harbinger. This was all ok. As an aussie (particularly a perth player on the west coast of Australia) i am used to high pings. But this is literally unplayable. This is not a leaving post. I will leave if nothing is done or communicated by years end of a solution to this and am willing to give the game this chance as this is literally the game i met my now wife in. This is the game i met so many friends in. This is the game that made me a jedi, a sith, a scoundrel, a bounty hunter, a spy and a trooper in STAR WARS. However i simply can't afford to continue pay a sub for a game that is literally unplayable for me. I have literally payed over $950US (Approx $1300 in my currency) in sub fees since this game began. This is not including me purchasing at least $350US in cartel coins over the years in addition to the collectors edition of the game i got shipped over from the US. So essentially you are losing myself who has spent at a minimum $1500US on this game along with many other long term APAC players I payed for a six month sub recently - i likely would have let it go month to month had i known this was the plan. I really think at a minimum you need to seriously reconsider reopening the Harbinger on the West Coast at a minimum. It had the population to sustain itself - let it ride and it gives many players the opporunity to actually play the game. Otherwise i fear the last APAC players (of which there are quite a few!) will go.
  3. Hello everyone. Normally i avoid general discussion but i would like to suggest a few things (some of which may have already been suggested so apologies in advance) but here is my view and how i think fixing conquests could work. 1) Fixing Flashpoint Objectives So most agree that something had to be done to stop the battle of ilum farming but at the same time, most also agree that the steps taken in 2.9c were too far making the objectives once per a legacy. My suggestion is simple. Make the staged bonus bosses objectives repeatable but keep the flashpoint completion a non-repeatable. Therefore the stealth option to the end is worthless and it forces participation in the flashpoints and it also somewhat balances out the points as you would only get a maximum of 2000 points for a repeat run of the same flashpoint, especially considering that the bonus boss takes work to get, should be an appropriate reward for 30 minutes work. 2) Have the ability for smaller guilds to get some smaller rewards. Rather then just have the leaderboards as a way to reward guilds, why not create guild personal targets as well for each event. So for example on the most recent event, if a guild gets over 250k points (as an example) over the course of the event, they will get what guilds currently get for placing on the top 10 (minus the flagship plans) while the placing rewards are slightly bumped on the credit certificate and an increase in purple jawa junk. This encourages smaller guilds to participate at least to that target and ensures that they feel that they are at least getting something out of it. An even better system might include multiple tiers of guild targets but surely this at least one guild target for now would be satisfactory in the short to medium term. 3) WZ Participation points This has already been commented on and flagged and i believe it is going the right way. Adjusting the point value of the participation objective down (prehaps in half) is preferred in my opinion is better then completely removing it and adjusting the point value of wins up and adding a win objective to each week that participation is up is also preferential to what it is now. 4) Global Leaderboards This also seemed to at least be addressed at the cantina tour so here is my feedback - i love the idea because especially if it is saved, it can be immortalized for each event as well. Not an immediate priority but most certainly a welcome addition if it was introduced in the future. In short - i would like to say good job Bioware for your work in implementing the current system and as a basis is a fantastic idea that has great potential. However with the upcoming 3.0 expansion at the end of the year, i see it as the ability to hit the reset button and start with these changes and/or other changes that have been suggested in other threads. (Personally would like to see point 1 and 3 implemented ASAP). Thoughts/comments/other suggestions? By far and away not the only valid suggestions and would love to hear other suggestions that may have got lost in another thread.

  5. An update for 2.10. 195 extra points added to Flashpoints for the new flashpoint (won't spoil the name of the FP here - no it is the one AFTER mannan). And that is it. Still, a hefty update for 2.9 in terms of achievements.

  7. Pretty much - all the operation bosses give 50 portraits of the boss you kill as a decoration, as well as the 25x ones in the flashpoints. But yeah, not much outside of the flashpoints and operations tabs. In terms of actual values... We see Overall total available achievements points increasing from 39,645 to 43,445. Operations increasing from 4510 to 5530. Under the new stronghold tab we are seeing two sub-cataegories - Strongholds and Conquest. Strongholds has 1155 and Conquest (the guild cap ship events) have 1400 tied to it, giving it a total of 2555 Finally, an increase in the Flashpoints tab with the mannan FP, adding 230 AP, bringing the total FP tab to 7905

  12. I see that the Exploration Achievement section in Section X is bugged (again) so i think that might explain the 10 point decrease there. No idea about the planetary increase... Maybe a new hidden achievement?

  14. Not exactly right The Double Exp does indeed set the base XP rate at 200%. But a 25% EXP booster is not only added on top of the 200% but is also in fact doubled to 50%. So if you only had base XP and this boost without any additional legacy perks, you would be looking at 250% EXP.
  15. New Achievements from PTS: Rakghoul Resurgence under Events Tab has 800 points total. A new General Tab which is housing the new Life Day achievements is worth 75 points. This brought down my 100% Event stat to 50%.
