So yeah for people who are asking the same questions here, short answer don't worry about rerolling! Will have to wait if you chose the DS flirt but its not a character killer! Oh and I keep seeing this question too. The flirt you get on Ord Mantell (as far as I remember isn't darksided anyway) is irrelevant to the flag issues so that doesn't effect the problem.

Wait until tuesday maintenance patch before getting uppity about them not patching it. I highly doubt they are able to fix things like quests and storyline live. The live patch was most likely graphical related, but there were no notes so who knows *shrug*

Just wanted to add, I've been worried that it did not fix it in the long run and there were more broken flags. After that spurt of dialogues I had nothing for ages, however as soon as I finished chapter 1 I got another batch of dialogues including a companion quest. To anyone out there who uses my suggested 'fix' and finds you do not get any quests for awhile, it is most likely due to you have a relatively high affection. This causes you to automatically get ALL of the dialogues at once. Dialogues are unlocked through two triggers, one being levels of affection and the other being certain events in game, like you could have full affection and fulfill the criteria for any dialogue but until you reach a certain part of your class storyline nothing will happen. This actually makes a lot of sense as many of the dialogues reference in game events and would not make sense without the second trigger. Its just irrating if you always use kira and never use T7 because you gain 'too much' affection

if you skip that one you can chose a non DS flirt later. the romance system is perfectly fine for me and i didnt choose that flirt option

I think I have found the bad flag. From reading the old threads and playing JK twice on the beta and now in early access I can say the following things with reasonable confidence. No points vs dark side made a difference. Major spoilers for Kira storyline: Obviously there are flag errors, I doubt your choice of words is supposed to block conversation attempts with her. I can't say for sure how many bad flags there are but I can say that avoiding the choices I mentioned above will help you out! Lesson is avoid the DS flirt (even if you are darkside, its only 50 points).
