Yeah when i have to pug for hm ops i dont take anyone if they do not have at least 15k hp... not bc i think they suck at dps but bc they are a liability to the raid. Without the hp you just cant take the hits and if you die then do you doing bad dps. If you do the dailies for just a few days and have 2-3 columi pieces you should get 15k+ hp. But if you are still wearing orange's with blue mods then i wouldnt want to take you to an hm ops. IF that is close to the gear you have you probably dont do as much dps as you think. The difference between having all the dps in full columi or more and having all the dps with 2-3 columi is massive. Example: Hm 8man EV. This past week i had to pug 2 dps who barely met my 15k hp req. and had 3-4 columi and rest purple daily mods and we consistently wiped to the first boss the Annihilation Droid at 5% to his enrage. As a healer with every attempt i began sacrificing my healz duty to put in more dps throughout the fight with no difference in the outcome and i called it. The next day we came back but without the 2 pugs but with 2 guildies in full columi with a couple rakata each and we beat him well before the enrage ( sorry i dont remember the exact number of seconds). This has been my experience as a raid/guild leader and running hm ops.

They may have already had a bh or 2 and didnt want another to compete with gear over. @ OP. I will disagree with you. We have the best burst healing in the game, imo. Sorc has the epic ae heal (though its still bugged) and the shield and ops have epic constant hots. Just using Healing scan > Rapid scan > emergency scan that is an easy ~7k (i assume one heal will crit) or more in 2 global cooldowns. and that is without the Kolto Missle healing received buff. What can sorcs and ops do in <3 seconds? Sorc has the hella long 2.5~(adjusted for alacrity) cast time heal that might crit for that much if geared and relics going and ops would have to have 2 stacks of there hot up and critting every tick and then using there 1.5 cast and to crit with that to come close to to 7k in under 3seconds. It means that someone/grp leader in your party does not have the mission for the flaspoint. IF they have already done the portion in "Call to Arms" they need to get the flashpoint mission from the dude right outside the zone in. WHen I encountered this it was not a flashpoint difficulty problem but a bad notification problem. When our grp leader and the lvl 50 dude in our grp got the mission from the guy right outside the zone in all was well.

No problem . I remember being "let down" by athiss and manda raiders. But then came the Boarding Party/Foundry series. If you played Kotor at all they will be that much more awesome! Goodluck!

Yeah those middle ones arent very story oriented. But dont judge them all till you've played them all. Over the past couple days Ive lvled from 30-40 and Cademimu, Boarding Party, Foundry, and Colicoid War Games ... ARE AWESOME and way better than the previous 3... imo. Trust me I was thinking the same thing after hammer, athiss, and manda raiders. You want a flashpoint with an awesome story to go with it. The Boarding Party-Foundry pair will be your favorite. Hmmmm. I could very well agree with you now. Useless ... no ... but is surge more useful... yes. I will need to get to 50 and use a lot of surge and alacrity gear to have a better opinion.

I enjoyed it, I play merc so this is a completely different play style then what I do in warzones hah. Also only critique is the end. BOOM end.

You are going to have to wait until Bioware allows 3rd party UI mods (if they do), or until they release more UI options and configurations. If I am understanding your inquiry correctly that is. But seeings as the game has only been "officially live" for a day I would just suggest patients when it comes to smaller conveniences like UI modification. The Dev. team has bigger fish to fry at the moment. Though I do very much want to be able to extensively modify my UI. Never played WoW but I liked the level of UI modification that was allowed in EQ2.
