  1. Going all PVE would not increase your healing output. You should instead do a hybrid. There is no reason not to be wearing Elite War hero relics of boundless ages. 120 power and 60 expertise is a no brainer. You can also wear PVP implants and earpieces for a very small stat loss. Going all PVE is just dumb. you will never survive against a good team no matter how much peeling your guildies do.
  2. There is when things like Smash Spec Jugg/Mara obviously need a nerf and new abilities/armor will not change that fact.
  3. Not even close. Even if all the PT did was guard the healer and taunt he would be more useful than half the team. Not even gonna bring up oil slick or the fact that having jet charge and pull is a ton of utility. Just no. L2P.
  4. You obviously have not met any good Juggs then. 600k is a perfectly acceptable minimum for a 12 minute match.
  5. In short: the answer is YES. Think about it. We are talking about objective based PVP here. that REQUIRES people to group up. We are talking about a supposed mele class that can jump from 30m away and smash 5 heavy armored people with 1300 expertise for 6k. This is before they have any chance to react at all. And that's only one person. Think about if two smashers are working together. In one global cooldown you have just brought half the team into execute range. And we haven't even gone into the massively OP defensive cooldowns these mele have. You mention the burst of a PT, yet a PT doesn't hold a candle to what a smasher can do in a Voidstar or Novare coast where you HAVE to group up or you are losing your objective. Even without all of that logic, what would make you think it's ok for one class to be able to AE smash every 15 seconds for higher than other dps classes can do on a single target? Yes it's OP. Very very very OP. That you would even suggest that people are exaggerating the power of the smashes suggests that you do not understand the PVP world very well.
  6. OP you made me lol, and I agree with you about server xferrs. Btw on a side note. Is pvp any better on PVP servers as opposed to PVE servers? I really enjoy pvping, and believe myself to be a skilled player, but certain times of the day solo queing is really frustrating. On my original server (Krayt Dragon) most puggers were decent players. Now on The Shadowlands it seems like people either run with highly skilled 4-man premades or else they are 14k hp noobs who give up before the game even starts. When my friends are on and we group up we can be competitive with the premades, but when I'm solo queing it's not uncommon to lose 6 games in a row because of these terrible puggers.   7. /agree. If this is the standard that bioware thinks is balanced how about you make Death From Above instant and lower the cooldown to 15 seconds and then allow me to drop it on top of myself?

  9. My god, please get your facts straight. #1) Mercenaries never had a lot of utility... #2) No mercenary has ever crit for 7k on High Impact bolt/Rail Shot in PVP
  10. What is the DR on critical rating. Between 250-300?
  11. Doesn't the tooltip on FS say immunity to stuns?
  12. No. Just no. Mecanaries are good to have in raids, because they have clutch instant heals, but their dps does not stand out as much as people are saying. Sniper, Marauder, and Powertech put out better results. And I'm speaking as a mercenary that parses 1900 consistently on a dummy and 1700+ on most ops.
  13. What about sorc dps is underpowered? They don't have the greatest burst, but they really don't need it because they are so good at 1v1. Not to mention they are the only class that is able to kite effectively. I don't know if you noticed, but they have recently changed the channeled lightning/throwing pebbles ability. It now is channeled much faster and hits like a freaking truck. with the new self heal they are really one of the most survivable classes in PVP (second only to tankasins and Marauders). I really don't see any justification to increasing their dps at all.
