This all seems to have gotten a little out of hand which was not my original intention. My opinion is I dont want to play a game I can out level in 3 weeks and then have very little to do afterwards. If it takes you monthes to level a 50 your a social gamer, nothing wrong with that at all, but thats not me. I dont live in front of my pc to play the game and I can still level a 50 in 3 weeks, again thats just me. Why would I wait to March to purchase the game I've read so much about when I can buy it monthes earlier from another country? Transfers were always going to be an option just the criteria wasnt very good. Why destroy a created Legacy by moving some toons and not all of them? Its not a personal attack on anyone, my comments are based on what I dont like about the game and what I think in my mind needs improving. When it becomes personal I butt out so sorry you'll have to flame someone else because I'am not in the least bit interested in making your day. Thanks Bioware for a great game, lets hope it has the longevity it deserves.

No you missed my point, the content from day one should be enough to last a lot longer than 3 weeks to max a toons level. The content from the updates should have been there in the first place and not given as an extra bonus. What I'am trying to say is dont give me something I should have had in the first place. I think we should have bug fixes but not major updates after 5 monthes. I dont consider myself a hardcore gamer or a casual gamer, like I said I work and I have kids but its only taken me 3 weeks to hit 50 on several occasions. I know people who have more 50's than me and have made 50 in 9 days so I'am not as involved as them. I dont play WoW anymore, I havent in almost a year now and I have no intention in going back, ever. Blizz killed the game and omg Panda's...are you serious, but thats another topic about another game. I dont want this game to be the same as WoW because what would be the point in playing it? I do want my gaming experience to last longer than 5 monthes but its too early to be adding things that we should have had in the first place. I'am sorry you dont see my point but your entitled to your opinion, as I'am mine, and thank you for voicing a different outlook on the topic.

I agree mate, it breaks my heart too. I love the game and had such high hopes for it but its slowly imploding.

I hated the achievement system in WoW, if you didnt have what was asked for you couldnt run that instance. If I cant run it how do I get the achievement to do it? I never understood that. Sure it kept some bad players out of your group but again if you werent guilded and didnt want to be you were screwed. I dont see how thats beneficial, a bad player wont get better if he cant play. Then theres the Legacy system, I get one piece of gear that doesnt scale with me whilst I level like Heirloom gear in another game. If I want additional Legacy gear I have to do dailies 24 hours a day 7 days a week virtually to get enough commendations to buy a token to buy another piece...that doesnt scale. Or I can buy the orange gear un-modded for the most ridiculous over exaggerated prices you'll ever see. why is this gear so expensive, whats the point? Then thiers the Legacy abilities, wow great idea to do a bit of cross training damage I thought and a just reward for playing the game more. Yep, for one whole minute every 20 minutes I get to use them, seriously why bother? Then theres the Legacy goodies I can buy from 500,000 credits to well over 1,000,000 credits....like the target dummies. Mega expensive and they just sit there and do nothing. For the credits wanted I thought they would be like the target dummies on Tython and give me a bit of a challenge but no...asking too much there. I'll just use the ones on the fleet for free thanks. Sure no one plays the game to boost thier Legacy, its something you get for nothing really, but when its been boasted as a major feature it fails, it really does. Someone at Bioware needs to stop and think about what thier doing. If they listened to us the gamers then maybe some of my concerns wouldnt be here, I know others think the same and you cant keep everyone happy. But theres a difference between common sense and keeping everyone happy.

Level 50 is some pvp, dailies that are ok to start with but lose thier appeal quickly like most dailies in any game do, thinking about datacron hunting but not sure if the time invested is worth the outcome, all my crew skills hit level 400 at level 40, hmmm....thats about it. Yes I'am in a guild, a US guild, I'am an Aussie so the time difference means I dont raid with them or too many others these days. I have 2 level 50 Empire toons made before Feb.28th so they were the only 2 I could transfer thanks to Biowares stupid curfew date which still appalls me. The 50's I have now that I actually do play, I'am now soley a Republic player, didnt qualify because they werent created by the mentioned date. So I can go raid with 2 toons I dont play anymore or I can stay on a US server with no one around and play the toons I enjoy playing. Sure theres a thread here today about transfers coming up, paid of course, but thats not until another couple of monthes. So I'am leveling 2 more toons through the same quests again, one even through the same storyline as I already have a Shadow and am now giving a Sage a try. An automatic LFG option would help so I could at least do some Flashpoints or Ops, the system we have atm isnt even worth mentioning but Bioware seem to think this is the best way to group players up. And you know not everyone wants to join a guild and have thier game impacted by other players. Not everyone wants the crap, for a better word, that sometimes associates with guild politics and friendships. Sure its a mmo, you play with other players to progress, but I dont think everyone wants the other side of the coin either.

Well I dont need good luck as it turns out and I must have jumped through all the hoops because checking my ingame mail today there he was. He wasnt there after the patch or this morning but his running around behind me now so all is good with the world again....for now.

I'am in my 40's, age that is, I work fulltime and have my kids every second weekend. I dont think I play that much but to level a 50 in 3 weeks is not so good. That other game's end content at 60 I cant answer, when I hit 60 the first expansion came out so I had 10 more levels to go. But when I did get there the game really started, there was so much to do it was like starting all over again to a point. I played that game for 5 years, maybe I'am being too harsh here, but I just think its far too short and with nothing to go onto. I can pvp until I'am blue in the face, I refuse to play Hutball anymore I'am so over it and I'am not even a pvp player. I did it for something to do. Now the new style of pvp is instead of trying I'll just stand next to everyone else at a target and get defense points..fun times indeed. I just want more out of my game and I dont think its good in less than 6 monthes we're being hand fed extras in the form of patches for something to do. Give me more to do at the start and I wont need these extra goodies, I should already have had them from day one.

I'am on a US server and been playing since launch. The only pets I've seen are the purchasable ones from the CE edition vendor. So I qualify well and truely, my Legacy is over 20 so thats not an issue either.

You know, everyone has thier opinion on the game, we all love parts of it, we dont like some parts but we keep playing because hey its Star Wars. The game has only been out 5 monthes now and thats my issue with it. I can level a 50 in 3 weeks. We've had 2 major updates since launch, all this in a game not even 6 monthes old. What is going to be the longevity of the game? End game content is not much compared to other online games so the only thing to do is level another alt. I have 3 50's and 4 30's, other people have a lot more 50's than me but gee after awhile doing the same missions becomes, well, boring. Then I hit 50 to do......not much. Theres one mmo everyone has played, it took me around 3 monthes to hit level 60, the top level back then, and it evolved into something where once you hit maximum level the game just really started. It kept you going once you fully leveled. Recent updates/expansions/pending expansion have killed it but my point is I dont want something I can finish in 3 weeks then I have to do it all over again just to fill in time. I think our game is to easy to be honest or it needs longer content. I dont want to see a grind fest that will take me a week to reach next level but something that will keep me wanting to go back for more that I wont even notice how much more xp I need to next level. The game is good but it needs to be better.

When are we getting our free Tauntaun pet? Does anyone know? Someone said it had been delayed because of the Oceania server transfers, well thats over now.

Ok so I'll try Tharan and see how it goes. The only time I used him when I was on my Shadow was for the very last boss fight, no spoiler, other than that it was Qyzen all the way. But naturally Sage is different, I used Mako and Elara right through on my BH/Commando respectively and found survivability was never an issue just downing targets took a litle longer. So really, as a dps class no matter which one, the healer companion option seems to be a better choice than a tank/dps one.

My mistake I forgot to mention I'am Balance spec so dps and not heals. So Tharan instead of Qynzen then until Nadia at the end?

Just a quick companion question, I used Qyzen right through on my Shadow to 50. Now I'am leveling a Sage do I use him again right through or is there another option like Tharan? Thanks for any help.
