First, don't jump into hardmodes. Good way to get vote-kicked and do nothing but rack up a repair bill. Run regular 50 FP's, as well as the dailies on Ilum, Belsavis, and Black Hole. If you run these dailies for about 2-3 days you will be mostly modded to start dabbling in the lvl 50 hm FP's and classic Ops. Rinse and repeat until you feel like hurling your monitor through a window. That's a simplified starting suggestion. 2-3 days of that, then try Sec X. But don't que for HM stuff of any level until you have decent gear for that type of content.

I think it would be neat to see basically anything from the futuristic-combat writings of David Drake. Anything that can encompass things like Hammer's Slammer's and The Tank Lords I think would be fantastic. Although I'm afraid that if it were based on those storylines, the game would have to be M rated due to gore and whatnot.... Also, something like an updated version of Robotech/Macross type stuff would be cool IMO.

This is definitely a difficult one.... so many choices! Book: Jagang from the Sword of Truth series. Quite ruthless and unforgiving, and he invades dreams. Movie: the ultimate villain?? Why, the Vacuum of space! Unbeatable more-or-less Video game: Sephiroth, no question there. A singularly focused bundle of walking genocide due to Mommy issues. T.V. Series: Joe Carroll of "The Following". Chilling, devious, and completely cold.

I really hope Star Citizen doesn't take too terribly long to come out. The media they released on it even a year ago looked amazing. Also looking forward to The Repopulation On topic: I stated earlier that I was buying a PS4 first, and an XBone later. However I will still build myself a new PC every 2-ish years like I do now for those games I've just got-to-have on PC..... Why not have all 3 platforms??

Exactly how many times do you need to post the word "elitist" ? You aren't actually making a point by using the label that has an impact on the general mass here. Not saying they don't exist, but most of what I have read here does not support this label.

1. The gear requirements are outlined in the mission log for that particular run, providing you picked up the daily/weekly/yearly (kidding with the yearly of course....) 2. The inspect function from targeting that friendly player. Adaptable is fine as long as it is modded appropriately. Artifact, Custom, whatever. Just have the right mods at the right level. Abusing the vote-kick is not okay but the fact is that, yes, it is a necessary tool.

PS4 already pre-ordered, Though I will buy the XBone later. I have no dedication to any particular medium when it comes to playing the games I enjoy.

Not sure why exiting area is even brought up as an option. Case in point was a FP I was in last night where we (me and 2 of my guildies) picked up a tank - a 55 VG - through GF. We are understanding peeps, we don't mind folks who are learning and are more than happy to accommodate providing the receiving player put forth the effort and be properly prepared. It's called due diligence people. It's also called being considerate of others' playtime. I don't put myself into others' FP's or Ops if I have one doubt of my ability. I also don't subscribe and play to make sure you don't suck 100% of the time. Now, this tank has moddable gear, *great!* but with CUNNING MODS on some of his gear. Plus we asked that certain mobs be pulled, or kill priority, all of which was ignored. Just face-pull after face-pull and the tank played more like a range DPS than a VG tank. I initiated a vote-kick, and we moved on to another tank from GF and rocked the crap out of the FP. Of course I got the whiny /whispers of "I was doing fine, you could have told me to, etc etc". So I explained that my main is a 55 VG Raid tank, and that he wasn't doing fine, and left it at that. Then I receive the inevitable "My alt is better than the toon you are playing". Um, yeah, good argument bro. Wanna kick dirt at my shoes too? Why should the 3 of us be penalized for the lack of dedication/skill/maturity of the 4th person? Simple mathematics and Darwinism. Least common denominator and survival of the smartest (I don't say fittest). Personally, i'd have to guess if you are offended by the vote-kick option, then you or those around you need to do your research and improve your and/or your friends' gameplay, or just learn not to be b-hurt over the fact that you are immersing yourself into the ruthless digital community.

Can you define excruciating? I run one SSD and average load time is about 10-12 sec depending on area I'm loading into. Corellia remains the worst at almost 25-30 sec (but not Black Hole). Personally 10-12 sec to load a planet isn't that big of a deal. If that were my load time after a "revive @ medcenter" selection, then I'd be totally peeved. I'm just runnin a non-raid setup with the SSD on my SATA 0 a standard HDD on my SATA 1 port. Also, just for comparison sake since you didn't include any specs or times: Core i7-2600K @ OC'd to 4.0Ghz EVGA GTX 670 FTW Graphics 16gb Mushkin DDR3 2133 Redline RAM (Underclocked to 1333 @ 9-9-9-24) Cant say as there are any actual tweaks, but you could try running SWTOR "Unleashed" per the thread here: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=529567 though I am not sure that would help at all. Not sure what else might help.
