I love Vector. I use him as my primary companion since I heal and he tears s*** up! I think he is full of whimsical conversation and his voice and his sincerity really draws me in. He is by far my favorite companion character in the game in my opinion and most def the best romance option for a female that I have come across. But, to each their own

My IA operatives name is Op'ivy Which is of course named after one of my favorite bands, Operation Ivy.

I skimmed the thread and didn't see anyone mention it.. sooo.. You can craft 5 items at a time. This doesn't go for gathering, only for crafting skills such as Armormech, Armstech, Artifice, Biochem, Cybertech and Synthweaving. They do not have to be 5 like items, just go down the list or however/whatever you want to craft and click the "Craft" tab at the bottom right of the crafting sceen. The companion will be sent out for the allotted time (ex: 1 min. per potion for Biochem) X's 5 = 5 min. This saves so much time of not having to stop every minute and send the companion out to craft the next item. This was a serious "Aha!" moment. Clear as mud? Hope it helps someone out.

I think Andronikos is a lovely romance option, though not quite my Inquisitors type. I think I'll skip that romance until I roll another inquisitor and make a more romance compatible toon for him. I am really digging my SW and the romance with Quinn. I love how he squirms a bit when I flirt and I love that I can flirt in almost any convo I have with him. lol I am going to romance the pants right off that one... but first I need to change his looks because the mole on his face is uggo.

Oh come on... I'm an RPer and the fact that she is his romance option is probably what seemed so crazy. Mortified was a strong word. I do play a toon that shoots people in the face... I just adore Vette and since I wasn't expecting it, it just seemed a bit shocking.

For the most part I have found these silly, but is anyone else disturbed by the Sith racial social ability Punish? Which allows the user to punish their companion for failures. I asked my boyfriend to show me the Sith racial social ability (because I don't foresee myself ever playing that race) and I was mortified when he slapped adorable Vette clear across her face

After laughing quite hard when my boyfriend did this... I did the exact same thing 2 days later! I mean, that was my karma but I agree that there should be a prompt confirming that you want to make the purchase. And/or have the option to sell back for close to the purchase price. And some of you need to keep in mind that this is the new player section of the forums... we are not lvl 50's making this mistake and realize that it could of been worse. But those worse transactions that you think will give us new players a real reason to b**** would be why you should be more supportive and agree that the prompt for the purchase would be ideal because of course the same mistake can be made on purchases of a million credits later in the game. We all work hard for our credits at every lvl and a silly mistake like this is a real downer.

I think that you should turn off your hints and go with your gut! I also started as a bitter, dark side slave who is growing and changing and has left me in the "dreaded" grey area. heh I don't take any **** so I still get some DS points, but my SI finds value in some of those people that could've been offed (ya never know if they will prove useful later) as well as having a soft spot for other slaves since she can relate.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I do believe there are 2 messages stating you can't use certain names; 1st is the "invalid name" message and the 2nd, I believe, says that another player is using the name. This to me means what Qelceda said above about lore names being the "invalid name" choice is do to lore or possible npcs in the game having that name or something similar. But, getting back to your question about the apostrophe, you can still use them in names as I've made an alt in the past week with an apostrophe in the name. I hope someone has a better answer for you though!

As the others said it is dependent on class quests, so naturally it may very from person to person based on what order you do them in. And, I have also found that the "answer" to this question depends on your class. Just do the class quests...
