  1. I have had this problem when tanking SC Using AOE taunt everytime during the casting of DD solved it for me.
  2. Ever thought they might not know. If I see someone in pve gear in pvp, even if it is full rakata, i tend to point out to them that they will probably have a lot more fun in recruit gear as expertise is king in pvp. They generally are happy for the advice. Maybe try to act like a reasonable human before getting angry with people.
  3. Yep I have it on my PVE main, and correct it is in the tanking tree so don't worry too much as he will be hitting you like a fly with his lightsaber
  4. Taunt Kite him for as long as you can, when you feel you are about to get squished have the other tank taunt him off you. repeat this untill he is dead
  5. I understand the idea of not being able to attack new player planets. But would be nice to be able to organise events to attack the enemys major citys/fleet
  6. I think there should be a 'time spend running from the respawn site medal' for healers as well. That way we will get at least one medal when playing against premades that mark us and our team mates leave us to die
  7. As a healer I fully support this post. number of tanks i play with in pugs who don't guard, or only guard at the begining.
  8. As a healer I don't like that idea, would just lead to a pre 1.2 situation where everyone is calling for a healer nerf again. Maybe a stackable debuff where by the dps is reduced by the number of people that are attacking you, but I still think that would be too much Maybe the healers defensive cool downs could have a talentable effect similar to that
  9. I think it is a game enjoyment issue rather than a balance issue. When healing is the dominant force in s WZ, it takes for ever to kills stuff, true and that isn't loads of fun. But healers have to put up with something no other class really has to, focus fire. When DPS is the dominant force in a warzone, and i am focus fired, unless I am in a healer heavy group, which no one really likes, I will spend a vast amount of time running from the spawn site. At least if it takes you ages to kill something you feel liek your playing the game, not so if you are corpse running. Guard makes a huge difference, but unless you run with a pocket tank is getting harder to get. The game maybe justs needs a minor tweek to make a healer a little more survivable or make it harder for them to be focused down, removing the marks on death for example.
  10. I played GW when if first came out I didn't like it, the idea of everyone being equal is nice, but inreality it just made everything seem pointless. There was no direction, no purpose. And Pvp just seemed to be one big AOE spam fest, where is the skill in that. doubt i will bother with GW2
  11. Well people can obviously recognise healers hence we get marked. The suggestion is that by removing the marks would mean it takes a little bit more organisation and attention from the other team. This would be preferable to being marked once then having to run back over and over with a big fat 'kill me' sign over my head.
  12. Generally if a tank puts a guard on me he will get my MVP vote. This is mainly because the act is becoming rarer and rarer
  13. Maybe It is just a suggestion, I am more than happy to hear others. Btw.. that the same Semper Ex Alliance side on Azjol Nerub?
  14. Yeah er, you don't see the other teams marks and they don't see ours. You can't actually see you are marked, you just know when everyone starts targeting you over and over
  15. Can you please mention this to the majority of tanks on my server since 1.2.
