  1. You're not trying to "give more flexibility to the player" you're nerfing the class. A nerf is a nerf, no matter how you justify it. As a DPS-only, melee class, Marauder should be doing the best DPS in the game, and these nerfs are stripping away the only reason you play Mara, which is purely to do damage. You can do literally nothing else with this class, so if specs like Lethality, Hatred, etc. can outparse Mara's, what's the point of playing Mara? Marauder's should have the best DPS spec in the game, it doesn't have to be all 3 specs, but at least one needs to be the best. Hatred is already outperforming Fury, and this will push Fury into the 3rd or 4th DPS spot, which is ridiculous. You've already nerfed Annihilation, a spec you used to hold in high esteem, down to basically mid-tier DPS, now you're doing the same with Fury, so Marauder will have no spec in the top 3 DPS, why are you devs so obsessed with making Marauder's useless since 7.0 dropped? You are basically crippling the only reason people play Mara, and once again, you're making a beloved spec basically useless by nerfing it below other classes that have no business doing better DPS. You did it to Lightning, now you're doing it to Fury. If Mara's are no longer than highest damaging class in the game, they need something else added, because there is nothing else Mara's bring to the table. Whatever "feedback" you're getting, it ain't coming from these forums.
  2. I think the three main issues I have with these changes are: 1. Annihilation heals are out of control as it is, a DPS should not be able to do nearly the raid wide healing it is capable of currently, and the changes do nothing to address this. Quite the opposite, adding a 50% healing buff to Draining Center just makes the healing from Annihilation even more out of control because now you'll be taking a 100K heal roughly every 10 seconds, umn... what??? Add into that, if you take Thirst for Rage, you have even more healing, I predict that some Anni Mara's will be close to 15K healing on some fights with large amounts of adds, that's nonsensical. 2. The DPS just cannot compare to Fury in any way, in any fight. On the PTS, I can do nearly 3K more DPS using Fury than Annihilation, as a dot spec, it should not be that much lower than a burst spec, and let's be honest, Fury is a burst spec. If you want to have a medium DPS/high heals class, say so, don't send mixed signals by justifying Annihilation DPS nerfs with nonsense about how it performs better than the other Mara classes. 3. Saying Annihilation has too much burst, but then putting half hearted attempts at making Force Fracture relevant make no sense to me. Force Fracture is the least used ability in the game, there is no rotation, no build, nothing you can do to make FF worth it, zero. So instead of putting your efforts into actually balancing the class, you spend time and money changing the way a useless ability works, so that it can continue to be useless. Please, please don't go forward with these changes, they are objectively bad for the class and will lead to a mass exodus of Annihilation players.
  3. I just got an the PTS and saw that the change to Force Rend was put through, and like we all said, it kills our DPS. Switching Draining Center to 2x damage is a solid 2K drop in DPS, what's the point of playing Annihilation anymore when I can do 3K better with Fury? Do you guys even listen to your player base? RIP Annihilation.

  5. That's being cash flow centered, not long term centered. Sure, saving yourself some money today by not un-doing some stupid changes might make sense today, but in the process if you continually piss people off by screwing their favorite specs, sooner or later people will just stop playing, then you as a game developer are eliminating your player base by not actually listening to their feedback.
  6. Please, please do not implement these changes. Nobody likes or wants these changes, long time Marauder players have already posted YouTube videos about how much they hate it. If you put these changes forth, Annihilation will be practically unplayable because of how clunky the rotation will be. The proper way to handle Anni is to give is a significant healing nerf, while giving it a slight DPS buff. Don't do the opposite and nerf the DPS while buffing the healing. Please don't kill my favorite spec.
  7. Please give Draining Center the 10 stacks of Fury back, taking that away kills the spec, please leave Annihilation alone.
  8. Please, please put the 10 Fury you gain back onto Draining Center, without that, you have to delay Berserk/Force Rend for 3-5 cd's and it just kills the flow and DPS of the spec.

  10. I hate these changes, can you imagine what is going to happen to Annihilation DPS if Force Rend only hits for 2x damage as intended, RIP Mara DPS
  11. In regards to the Annihilation changes, please, please do not go forward with these changes, if the intention is to make the rotation more simple, these changes would do the exact opposite. I just spent an hour in the PTS, and my DPS has dropped because of the lower amount of times Force Rend can be popped, which is a major part of the DPS Annihilation does, and that is with Force Rend still doing 4x initial damage as it is on live. If these changes are implemented, only hitting for twice damage on Force Rend will make Annihilation DPS plummet. Along with the nerfs to Carnage and Fury, Marauders will have their overall DPS significantly lessened , and if Marauder isn't doing good DPS, what is it good for? These change to Annihilation are a regression back to the days of 4.0 with it was clunky and uncomfortable to play, please keep it the way it is on live, it's the best it's been during the entirety of the game's history.
  12. It's no longer even in the top 5 in terms of DPS, and between it being melee, DOT based, and the complex rotation, it should be like #1 or #2.
  13. Just based off parsley information, Annihilation is 7th in terms of DPS, just in my opinion, that is way too low for arguably one of the most complex specs. As a melee DOT spec, with a challenging rotation, it should be closer to #1 or #2. Carnage and Fury are currently outperforming Annihilation, I don't understand why, with it being the hardest of the 3 and the only DOT spec. Also, Engineering is currently outparsing Annihilation, that seems ludicrous to me. These are just my opinions, please don't roast me.
  14. I know, I know, I clicked confirm, so it's my fault, but I don't have time to roll a second toon to have the combat style I want. I made a poor choice and desperately want to change my secondary combat style. Could you make it to where we can switch, or provide a one-time quest to change it please?
  15. I find the loadouts are still a little confusing, I played this morning and was trying to swap between Watchman and Hatred, and it worked fine. All my gear, utility points, and abilities were correct. Then I tried to create one for Concentration and even though I went through the same process, my Concentration loadout saved over the Watchman loadout, now I no longer have a Watchman loadout. Maybe that's just me not understanding the way to create new ones, but we should be able to delete loadouts, and we currently can't. Also, the abilities don't save to their correct spots some of the time, I have to reload loadouts several times in order to get the abilities in the right locations.
