  1. Thank the Maker! I love the look of this hilt but when I heard it activate I died a little inside. The dual bladed version and the shoto seem to be fine although none of them seem to hum like other sabers when they are wielded. Additionally, I discovered that the lightsaber sounds fine upon activation in conjunction with a shoto (tested on a marauder) and continues to use the correct activation sound afterwards even if the shoto is unequipped.
  2. I tested 2 of my lvl 60 toons and was not able to enter operations through groupfinder. I could open the gf window, make all the selections I wanted but if the operation was selected it would not put me in groupfinder once I selected Join Queue. Flashpoint queue works fine as long as operations are not selected. I currently have a toon that I leveled from 56 to 59 earlier and they are not experiencing this issue. That toon can successfully enter groupfinder for operations.
  3. NIM now stands for "New Invisible Mode" As was mentioned in the last post, I found that panning the camera up and then back down worked for me if any of the platforms were invisible. Sometimes it only worked for a few platforms before I had to do it again but at least it's a temporary workaround until BW fixes it. Though it just wouldn't be Soa unless it was bugged.
  4. These became visible after 3.3.2 when BW made tweaks to improve frame rates and other visual improvements. These items were always there because some of the mechanics operate using those objects, they were just invisible because it wasn't necessary to see them or interact with them in any way. This is just a bug that got past testing (like soooo many bugs beforehand) and it'll be fixed, eventually...
  5. I agree with a lot of the sentiment expressed in this thread so far. I'm a completionist and was very excited when I started reading about the achievement system that was going to be implemented in 2.0. One of the main reasons for my excitement was the idea that the codex entries that have been bugged since launch (and some in beta) would get fixed because they would be part of this whole new system added to the game. I was extremely disappointed when 2.0 was released and there continued to be holes in this now "featured" part of the game. There are several things about the broken/missing entries that boggle the mind. Creatures listed for one planet that are actually found somewhere else. Races/locations that are entirely unobtainable. Titles that are no longer available but there is still an entry in the codex. For a long time there were datacrons listed for Quesh that were actually found on Corellia (fixed in 1.3 I think). The achievement and legacy systems are a great way fix the deficiencies of the original codex. With the addition of the achievement system, the old codex should have been converted in to a new one that is shared across a player's legacy (along with datacrons). I'm sure it wasn't possible at launch but this is something myself and several other players I know would like to see implemented.
  6. I agree with the above post. I believe that the components are a better system than tokens used in previous events because it rewards the people actually putting time in rather than those that have a ton of credits. I also understand that the mount is meant for "the most dedicated players" but who's to say that a player grinding a single toon through the event every day is more dedicated than someone who has multiple 50s who can only play weekends (they still had to put time in to get them all to 50). Having the components BoL can also be used as a check for the inevitable BW "whoops, that's not what we intended because we didn't take the time to think it through enough before we implemented it." I think the legacy system is great but the little things that BW seems to miss really have me scratching my head at times. It would also be nice if the mount had been on the vendor during the first time the event came around. I bought a bunch of legacy weapons when I had enough rep to get Champion status but if I had known about the mount I would have saved them on a few toons in order to spend them differently. The event is ending on the 26th and the wording of the announcement says that the mount is going away at that time. Will the mount come back later or get replaced with a different one? Is there going to be something bigger and better to spend components on the next time around?
  7. I've been farming this flashpoint for months to try to complete the "Volatile Force" set with no luck on the gloves or boots. Most of the farming I do is solo and every once in a while I've been able to solicit the help of a guildmate (same class) to try to improve the drop rate but I don't think I have ever seen them drop across any of my toons. It's a shame because I really like the look of all the sets (imperial side) that drop from this flashpoint. Kudos to the artists responsible for the sets available from Cademimu. I'm also trying to get the gloves for the Bounty Hunter set but have not seen those drop either. From my experience, the pieces with the lowest (rarest) drop rate are the gloves and boots of Volatile Force, gloves for the Cademimu Ranger set (BH/Trooper), and boots for the medium STR armor (name escapes me at the moment).
  8. Ludo Kressh's war sword used to be obtainable from HK-47 during the HM False Emperor flashpoint. I haven't seen it drop since the HM flashpoint rewards were adjusted after the 1.3 update. Is it still obtainable and just got moved to another flashpoint (story mode maybe) or did they increase the rarity of the drop? I've tried running several of the flashpoints like BoI and FE (both modes) but haven't seen it drop for a very long time.
