  1. The mouse pointer is almost unusable on a 4k screen as its so small and cannot be increased in the interface options. Surprisingly, running the game at 1080p, does not increase the size of the cursor either. Maybe its connected to windows settings -which I've tried to adjust, but with no success ingame. With prevalence of 4k monitors now becoming commonplace, it really needs options to enlarge it significantly.
  2. Can I have a Death Star please? I'm not talking about no moon, I mean a weapon of mass destruction with a full compliment of troops, orderlies and space fighters. Bristling with turrets and a weak spot right where it hurts! You send that to my mailbox, please. Hugs, Your biggest, +1, fan.
  3. Could this be a Vsync issue? Is the only idea I can offer with so little info to go on. A screenshot would help.
  4. We need a vendor that sells companion customizations for BOTH Empire and Republic companions! -which are currently unavailable to opposite factions and going to waste. I have a Bounty Hunter and love T7 droid companion, but I am unable to purchase the security key vendor item for him, though I have a security key. I cannot purchase this item because it is bind-on-pickup and only sold from the Republic Fleet vendor. This is the same for the vendor on illum/belsavis. With companion customization restricted as it is now, allowing us to use whats already there would be a step in the right direction. I'd prefer to be able to customize the armor on all my companions however. Clone Wars, this is not!
  5. Given the new films and the fresh interest in Star Wars, imagine the media reaction if it was announced a Star Wars product was closing down? I just can't see it happening. I think Bioware are just trying to take things in a new fresh direction. Dare I say it, this is a NGE, but done subtly.
  6. I ran into another issue with customisation of companions... I'm a Imperial player and I want to customise T7-01 with one the security key vendor custom for him. I can't, as its bind on pickup and only available from the security vendor on Pub fleet. I fear this might be the same of all customizations for Pub companions? I'be not had time to check yet.
  7. Ah ok. Thanks Thats really bad tbh. I enjoy the game and exploring. I'd rather not fast travel and miss out on all that fun.
  8. Thanks for the reply. So there is a normal quest symbol, a yellow one? Doesn't appear to be marked on the map from distance. Or listed in the mission Terminal. Either of which would help! Feels like I'm looking for one individual on a whole planet -while being mute as I can't ask anyone if they've heard of him.
  9. Am I being stupid here, or is there no waypoint for Alliance Recruitment Alerts? I've turned up at Yavin-4 looking for a Mr Talos Drelek. No idea where to start looking! Or now, if its even possible to find him without fast travelling. I fast travelled to recruit Cmdr Pearce and it was was terrible. After the loading screen I was standing in front of him. Not really the experience I was hoping for.
  10. Watching a video is no comparison to the feeling of momentum you get from playing. They are nothing alike. I can understand your dislike of WS, its very niche. But they have got mount animation and movement spot-on. Hoverboards have momentum, they drift slightly depending on your speed. They bounce from gravity when jumping, dropping or collisions, and they have a slight bobbing motion when stationary. All in all, it just feels right. It looks and feels as you would expect a hovering thing to...err... feel. (PS, I'm from the future, I know these things )
  11. Posting to say I agree. Making companions thematic for my character with gear and weapons was great fun. I hate to look like a clone, its utterly immersion breaking. I don't really use the new companions because of the lack of customisation and diversity.
  12. I'm personally really enjoying SWTOR, sure it has its faults, but don't all games? I just can't stand the character movement and especially the speeders. Its something we have to do so often, pretty much all the time in fact; its jarring and makes me feel like I'm back in the 90's. Its rigid and there is no feeling, no momentum, no gravity to it. I was wondering if this has been mentioned as something that might see improvement in the future? You've only to look at something like Wildstar to see how fluid mounts can be.
  13. I don't quite follow your question. I'm not complaining, it doesn't really effect me. But I do feel sooner or later what games companies are doing will come under scrutiny and that may not go well for them, which effects us and our enjoyment of the service they provide. As for the game itself, I quite enjoy it! Hopefully that covers everything. EDIT: Adding to the above: I will note that I don't see any pleasure in what there doing either. People don't seem to enjoy it, they don't even enjoy opening the crates, or so it seems. It is after all, pure skinner box psychology to feed peoples addiction and encourage more spending. No one can argue its done because 'it makes a good game experience'.
  14. Definition of Gambling: 1. play games of chance for money; bet. 2. take risky action in the hope of a desired result. It very much is gambling. And while I'm not complaining(I have self control), I think games makers have taken a very bad path in this decision. One which in the end can only end badly for everyone.
  15. I've just updated AVG(virus software) and now playing SWTOR again. I was having the issue where clicking play, closed the client. It was immediately fixed after AVG update and pc restart.
