  1. As highlighted in red, makes money for compaines so they will keep doing it and people will keep buying. It's not dead, there just isnt one out yet that is as easy or dumbed down enough to match WoW. This isn't a kiddy wow btw, kiddys get what they want instantly, and most of them left to go back to wow in january.
  2. Yo mamma so dumb she kept saying "am not" to R2!!.... Dirge... This game is epic fail without LFG finder tool... I *heart* Rakgouls...
  3. or or..... tofu and boot polish flavoured lighsaber lolly pops... wait no that doesn't work... erm.. I think the main point is that this thread proved along time ago the following: 1) No /w = Rude to most people in most circumstances 2) No /w = ok to some people in some circumstance maybe this needs to stop now??
  4. I suppose it would be better defined as in the stone age where men just walked up to a girl and dragged her away. Your example involved talking to someone where as the whole point of this thread is the silent treatment
  5. It depends on what you define as adding to a discussion? For me it added a bit of comedy to smooth of the rough edges from the elitist few comments out there. Just made me laugh
  6. Some games have gone so far as to provide tool tips to ettiquette e.g my earlier post stated: "The only thing I miss from WoW is the "It's polite to speak to someone before inviting them to a group" tool tip on the loading screens.... the good ol' days eh?" As for the strangers remark, they are no longer strangers once they say hello so yeah your right.
  7. I play the game my way, if you don't talk to me first I'm not accepting.
  8. It's ok bud, MMO's would be pretty poor if we didn't all have strong opinions to have fun with.
  9. You were being so polite and the debate was quite nice but this is just steaming elitist midden. It's not about the credits or exp, it's all about the player interaction. It's the "hey mate, look at me I just took 2 seconds to say hi and would you like to spend a few mins completing these quests?" Even just giving the quest name and the word "group" works sometimes in a /w. It's crude but atleast he tried bless his cotton socks.
  10. This is what makes it worth while grouping with some one. It provides some interaction, socialisation and satisfaction. It also rules out afk's or people who you forgot where on your ignore list. Now thats win = win in my book. But hey thats just how I play my game.
  11. Ok opinion noted. Doesn't change the fact that it takes 10 seconds to do a /whisper rather than an hour of waiting for mobs to respawn/obtain quest items. Bottom line is you can say its a little thing all you want but your making it into a big thing by not being polite. I personally will not accept blind anything, trades, grouping etc etc.
  12. Why? Because he said this: "I typically invite when they're out of combat. But I'm not going to whisper them first when it's blatantly obvious why I'm sending out the invite. And I don't spam anything."
