  1. I agree, but I would love to see something in game that reflects "marriage" between to characters. Like a title or something.
  2. I guess I'm really lucky, because I get to play this game and spend quality time with my boyfriend at the same time! But seriously, I'm a college student. Spent maybe 2-3 hours 3/times a week Mon-Fri, weekends a bit more. This summer, however, I was unable to find a job in the crap hole of a town I live in (no one here hires seasonal) so I've been playing way more than I probably should be. But that'll change in a couple of months.
  3. Hmm, really? I'll admit that I haven't got to Vector yet, and I'm probably not going to go anywhere near him, but her two early flirts didn't really bother me.
  4. I don't know if there is an official limit, but you can have more than 8 if you spread them to multiple servers. Right now, I have 9 characters on two servers.
  5. I've noticed that there are a fair amount of armors that change colors depending on your character's skin tone. I'm just wondering why this is, and if there will ever be an option to toggle this off in the future? Frankly, I prefer to have my Sith wearing a black and red top as opposed to a black and pink top. Pink just doesn't strike fear into the hearts of my enemies anymore.
  6. That does seem to be a fair solution. My Jedi Knight will be married to a field medic she met out on her adventures, who just so happens to act a lot like Doc. And most of the other stuff that has been incorporated into her backstory can be easily edited to cut the strings from canon. It just kinda feels unfair that we can get so swept up in the stories, which are mostly rather good, but then have to kinda leave them behind in the RP scene. Thanks for the advice!
  7. Let me start off this post by saying this is my first MMO. I’ve done RP-ing before, but it’s been through games like Dungeons and Dragons with original settings and original characters. So I’m rather confused when it comes to the etiquette of RP in the context of an MMO. My friend and I have been with the game since launch, and in that time, we have come up with some pretty detailed characters, with distinct personalities and voices, and rather complex relationships. But, now that we’ve joined an RP guild after transferring from a dying server, it seems like we’ve done some stuff wrong. Apparently, it is in bad taste to be incorporating elements from the class stories, or even the general stories at all. For example, my Knight is married to Doc, and he is the father of her children, two of my alts. But this kind of thing seems to be frowned upon, because not every person who’s played a Knight can canonically be the hero of the story. And I’m not asking for that. I’m not claiming that my character should be the hero that everyone adores. But I would like to incorporate some of the stuff. Like Doc. He is a perfect fit for my Knight. And to be honest, he’s the only companion character who has made it into my official headcanon as a major player. Though my Smuggler may romance Risha just to see the romance, it’s not going to be in character for him, because he’s in the middle of a very messy and complicated relationship with my Imperial Agent. So I guess my question after this TL;DR post is, is it okay to incorporate elements from the class stories into the official headcanon for your character?
  8. Play a Female Jedi Knight, you do get a real marriage scene. And it is awesome. And yes, the kissing emote sounds great!
  9. Sith Warrior quest on Balmorra. You're sent to eliminate the son of an Imperial Spy who could be a major security leak. The kid pleads for his life and says something like this: "Hey, now, the apple may have fallen from the tree, and maybe rolled pretty fall from the tree, but the apple is still, uh, I'm not sure where I was going with that..." With the delivery, it had me cracking up.
  10. Really, no Twi'leks? Cause I'd be a Twi'lek.
  11. Doc spends most of his time giving my Fem!Knight very in depth *ahem* physicals.
  12. YES! This idea keeps getting better and better.
  13. Actually, if they do, they'd probably give you the option to break it off with Iresso. "I'm sorry, sweetie, but you're boring. And dumb. You didn't know what a holo-cron was??!?!? So Imma gonna leave you. For him. You can stay on the ship though. Kay, thanks bye." (runs into Zenith's open arms) Oooh, I just got a good idea, what if they fight for you??? Oh Bioware, make this happen!
  14. YES YES YES. I want to romance Zenith so badly. He just fits my pragmatic but ultimately light side JC soooo much better than Iresso does.
  15. Eh, I guess since I have a leveling buddy, I've never had need for it. But I can see how it could be useful. You're right.
