  1. I always hate hearing tales of people's misfortune. I feel awful on your behalf.
  2. Oh my god this is too funny. Op is whining because he didn't get what he wanted. Now look, I didn't look through all of your countries/ States little rules about gambling, but if you went and bought 38 lottery tickets, and didn't win the jackpot, would you phone your mayor or the store complaining and whining that you didn't win? Grow up.
  3. I thank the OP who puts his guard on healers, it's a great idea. I always guard the healer and I always get guarded as the healer. Considering the healers job is to heal, if the DPS pulls agro for a few moments, depending on the situation, it's barely a problem, he'll be up to full in a few seconds and the tank will regain agro. As a healer, I always heal others first before myself, I usually only heal myself when I'm around 40%, otherwise I slowly heal up by doing my AOEs. The guard really does help me out, on BT HM, with all the large groups, I manage to get a lot of trash on me, but when I have the skilled tanks who know when and who to put there guard on, they usually keep it on me for the trash, so I don't have to panic. They do switch guard onto the DPS for boss fights and maybe a few golds here and there, that helps me out more than if it were on me, in that situation, because as a merc healer, I have a MUCH easier time with focused healing.
  4. I'm going to try to stay unbiased here. Spiderman has his "spider sense" and Vader has the force, so both parties has a way of predicting the future/ sensing danger or what have you. So we can consider them equal there, both have a sort of ranged attack ( Spiderman has his webs, can slingshot rocks or other objects. Vader has the Force, he can also throw objects around.) Spiderman obviously has agility on his side, but that's not to say Vader's a completely immobile, he's got his force jump, speed, and could take more hits from Spidey than Spidey could take from Vader. So far it seems mostly equal if you assume that their ranged attacks are equal, and Spideys speed is equal to Vader's strength. For close-quarters, Vader wins hands down, obviously with his lightsaber, but even without his saber, I believe he would still crush Spidey, he is mostly robot after all. Now let's set some scenarios, let's say in an abandoned building. This would fit Spidey well, using guerilla like tactics, hitting Vader a couple times and then retreating into the shadows or behind walls. Vader would likely start brewing down walls in an attempt to stop this, but I believe this would be Spideys best shot at killing Vader. But on a 1 on 1 environment , mono a mono, flat surfaces, just them in their glory, Vader would win. Considering the reflexes of a Sith, any attempts of face-web-blinding would be laughed away with a flick of Vader's wrist. Spideys only chance would be keeping his distance, but using his web would be less than useless. His only chance would be to get in close, try to disarm him and then proceed, but I believe Vader would best him this situation, and most other situations.
  5. LoTRO has that goin' on, and honestly, it adds to the game a bit more (unless you're one of those people who doesn't have a lot of time), I always do the bonuses, bonus series', and get all the datacrons/holocrons from a planet, just for something to do, but if there was an award ( even if it was as little as a few cartel coins ) I would definitely be more apt to do those unnecessary things. I would understand if people didn't like this, but hey, it's not mandatory and it's a way to give the F2P players a way to "buy" the features they don't get. I would really like to see this in the game.
  6. How is slicing useless? I crit 25% of the time, and those mission discoveries are, depending on the day, anywhere from 10k-20k. With the lock box missions you get your money back from the lockboxes, and with the tech parts, if you do crit, the purple parts pay for your next 20 missions.
  7. Just something to think about, when I use Force speed ( or whatever it's called ) I can run by or even through a group of enemies ninety percent of the time. That's only at 150% speed for two seconds. If the speeders were at 200-300% like a few recommended, with the slight protection from falling off the speeder, you could flawlessly zoom through enemies. Okay, I admit this is mostly some rambling about one aspect, but I doubt BW wants you to go through everything that fast.
