  1. I'm still confused on why this clear abuse of something not intended to be done was not fixed. Is Bioware not able to figure out what they are doing? I've seen a few of these assassin/sage bots right when they were created at 65. They enter the gravestone in some chapter and never leave it. They go the whole way up to lvl 70 without ever leaving. Which means whatever they are doing rewards XP. Which also means they are either killing mobs or completing a quest/the chapter. The question then becomes, how can they endlessly complete a bonus quest or kill mobs when you have to leave to reset it? Clearly they are exploiting something to reset it or found a way to make a mob respawn endlessly to kill. There is a big difference though between bots just farming regular crap vs exploiting to gain credits at a possibly very high rate.
  2. Thing with heroics is that you need to group with other people and you are capped on the amount of heroics. Bots also don't farm this because it would be much harder to do than hitting slicing nodes 24/7. Not counting bots inflating the economy with them. The main issue is for making credits why use any other gathering profession when slicing nodes slaughters them all? Why do any dailies when you can make tons more from slicing nodes? You don't think this is broken game design? The gathering professions should all be balanced with each other. Slicing shouldn't be light years ahead. Slicing nodes should be an option because you just want to do that farming style not because it gives so many credits.
  3. Prior to 4.1 slicing nodes gave a white quality lockbox and you got 1 extra if your slicing skill was high vs the node level. If you got lucky you might receive a green or blue quality lockbox from a node which gave more credits. You received about 3k-5k on average from a high level node. After 4.1 every node now gives the blue quality lockbox which has the highest amount of credits. On top of that if your skill level is high nodes are giving up to 2 additional blue quality lockboxes. You receive about 12k-14k on average from a high level node. Is this actually intended or just a screw up? If this is intended then I don't know what you devs are thinking. This is no where near balanced with the rest of the game. The amount of value you get from hitting a slicing node is way beyond the value of other gathering professions. Even more so because slicing is pure credits vs getting materials that you need to craft or put in more work to sell on the GTN. Hitting a slicing node is like completing a daily quest right now with the difference being a daily takes significantly longer/more work to complete. Also Yavin has tons of spawns that spawn in a way so that there is endless slicing nodes. The new ones on Zakuul don't have these endless spawns. Slicing nodes is the top option now for getting credits and the hell with everything else. Lets also not forget credits were removed from chests because bots were annihilating them. These slicing nodes make chests with credits look like nothing. They were about fine prior to 4.1 but now they are just ridiculous.
