  1. Please, widen your angle a bit. Imagine it were the other way around. Fleet -> Planet is just as annoying. In this case you have to go through the Orbital Stations, Class Airlocks, Airlocks. For what? Oh, right - "immersion".
  2. Yeah man. I don't know when you started playing. But I started like 1 month after launch and I know that I could simply /join Orgrimmar - General from wherever I was. So.. So I'm just stand in Fleet while spamming the LFG for members? That could take a really long time. Wouldn't you rather do something of substance while waiting? You'd have to set it to Windowed mode, start an episode of American Dad and then alt-tab into the game every 10-20 seconds to see if you got an invite or a reply.
  3. This is preposterous and I hope that you're being sarcastic here. No where have I ever suggested this, and no way would they every implement this. If you're trying to diminish my points of discussion then bravo - I'm sure fanboys will lol with you at your wall-of-text post, nodding their heads in agreement. Your post is 70% nonsense, much alike some of the so called "features" in this game, which is ironically fitting. That said, I read your entire post and commend your resolve.
  4. Been waiting for like 30 minutes now... It's so annoying!
  5. I was, and there was a distinct difference. You could be in the Un'Goro Crater, and still "log into" the Orgrimmar General/Trade and LFG-chat. Something you cannot do here.
  6. You raise good and valid points, Traumahawk. But I would like to argue that the term "design" covers more than just cool features, nice animations and a good story line. It also covers the function of said game, how everything inside the game synergizes with itself. Many of these features do not seem to function well with eathother and, for many, creates a frustrating environment. To wrap it up I'd say: The game has nice features, but the design in many of them is flawed. Yes. In this case it is. If I want immersion; I can stay and watch the cinematics and the traveling. If I don't, I could either space-bar through it all or leave the keyboard, get a drink and get back when it's done. I bet you've never skipped through a single conversation, am I right? I know how you love "immersion" and all. Really? That's what you think you're doing? You're just spouting out nonsense, kiddo. Some people can't be bothered to argue or even read your comments. It does not mean you're smashing anything.
  7. Does it matter? For the record, yes - we are on the same page: It's effing annoying.
  8. But in a video game, I should be having fun right? Love this post.
  9. Told you guys. They either love their Empire, or they coded the game really stupid and unfair towards them.
  10. I leveled to 50 just using the lvl 25 mount. The rest are huge money sinks, don't buy into them. As to this day, I still haven't got the lvl 50 mounts.
  11. Jedi Shadow: Used Guard on a Scoundrel, then I unused it on him, then I used it on another person, then I tried to use it on the first person again (Scoundrel) and it said he was already guarded. I'm fairly sure that's what happened. The process was really quick, less than 10 seconds
  12. And say I want to go from Fleet to a Planet? Do I take the Planet Shuttle then as well, to land directly on the planet? Or do I have to go through all those torturing aforementioned steps?
  13. Sigh.. another fanboy come to bash a perfectly good and valid complaint. Fine, I hear you. But all that assumes that you're close to a taxi or a shuttle and your Quick Travel isn't on CD. Besides, I can tell that you haven't progressed much in game. Because I know for a fact that many planets require you to click Orbital Station. (Try Tython for example) And for funsies - here's also a stupid scenario for you: Alright! Just completed the objective in the really deep cave. Let's go back! Okay.. A fleet shuttle. Ok let's see which one is the closest.. Alright there. I'll just use my Quick Tra-- GAH! It's on cooldown. I guess I'll have to use my moun- oh right, I'm not lvl 25 yet. Guess I'll take use of my Sprint abili- oh wait, I'm not lvl 14 yet. I guess I'll have to walk. Okay, see how frustrating this could get? Just want to say that yes, I'm level 50. Also, that time estimate included traveling time to find your closest shuttle.
  14. Okay.. yes but that'd first require me to purchase a smartphone - correct? So I'm to pay umteen ammount of currency in order to have an decent traveling time in an MMORPG?
