  1. When I left, I had a few concerns that helped me ultimately separate from the game. I hope at least 1 of them has been addressed and fixed. Fake GCD spawned by hitting an ability just as it's coming off cooldown. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=450466 This problem ranks #1 for me. UI raid frames. Used by raid leaders, aware team members, and every healer. These things are a pain, and they were definitely made to look pretty, but certainly don't feel like they were made to be practical. I don't need to know at all times that everyone has class buffs on their raid frames, sharing slots with battle buffs I put on them (Hots, bubbles, etc,,,). God forbid we start throwing debuffs into the cluttered mess. The lag.... omg the lag... Dual spec is not, and never has been necessary, but to overlook this feature is to deny players a convenience that I think only adds to the quality of life for players who chose to be a part of this MMO.
  2. The way healing is designed right now, we are at the mercy of critical strikes. There are times that it can crit when you don't need it to, and get nothing but over-healing, and then there are times that you could be relying on overall crit bonuses to push your target's health up, but get a bad string. The change to alacrity allows a much steadier game play style for all healers. Overall power and heals per second are expected to go up even if you don't change your current build. I think that alacrity might become such an important stat to healers in general that we might start stacking Power + Alac enhancements. So long crit! You will not be missed!
  3. I think I see what you are saying OP. You want some reward for all the time you spend. The problem with your request is that you want the same rewards as the raiders of this game. Raiders get gear to enhance their character abilities so that they may raid more effectively. When they have maxed out all their gear slots, there is only the next mission, the more difficult content that has been practiced for over many wipes. There is a word for your kind OP, It's called "lollygagger". It does not mean you lack the potential to raid, nor the time, it just means you do not participate in the harder things, and fall behind in status, riches, and glory. When I pay my $15.00 a month, Bioware says: "Here's the game, do what you will with it". I feel at that point all content is open to me. Ask for things to be added, but not at the expense of raiders. If you don't like it, then go do pet battles in WoW.

  5. I dislike the naming of certain abilities, or maybe just the way they function due to the name. Operative healing: Diagnostic Scan. The name suggests all the scan is doing is figuring out what the ailments are. A better name for this might be "Nanite Scan". At least this implies something is being done to fix the injuries. Bounty hunter: Rapid scan is the slower of the two scans. I dislike how many scans there are in this game. I dislike that a scan is meant to detect problems in general, not fix them. Commando: Calling in probes other than just the Trauma probe is weak sauce. I have a D14 Tri-barrel blaster cannon that plays all my favorite music, pours my coffee, and melts faces all at the same time, but I need to use probes for the bigger heals. Bacta round > Advanced medical probe. Charged Kolto bolt > Medical probe. Bacta infusion can stay as is. These are things that bug me. These are things that in my opinion would do better changed.
  6. I'll agree that repair prices are no longer inconveniencing, they are straight up punishing. It means a few things for us players now. Don't suck. Leave random pug groups after the first wipe. Save your pennies for raid nights if you're in progression.
  7. The responses in this thread do not sound encouraging. Do you think it best I drop any hope for all requests made toward the Devs?
  8. -Bug fixes. There are still soooo many bugs left after a whole year of this game being up. -Server issues. Random disconnections are not fun. Albeit I don't get many myself, but they still happen occasionally. The disconnect experience become more frequent when you start noticing every time one of your friends has it happen. -Dual spec. Still overdue. Please keep in mind that field re-specialization was just a cheap gimmick to take the place of a true dual spec / interface system. I don't care if field respec stays, but dual + spec needs to be added badly. -Space missions. I've looked for a way to end a space mission early when the objectives have been completed. Since this option does not exist, I am requesting it here. -Make my favored class OP. Every patch request needs to have someone say this once, and I figured it should be me. (Combat medic). What things would you request from the next patch? Presumably the next patch may be the last one before the launch of the expansion, so there should be a lot of work going into it.
  9. Love your reply and enthusiasm Will
  10. LordRahik, Don't take this personally, it's just an observation. The last time I talked to a guild mate about this issue they said something similar to your words. I had a hunch they did not use key bindings, and I was correct. I'm not implying you don't use key bindings nor am I implying that it can't a simple and pleasant experience for you to use field respec. I am however asking you, do you use key bindings and do you find field respec pleasant? Please do not tell me if you think field respec is functional, the only answer can be an emotional one: Happy, sad, mad, excited etc... What I have against field respec is the fact that it was implemented quite clearly to me to "be the dual spec feature". I attack it without mercy with the same mindset of someone attacking an intruder in their home. Field respec is an intruder when I invited dual spec to come over and play with me. I don't mind if field respec is brought along to my house as dual spec's friend.
  11. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=487083 http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=544538 http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=491900 http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=86361 I see immediate positive support to dual spec, and a few ignorant posts. Those posts try to validate their reasoning that dual spec is not needed, and even counter intuitive. I am up against the eventual hostility from people like Storm, and other like him from the post mentioned above. If people like him understood what I was saying, he wouldn't be offended. I'm really happy he posted all the same, gave me something to laugh about for 3 mins. Maybe he is just trolling me.... I wonder how many laughs he got out of it?
  12. The concept of Dual speccing has been out for several years now. Swtor comes out with major updates frequently. This change has simply not been implemented yet out of choice by the developers. I don't know what they have against dual speccing in their game, but I doubt any reason they give will be acceptable in my opinion. I long for the day that I can change any of my healers into a damage setup for when I want to go farming for mats, do quests, or just kick back and make things explode. If you dare to mention field re-specialization, you are wrong and do not belong in this thread. Field re-specialization is a half baked attempt at dual spec. It still requires a lengthy complicated process that should be simple. It's not just putting in your talent points, it's also about having to set up your action bars correctly. A huge pain in the ***, so much so that I often wonder if it's just not more convenient to kill **** slowly in healer spec than to respec the current way (and then have to respec back to heals when done).
  13. There is no law prohibiting me to do so, and forum locks would be a great way to stop necroing. I wasn't even thinking about the dates as I hit the search button looking for other posts similar to my views. If old posts annoy you, being thrown in your face whether you like it or not, then come to know how I feel about red error text.
