  1. Worst luck all the way ! Max out your affection may help with critting.
  2. From what I gathered you can rip out the mods and RE it. You may lose the look if it fails but you can crank your mods back in to another shell and retain your bonus if not your look. Ror
  3. Snagged a purple expertise schematic in the first few hours of 1.2 off the AH. I don't PVP though so I can't get the crafting mats. How would I go about getting the PVP Box mats are they BoP? Ror
  4. So, Contrary to hopes and vaguely worded BW statements can I assume the following. 1) No new schematics were added for Synth/Armor that arent new BM (PVP) Gear and the new Tier 2 (PVE) Gear. 2) No Rakata/Columi/Tionese gear allows set bonuses to be transfferred. Only the Tier 2 PVE gear can. 3) The only Gloves/Bracers/Belts that can be RE'd are the new BM (PVP) and Tier 2 PVE sets. At which point they will provide you with a chance to sucessful RE to and earn a schematic which can then be crit crafted. RIGHT? Ror
  5. Light sabers were good the first couple days but its flooded now. I had a ton of mats and most schematics for all the orange gear. I critted out few "looks". Light armor - Jedi Initiate Robes and Pants with Consular Headgear. Critted versions are selling for 70K a pop. Medium - Is all ugly but aspiring knight pants/vest and blade master headgear is the same 70K a pop. That stuff is on the lvl 2 mats so its a ton of profit. I did a Brocart light armor lvl 47 "crit" set and sold each piece for 100K Same with the diatum heavy set which looks cool 100K each piece. My problem now is that all the non critted sets I just have to vendor. And I dried up the arch mats on the GTN. So now im at a standstill until I can get a batch of fresh mats to crit up. I get a crit 1 outta 5 usually. But ya I made around 3million creds so far and if I had more mats I could still be raking it in. Ror
  6. Light armor for sure would be the lvl 47 Brocart set. Heavy the 47 diatum set looks sweet. Medium is all kinda wack.... Aspiring Knight set ! Of note is that I currently sell all those sets but no one ever buys the top two.
  7. I have almost all the patterns and without add ons or spreadsheeting the most ive seen sell is the Aspiring Knight set for medium and Jedi Initiate for light. Inquisitor robes on the imp side. I'm just starting to collect level armormech and Rugged Smuggling seems to sell the most but I only have a few patterns. 20K per orange piece is my price. 40K for the lvl 47 to 50 ones. Its a trickle but I dont play my imp guy and he has close to 700K in ther bank as a level 10. After a month or so that is.
  8. Just re-read the write up. I bought moddable purple non-end game gear in hopes of RE'ing it. And it dosen't explicitly say you can do it. Only explicitly says "end game". Now my question: When they say Tier 2 are they saying columi gear or are they saying the new "campaign" gear? At the least you can get your new piece and rip out the mods and RE it without worrying that your losing your leet new stats cause those mods you can cram into a current orange set with an augment slot which makes it better stat wise. Kinda begs the question are people now going to be rolling on everything all the time just to RE it? Or is this just going to be badge (new end game) gear your RE'ing anyways.
  9. @Crop From what I took out of the dev write up is that orange can be RE'd but NOT for a schematic just mats. Only moddable purples have the chance? to grant a schematic. At least you will get mats back for those horded oranges. Also of note the orange recipes ala "Battlelord" & "Saber Marshall" (fingers crossed) can be obtained through running missions like our current setup for schematics, however no clear answer on if that will include anything besides chest helm and legs like we currently have.
  10. Thats sweet. Question are these "orange" recipes? If so you can crit craft them to end game status and post em up for sale. Although more rare current end game sabers have better skins and might fetch a higher price. I got the Purple saber from KUS with the blue gem hilt that would be sick to RE into a orange and try to crit craft. Although it would most likely require biometric alloy to craft and again be like the niman saber where the alloys are hard to get and the chances low of critting it.
  11. So I have been hording lots of purple gloves and belts with mods in it. As of 1.2 I can now RE these guys and get a orange schematic for them now correct? And what is the RE rate on these. Is it 100 percent? Some of these modded purples cost me a fair amount of creds since they were close to level 50. Step 1: Buy up Purple modded gloves belts whatever. Step 2: 1.2 Hits. Rip out the mods and RE the items them and hope for a orange schematic of these. Any confirmation on returns? Also the mods may now earn me a new schematic. Step 3: Craft a batch and hope one of these oranges "crits". Step 4: Be the first to put these crit crafted oranges on the market and make a killing! Step 5: RE the non crit oranges and get some mats back. As a side keep my alts running missions to get the orange schematics for other orange sets that can't be RE'd into a schematic and hope one of the new ones added is the Battlelord Set! Kinda disjointed as I am just gathering my thoughts but ya something like that correct? Ror
  12. Consular vestments are plain but a grey blue color. The lvl 47 Demicot set is unique and has blue as well. There is a thread with pictures of all the sets in here somewhere.
  13. I'm wondering whether I'll be dropping the 750 K on the current magenta recipes. Probably a waste but maybe it will pay off in the end when the crystal vendors vanish.
  14. ^^ Agreed. I buy bulk mats on the imp side shuffle them over to craft republic and sell whichever side has the highest paying niche. Thats why I'm not too stoked about cross faction mail. Although I could probably make more if I concentrated on the imp side I rolled Republic first and am sticking with it. Less drama, trolls, that sort of you mad bra stuff on republic (mind you that could be cause there is less people lol).
  15. I am stoked about this specifically since these are my toons. MAIN - ARTIFACE - ARCH - TH ALT - SYTH - SLICING - UT I figured my main could farm arch mats for both toons and its working okay. My dailies take an hour or so to grab whatever low level range of mats I want. Now I can gather mats and craft my augments for my same toon that will be crit craftiing gear! I figure my next two alts will be something like this as well. ALT3 - ARMORTECH - SCAV - UT ALT4 - CYBERTECH - SLICING - UT or Maybe TH just for some balance. GJ Bioware. Ror
