  1. Hellos, This has possibly been posted before, but as i think it's a fun and PvP-boosting (and at the same time very unlikely to happen as BW doesn't care) idea i'd like to hear what you think. I think that Bioware should organize various kinds of PvP-tournaments, which truly unique "time-and-money-can't-buy"-prizes! I remember back in the good old days playing Everquest, where the EQ-staff was highly invloved in the gameplay. There were arena tournaments, "first-to-kill"-events etc etc, which was revarded with very cool prizes, such as unique titles, cool-looking (but useless) gear etc. It would be pretty cool to see a class "Best of the Best" kind of tournament, where you would gain a cool title. Also some team-based tournament with equal rewards. Of course this could also apply to the PvE-content - for instance the first person to acquire the new companion would get something.
  2. I've played mostly Watchman which i enjoyed a lot. After 1.4, i specced to Focus. I seem to do more DPS with Focus than with Watchman, but it's not nearly as fun as you always look for big chunks of Imps to smash. I have never tried Combat. Is it a fun specc? I heard the burst is nice but the survivability is quite bad.
  3. Hi, Im not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes: I recently purchased a Logitech G600 MMO-mouse. I play a Sentinel as main so it really helped with the keybindings, having 12 buttons at the thumb. But lately, i have encountered a very annoying problem. My key bindings for the mouse tends to reset all of a sudden. From have my buttons ranged from 1-12, they are all of a sudden identical to the Numpad. This means that i have to re-bind all keys. I use the same 1 keyset out of 4 possible from the mouse (you can switch between 4), so i guess its some button combo or something. Thankful for any reply.
  4. Valid idea, but i don't think it would work too well as the very many premades in the non-ranked PvP queue to faceroll noob-PuGs for easy commendations, valor etc. Premade vs premade = ranked PvP
  5. Anyone else who has been staying by the blown up door in Voidstar, slaying Imps/Reps? Then you must have noticed how poorly looped the alarm thingy is. It's probably too much to ask of Bioware to correct it though, at least to extend the loops. I'm sure it's not intended to sound like it does.
  6. So what would be the optimal build for PvP given the changes in 1.4? Please post your favorite and give some explanation to it.
  7. I wonder if Force Sweep now executes better. Before your damage could be very delayed but it seems to have been corrected - confirm? Also, i would like to think what you think of Focus in general now. I for one am pretty keen on leaving Watchman for Focus if it's indeed a better tree now.
  8. 1. So throw in all the mods from those gloves in all your gear save for lightsabers, chest and head 2. What 3 pieces of armor? Chest and head? Or just 3 random pieces? Then i dont need to put the headgear mods/augs in 3 of the pieces, instead use Force-Mystic for 3 pieces?
  9. So it seems as if Sentinels will remain as they are in 1.4 - when a lot of other classes seems to get hit a small nerf bat. There might of course be some more changes coming before 1.4 is final, but i would be surprised if they revealed more major balancing changes after this post: http://www.swtor.com/info/news/blog/20120904 What do you guys think about this? I never thought Sentinels/Maruders should be nerfed to start with, the only thing i wanted them to address was the animation delay on Force Sweep.
  10. I'm using the Legacy chest, it looks quite different from the hoodies.
  11. Well in general i think that PRIO 1 should ALWAYS be the healer(s). If that would gain consensus amongst the PuGers we would see way better matches. It's also easy to find the healers, rather than looking for the high DPS-classes that facemelts your own healers (although very important). Marking healers = basic
  12. I really doubt that most of the PuGs are even checking what class they are attacking, and even less their HP/Exp.
  13. The last few PuGs I've played I've been amazed by how random idiots COMPLETELY IGNORE marked up healers or other priority targets. Like at a recent Alderaan when we were battling for the final middle node. The Imps had two healers healing everyone as well as cross-healing themselves. These healers were market with "target" and "star", and despite numerous calls in the chat no one attacked them. This is all but an isolated incident. Sure, most PuGs are complete ******* and i'm better off playing with guildie pre-mades, but even a semi-blind retarded monkey would understand the importance of marked targets, something that really swings any WZ to ones advantage.
  14. Hellos, I'm slow and steadily getting to my full WH-gear, and as the new PvP-gear probably is in a galaxy far, far away i'm looking to really tweak the current WH-gear with the best possible mods. Now, i've heard that top-end Sent PvP-ers are using various WH gear mods and slotting them differently. I need some enlightenment on what to do here. Is there a certain WH-piece i want to buy excessively for the mods? I'm Watchman specced. Also, i've seen some good Sentinel PvP-ers running around in Black Hole gear in PvP - is that a good idea at all?
