  1. I fully understand resolve and still stand by the fact it isn`t working as it should. I get outright stunned with full white resolve, and while degrading all the time. If its working correctly, once my bar fills, I should no longer be able to be stunned(complete loss of control of character). So perhaps there is some bugs that you have yet to experience? Although, feel free to enlighten us to what situations are valid that have us at full resolve and still being stunned... I think the OP is amplifying it a bit. But his point of the frustration that comes with chain stunning, is quite legit for a lot of people. Bioware has created 2 divisions within the PVP community. The haves, and the have nots. The haves, have teammates to guard them, heal them, focus with them and have chain stuns worked out. The have nots, has the reverse of available variables, and is feeling quit frustrated. As long as the two play together, you will have a dramatic unbalanced situation, that will never be "fixed". There is always exceptions to the rule. So heads up for the smarty pants thats itching to say "watever u noob, i do just fine" I dont care if you think your great. Your a tiny stat, in a sea of stats. So its quite easy given ones own personal experience to come on here and troll someone thats frustrated.
  2. You clearly need to learn how to write things that are intelligent. I am sure the OP had no idea there was even a CC break, thanks for bettering his or her life.... And secondly, if you have figured out the resolve bar. Can I trouble you to pass that on to Bioware? Cause its seems they are in the dark too. The idea of how it works is good. But that does not translate into reality, more often then not. I cant say I have been stunned 20 seconds, but I know the resolve bar doesnt work the way they intended it too.
  3. I am interested to know how you stayed alive for 20 seconds in this zergfest Bioware calls PVP. I am finding many situations where my fully BM geared toon cant make it through a 4 second stun. If CoD had lightsabers, I would be there. I hear CC isnt outta control...
  4. It would sure be nice to see the people making the game connect to reality and actually answer questions that are the source of a lot of discontent right now. You guys have my 30 free days to pull your head out of your rectum and start acting like you know whats going on. Many other people are in the same boat as myself. Read your forums, see the discontent, and address peoples anger with communication. Its a great business plan, and consequently your shareholders and customers will like it. Can we have someone talk about time to kill that isnt misinformed like Georg? Can we have someone that talks daily about what they are doing to address MAJOR issues? PS: Great job on PVE 1.2. But you guys messed up PVP badly.
  5. LOL! People aren't as dumb as you think Mr. Smarty pants dev guy. This statement goes to show how disconnected you are with people. Perhaps you could make a tutorial to walk us slow folk through how to respec our characters? The more you Bioware people speak, the more and more I hate you. And here I was in other threads asking for communication, go figure.
  6. Well I'll be damned, Georg did the thing he should have done a week ago. He addressed his angry customers. Thanks Georg, now if you could just consistently do this, a ton of us "whiners" would shut up. Although most of what you say makes sense. I still think you guys are looking at too much numbers. And not spending enough time watching the numbers play out. You make it sound like you think the expertise between recruit and BM+ are whats causing a ton of issues. I hope you are exaggerating. Because if your not, it means you think how fast Battlemaster geared people are dying, is perfectly acceptable. Which it is not. No one should die as quick as they have been. I hope the debuff stacking angle is the real issue here. As that makes sense as to why it affects everyone. Regardless though, I am fully geared BM and this PVP you patched in was crap. Cally of duty does not charge a monthly fee for one shot kill pvp. So please differentiate yourself. And next time you have a patch on PTS, do everything opposite to how you did it. You know, things like allowing everyone to test it. And then when they give feedback, listen to it. And if you were listening. Let people know you were. And not just once, the first day they put up feedback. Little things like acknowledgment go a long way.....especially when your being paid, with our money. PS:Maybe my math is just really that bad, but with all the nerfs to healing. Did expertise really need to be adjusted to create a large disparity between healing bonus, and damage output/mitigation? I just dont get that. I know output and mitigation offset each other. But what about healing? And not a comparison against itself pre 1.2 to post 1.2. But instead, how it relates to the increase in other stats. Are you trying to effectively knock healing down another peg via that method?
  7. Thanks for your all knowing information. I didnt need a lesson in common sense. Thanks though. If variables like focus fire came into play here, I would mention them. But fair enough, I like to assume people are dumb as well. And that they didnt take into account the obvious. Sorry to disappoint:( So your denying time to kill has changed? If so, stop talking to me, right now.....
  8. I have FULL Battlemaster gear, every single slot. And prior to 1.2 I could live through a 4 second stun. I am now finding thats not the case post 1.2. I understand the gear disparity issue for players behind in gear. And how that can amplify peoples perceptions. But why am I dying considerably faster? Why is everyone dying faster? My little "pvp team" last night, which usually does quite well turned in to a ragefest. Not cause we were losing, cause we weren't. But because everything dies so damn quick. Far quicker then just last week. There is many instances(not pve instance) in which I tried to heal someone at 90% health with a 1.3 second heal, only to see them die before it lands. And I know the person I am healing, and they dont have crap gear. They are also full BM gear. We can argue equations all we want. But the jerk faces that have ability to address their community, have decided thats not in their best interest. And anyone denying time to kill has changed 1.2, in my opinion, should off themselves.
  9. PS:I have one day left, then none of you will have to hear me again! Unless Bioware pulls its head out of its rectum, and completely changes the way it treats its community. I spent 5 minutes on Tera forums this morning, and all I can say is wow. They actually talk to gamers, and actually look like they give a crap about what players want. If you dont believe, check it out. If Bioware had their attitude, they would have my $15 for the rest of time!
  10. I sure would be happy if Bioware treated the community like paying customers and actually took feedback on PTS and didnt just ignore it. Or if they addressed a game community thats in uproar about the TTK changes. When I have put in silly amounts of my time building my place up in this game, only to find the company acts like a bunch of fly by night crack heads, I am not happy. Maybe some people are subtracting away legitimacy from the valid issues here, by saying ridiculous things. But to me, its quite simple. When you plan to make broad sweeping changes that affect every class. You need to allow EVERYONE to test it(at their max level) You also need to listen to the people testing, and not just ignore all the hard work they did to do your work for you(Bioware). And then when your game community freaks out, you need to address it. Playing the silent treatment while people are ditching out like crazy it bad business, period. So yeah, will anyone playing this game with a brain in their ever be happy? Sure, soon as Bioware treats us like paying customers, and not stupid kids that need to be told how to have fun. Now before one of you monkeys says "but I like it" Thats great. If you take 5 seconds to look at the forums. Or just watch general chat in game for a bit and It should be obvious to anyone with common sense, that this patch has sparked a ton of drama. If you deny that, I dont like you. PS:Even though Bioware doesnt want to cater to PVP players, they need to ask themselves a simple question: We have their money now, do we want to keep it flowing?
  11. Ummm, I disagree. The point you say doesnt exist, was patched in just last week. On my BH(Sorc is a healer) I can literally use my elbow to own people now. Prior to 1.2 they might get a heal off and save themselves. Now I can hit the same 2 buttons over and over and still win. So....your wrong. I really should make a video of me using my elbow to pvp. Then will you guys will stop saying it takes more skill now? Or will you just say my elbow is overpowered?
  12. Have you considered picking up Call of Duty? You can one shot people in that. I personally like having to use skill to kill people. You know, interrupts, teamwork, crowd control. Its now a faceroll for unskilled players(and skilled players). Anyways, I will stop Hijacking this thread. And leave you guys to yak about math!
  13. There should be no argument about damage output, and mitigation from expertise cancelling each other out. They do, but thats a silly comparison. People are mad about time to kill. And it doesnt take a math wizard to stand in the corner and see the zergfest play out before their eyes. Balancing on sheet of paper does not always play out to how you want it too. Prior to the patch, bonus was the same to all three stats that expertise affects. Now, it is different. Are you math guys trying to say all three stats cancel each other out? I only see comparison between the raw numbers on damage output and mitigation. But how does healing play into this? Is there not a massive difference when compared? I seen someone say healing got an increase to 12% or some such thing. But I am at a loss as to how its increased when other stats have inflated to nearly double. This to me, logically creates a large disparity between healing and damage. Anyways, even if I am totally wrong with my bad math. I still stand by theory of standing in a corner. That kicks the crap out of any math you can provide me. Because I understand time, and how less of its needed to kill someone now.
  14. I would happily give up the ability to do a single point of damage in PVP, I don't spec healer to damage people. And I don't do damage for metals. I am a healer, my role is to heal people. I cannot fathom the mindset of a person that thinks a single person should be able to DPS a single healer down(while having an equivalent ratio of both skill and ability) in 1V1. I will never understand how people think this is balanced, ever. I played a DPS for years in several different games. And the way I think now, is the way I thought when I started. 1v1 I should only be able to kill a healer if I play better, or have better gear, or some such unbalancing factor thats under your control, or your opponents. I didn't quite understand why someone wouldn't want to kill. And then I realized they had a role to play to increase survivability. This in turn increases time to kill as a whole. Which allows for less "zerg" like playing. Quick kills, and multiple trips to respawn just seem like something ADD kids need to keep happy. If you like that, grab Call of Duty and a microphone. You can run around one shotting people, and you can run your mouth off the whole time!
  15. Actually, we can still do that. Your post shows how uninformed you are.
