  1. Make a Krayt Dragon toon. We dominate warzones and ilum if we have anywhere close to their numbers. Most of the imps on our server are Tracer(BH) or Lightning(sorc) monkeys. The lack of skill required to just smash one button over and over has made most of them incredibly bad in group or solo scenarios... Lol you interrupt TM or FL and they stand there for 4 secs wondering what to do. There are however a small hand full of very talented imperials over there that are near impossible to beat even vastly outnumbered but they use more than 1 button and teamwork with vent n stuff. I'm convinced that those spam classes were designed for "slower" people to make them feel competitive but are very deadly in the hands of the very few and skilled players that you can immediately identify because they actually very rarely use those abilities. BS aside though... republic seems much stronger on Krayt Dragon although vastly outnumbered.
  2. Most of the BM squads on my server just roll long enough to get their wins and then you don't see them anymore. We only ever lose when we run into the pre-made squads. Pre-mades are pretty much non-existent for republic, it just isn't necessary for us since our numbers are so few we always play with the same people. I usually quit after my daily wins as well though so i honestly don't know how the rest of the time goes. I definately don't hear the squealing in general anymore about how OP the imps are though so it must go pretty well. faction imbalance is still what i'm sticking to though. I'm on Krayt Dragon and its one of the highest pop servers but its 3 to 1 imperials. This hurts the imps in warzones but helps them in ilum. *edit..just wanted to add, a faction pop cap rather than a server pop cap would fix alot of the balance over time.. "Were sorry. you cannot create an empire character on this server at this time. Try creating a Republic character or please try another server. Thank you" < lol i wish
  3. The extreme initial gear imbalance that existed when the imps "ran the table" is gone. And now there is a lot of fresh 50 imperials and fewer numbers of pubs period so generally pubs have the gear and experience advantage now because its only a handful of them pvping versus usually 3 times the imps pvping. Faction imbalance is the greatest contribution. Just run a pre-made like most imps do now to get your wins...if you don't you will likely lose to the pretty much 8 man pre-made they run because theres only 8 of them pvping lol.
  4. Check out sithwarrior.com , alot of theory crafting has been done showing Deep balance 5/5/31 to be the highest overall sustained dps. about 20% more than deep infiltration 5/31/5 or 2/31/8. Imo for pve it is by far the best. especially when fights involve mobile targets as a great portion of you're dps is lost in infiltration when you're simply not in melee range and is made up by the dots which are constantly ticking in balance. Same goes for pvp but i will say Infil personally is more fun to play becuase of the burst damage to single targets...but because of FIB you will likely see greater overall damage numbers as balance as well...its just a little less gratifying than 5 shotting a single target.

I love it... i have in multiple games held a single turret against 6 attackers using a balance shadow giving us easy 3 caps with the new 0 cooldown force breach which applies a 18 second dot...i can just tab target and dot over and over then die and take the speeder right back and rinse and repeat. Same goes for voidstar doors. lol 2 good shadows could defend both doors duo against a full 8 man squad with good defensive cooldown/cloak usage.
  6. Ummm..oooookaaay...??? So where and when the hell is 1.2? If you seriously plan to leave the system the way it until then you do realize you wont have a good player base by then right? PVP in its current state is excruciatingly broken due to the daily only system. This can be fixed overnight with a simple vendor re-write to make the bags buyable or champion comms tradeable for battlemstaer commendations. I refuse to play beyond 3 wins now and refuse to stay in a losing match because EVERYONE else does the same. Seriously...WOW!!! The logic behind this is elementary...bordering insanity or retardation.

Also i encourage everyone who has not received the 25% to flood their phone lines and demand they give you the Commendations to bring it to 25% or you will quit...perhaps that will light a fire under their asses to get this **** changed...Obviously the only people not absolutely furious about this system are the ones who have received near 50% drop rates and sit there giggling about it. Use the phones because the ticket system is copy/paste monkeys and is a non-existant joke. Ya Immadbro.
  8. ^This. The logic behind this system is so stupid it borders insanity and warrants developer firing. They think they are "smart" in their logic to keep people in the content until they release new content but it effectually creates mass quitting problems and unnacceptable pvp ques due to people ONLY playing to complete dailies and ONLY staying for wins... uhhhduuuhhduuhhdaaauuurp. This ruins pvp beyond valor 60 and utterly DESTROYS endgame pvp. If they hope to keep people around for their grand 1.2 plans they better change the battlemaster system NOW...rofl i ONLY log on now togrind my 2 bags to get nothing and be furious for an hour then log. I'm on the verge of not logging on period. 3/43 Comms in bags..25% my ***...while others run around a week after 60 with 3 or 4 new peices cause they went 10/12...aaduuuhhduuhhh daaaauuurp!
  9. Of course we play it because we enjoy it. but the motive driving most people to play any mmo or rpg is gear/item acquisition. I'm a firm believer that the depth of any rpg is based on the depth of item acquisition. when do you stop playing single player rpgs? when you have everything.... Why do people keep playing mmos? cause they add new stuff to get....lolz but outside of that main desire to obtain things of course we enjoy it in the process. but those saying "if you pvp for gear you shouldn't pvp" are mistaken...while that might be their reason its clearly not the case for the majority of players since we have the obvious issue that's spamming the forums. Lets work to help with a fix..not suggest why people should or shouldn't play the game because to each their own...

How so? by all means kick inactive players, but above all things give players reason to play beyond winning 3 games a day. how can this do anything but fix what is obviously affecting a a lot of people or there wouldn't be pages of threads on it. What will kill this game is if something is not done about it. BW will do something i'm sure....all about the benjamins.
  11. I completely understand this prospective as a leveling character which is a very similar mindset to why people leave because of the dailies. I think in you're case may be worse though since you do at least net some exp for losing o.O You might need the debuff since you're quitting just because and not that its relative to the quest Nevertheless its all due to game design at this point so i honestly don't blame anyone who quits. They just need to fix it up a bit.
  12. Yeh, that would've been nice. I will say this tho since you're still grinding for 60. Go slowly because when you get there you're incentive to keep playing is gone...well maybe 65 for the mount but really once your dailies are done you'll do 5-6 warzones throughout the day/night, maybe help a friend grind their daily and that's about it for now, until tomorrow! I hope there will be arenas or something along those lines. Competitve pvp would help alot for playing beyond the dailes as well.
  13. At this point a 60+ bracket would be non-existant if it existed. Lol ques would never pop except right after the daily/weekly was obtainable. Not a good answer.
  14. I do enjoy it personally, and i do play more than just to get my dailies for that reason alone. but point being i understand why people quit. Its about the gear(BM bags) and how its acquired(ONLY Dailies/Weeklies). I suffer a lot from this hence my reason for even coming to the forums to post. I hope to help find an ultimate solution so everyone as a whole will play more often, whatever their reasons gear or pure enjoyment. I see the underlying problem and i think a lot of others do as well since its in almost every thread at this point.
  15. ^ This is good. Still having greater incentive would keep people playing more period past the 3 daily wins.
