Lag occurs on bridge specifically (elsewhere as well..but definitely on bridge). Major frame drop into the single digits. i7 3950K intel chip 16 GB RAM NVIDIA 970GTX running on a SSD Windows 7 I run game with bloom, shadows, and convo depth OFF. I run all other settings at High and trees/grass at 50.

its not reduced. read the ability man. it raises your ranged DODGE by 50%. i.e. you have a 55% chance to completely DEFLECT the attack. deflects.. are 0.

They have a 12 second anti cc ability that at the same time, deflects (as in 0 damage) 55% of all sniper white damage. 5% base. Please - just stop it. The only way a sniper has a snowball's chance in hell against a good sin is A. sin has all dcd's on cooldown B. the battle is in an open farm field fresly mowed with no objects in a 10,000m radius. no, we should clearly balance the game around a perfect trinity 2 dps , 1 tank, 1 healer 4v4 arena deathmatch. you know - the format that less than 5% of the total swtor population plays. You can hate on solo que ranked and reg wz's all u want. but that is the majority of playerbase. If it doesnt have some semblance of balance the 5% that play ranked team won't have a server to log into.

Hendo, unfortunatey exi's comments are much closer to reality than the verbal diarrhea you have above. True - shroud is beaten by white damage. But in practice the sniper rarely gets to put up this hard hitting white damage before being completely destroyed. In addition to our poor survivability (sniper) which is necessary to actually dish out said white damage.. you have the very obvious telecast of our hardest hitting ability (ambush) which gives time to either A - LOS. B - pop a defensive What defensives? many - adrenal for dmg reduction, deflection which is a 55% (5% base) ranged dodge chance. You undersatnd that for 12 seconds, in addition to their immunity to cc's, they pop this ability and completely negate a good bit of sniper damage via the good ole MISS and DODGE. i.e. that 18K ambush not only didn't do 18K.. it didn't do 8K.. it did 0K and is now on cooldown. Oh yeah, in that time, the sniper is also getting gang raped by the melee tunnel and I'm sorry but your 20% bubble, diversion on yourself, evasion, shield probe, adrenal, health pot, and 1 roll each 10 seconds... only lasts you so long against a melee train. Penetrating blasts? lol why would anyone eat a full channel of it. so easy to avoid. So that really leaves us with an insta cast snipe every 6 seconds that we have to leave cover to get. If your answer to solving the SIN problem is "everyone needs to roll snipers" lmao, you truly must be a SIN fanboy not wanting to see his precious get nerfed. Bottom line - despite koozie's cherry picked clips (which we all know in solo ranked their are plenty of bad sins out there you can show highlight reels on) - against good players the sniper is unfortunately a liability in SOLO QUE RANKED. It needs tremendous team support and carry to do its job. Unfortunately, team support and carry isn't really the name of the game for solo que ranked. As for team ranked - sure a sniper is viable. just about anything in team ranked is viable because the healer and tank (team support) really make or break that format. But even in that format, regardless of how well the sniper does, I assure you the same skilled player playing the sniper or merc would be even more productive and efficient on one of the top tier classes (sorc/jugg/pt and the godmode SIN)

classes that need carry: Merc - Sniper (below the pole.. literally the basement without support) classes at the low end of the pole : Mara Classes in the mid range: Operative Classes in top tier: Sorc - Jugg - PT Classes in god mode: Sin Seriously, unless your a merc/sniper/mara solo queing ranked... just **** and L2P!

if you're having problems on an operative.. then you're doing it wrong. that class is very strong. learn to roll. use your hots... los.. and roll some more. that class can do alot.

You need to be slapped in the face for your stupid rankings. go play a sniper in ranked and tell me how in the world they are better than merc/mara. Even with BS, diversion on me, evasion up, shield probe up, and an adrenal, wiht a precast orbital strike on my face, i still get tunneled and can do nearly ZIPPO dmg before global time. Sniper is a joke class in ranked.. period. i'd rather have that four secs of cloak out on a mara anyday. TRUTH

Seriously guys! I'm glad everyone is a troll but come on. This isn't funny. I'm in ranked arenas against guys in the SAME GEAR as me... and they have 4k more health. And all you can do is make fun of me on here talking about pve rail space ships. Please - I just need want to alert everyone of this ... this is messed up. Why is this happening? Thank god it is only pre-season. Could you imagine if this was actual season going on, For anyone out there willing not to be a troll, if you have an answer for why this is happening, please let me know. For the rest of you b-holes laughing at me and talking about something not even related to pvp (last time I checked you don't pvp any of the space missions - they are all on rails), thanks alot. What is going on here? Just got done with a ranked arena and a sorc with the EXACT same gear and augments as myself (he was on my team) had nearly 4K more health and 100 more bonus damage. I have EVERY datacron.. so don't tell me that is what is causing the discrepancy. he was wearing full exhumed gear with willpower/endurance 186 augs.. SAME exact gear as me. I mean.. how can i compete with this stuff? WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!!! Please bioware.. tell me!
