  1. No.....Pvp is my thing and it was done horribly in this game
  2. The ability q to 0 will help out some but its very clear this game is so unresponsive. As some have put it the unresponsiveness in this game is worse than all major MMO's and toward the bottom even if compared to free to play games. How sad
  3. Had a friend that I played Rift with preorder the game in September and basically quit SWTOR after he played the beta. Its a very successful launch but the game has so many bugs and is missing so much that it makes you wonder why it was in development for so long.
  4. I wanted so bad for SWTOR to be awesome and for me to be able to tell my friends that didnt come with me "I told you so". After playing for over a week I am taking this game in stride and playing it for what it is. A solo game with the ability to play 3 WZ, and group with people if I want to. Jade Empire made me the biggest Bioware fan and since then they have created some of the best stories in any video game. This isnt as good as many of the others but its still good. I always thought that if they made KOTOR into an MMO it would be awesome. How wrong I was. Still a Bioware fan and there is no way I would ever miss any Mass Effect game but I guess MMO's are a lot harder to create and bring to life than most people ever thought.
  5. Not having official server forums was a big disappointment. If its left up to the player base to create and moderate our own server forums it will undoubtedly fail, as I have seen many pop up already and either people dont post or they spread the player base amongst several. The lack of official server forums voids the player base of any true community and instead pushes us to be less social, and treat the game as a solo experience and less like an MMO. For an MMO this is so fail, and will end up becoming one of the reasons people will beat the story and end up leaving.
  6. As a tank I will never do the highest damage or heal the most but I do fairly good protection and I'm usually at the top of the leader boards with highest medals. Only 1 time have I received more than 1 MVP award. From my experience people usually give the MVP award to the highest DPS even if they are close to the bottom of the boards or to the highest healer. If your Tank did a good job remember that the hits you received were less damaging because of his taunts and your spells also hit harder on a player they put sundering strike on.
  7. Not only that but when people choose the MVP they usually pick the person that gets the highest DPS. Ive been on top of the Charts meaning I did very good protection as a tank and completed a lot of objectives but still people hardly ever give me the MVP commendations. It usually goes to the person that treated the WZ like a deathmatch game. So far it seems like Deathmatching the WZ's is the way to go.

    Zoom Out

Maybe its an oversight on my part. I knew there was no way I was zoomed out as far as I could possibly be. Thanks going to go to preferences now

    Zoom Out

I PVP a lot and being aware of my surroundings is very important. The zoom out only lets you zoom out a fraction of that of other MMO's I have played. Its like BW wants you to be focused real close but that is a downfall in WZ. Being so close also makes it hard for me as a melee class because people move around so much and sometimes its hard to keep track of the where the person went and this isnt more evident in huttball when the person jumps into the vortex. Does anyone else thing we should be allowed to zoom out further than we currently can?
  10. In Voidstar if you are on the attacking side and kill players at a steady stream there should always be a defender waiting for you at the next door. The problem lies when you are at a door and kill the whole team or a large group of players together, then you can rush to the next door with almost no one there to defend. I have been in two games where we got the second door, third door, and core almost instantly. It doesnt help any that a lot of players think its a Deathmatch game and they decide to stay behind attacking stragglers when they should be focusing on defending the next objective. It will probably get fixed
  11. Bolstering like that done in SWTOR and Bracketing WZ by levels like in Rift are not the same thing
  12. SWTOR is by far the least responsive game I have played in a long time. Selecting the 0.0 advanced skill q time makes it a little better but its still horrible.

    Huttball is crap

Bioware games are all about the story. Same faction WZ in Voidstar and Alderaan would be pointless when it comes to the story. I hope they never implement this. If you are still getting a lot of huttball WZ you are in a far less balanced server than you think. The thing I would support would be the option to choose youre WZ. If people want to wait in a q for long times that is their option. Bioware could ensure all WZ are played by making a pvp daily be a different WZ every day
  14. Quit telling Republic to come to Veela. I love my instant Qs. Veela is going to have a beast PVP scene when more people reach lvl 50 but we are full and dont need more people to grow our login times.
  15. I wish there was some way to make everything balance but without the PVP stat, Raiders would own in PVE and PVP. I dont have time to dedicate to raids and plus I love PVP much more so until there is a better solution there definitely has to be a PVP stat
