  1. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Vibroblade Vibro-weapons are bladed weapons of varying types that use micro-vibrating blades to cause greater damage with less force on the user's part. As mentioned, depending on the time period they commonly are treated with a Cortosis weave, which is a Lightsaber resistant material. You guys are -all- correct concerning combat armors. There were even heavier armors in use as well that offered true resistance to higher-yield blasterfire, but obviously it's never really seen in the movies. Except arguably Boba Fett's. And I don't think he ever takes a blasterbolt on screen.
  2. Since the topic is being discussed I'm actually really surprised no one's linked Red Letter Media's Plinkett Reviews, http://redlettermedia.com/plinkett/star-wars/ Which I'd argue are the most well-explained breakdown of the failings of the prequel trilogy.
  3. In regards to Dual-Wielding forms in the Canon... Niman/Jar'Kai is a non-form, but rather a technique. It's a focus of learning to fight with the dual blades of the two cultural groups it was named for. Therefore a Dual-wielder could theoretically practice the technique and strategy of any given 'Saber form. All of this not to be confused with Form VI Niman, which is itself a hybrid form utilizing techniques from forms I-V.
  4. It's been previously mentioned, and if you check the PTR Notes it should be in with the next live patch! So hopefully this week!
