  1. That's my plan if I don't get a reply here in the next few days. Being the weekend I expect to wait about 5 or 7 days (from post date).
  2. I'm still at a loss of what to do having both Aiding Efforts and Old wounds in my mission log.
  3. Bummer. Unfortunately this is not the thread you're looking for. That's over here: https://forums.swtor.com/topic/930242-not-same-game-version/#comment-9767663
  4. I have both Old Wounds and Aiding Efforts in my mission log. Both have been there for a week now. Still there after the update. What should I do?
  5. Thank you for the update. I'm going through it now with my Male Consular, and so far two voice lines are missing: "If there's any way we can help their search, let's do it." and later when talking to Akaavi he is missing the voice for "You made it back in one piece. I assume it went well with the suppliers?" And the shimmering holoprojector. It looks like the game doesn't know what to do with the shadows.
  6. I just had a similar issue. Mine only downloaded a few MB and gave me the mismatch in the character screen. When clicking "Ok" and the game closing, I tried again. The launcher didn't download anything when logging in, and (as expected) the game gave the same message when it loaded. I tried this several more times. About the fourth try the launcher downloaded several MB again. My intent was to run the repair and see if that would fix the mismatch. I decided to launch the game instead, and now it has no mismatch error.
  7. Yes. It's really bad when on a planet where the skybox is practically all white. It's not in one specific spot, facing one specific direction. It's the entire room, even if the room is a large one. And it's not like everything disappears until you move far enough or pan the camera far enough. It's a huge amount of rapid flashing. If anyone is an epileptic and encounters this, there's a good chance it'll cause a seizure.
  8. Update: The game is running on both PCs now. I started a game on Steam that installed some Direct X redistributables, and now SWTOR and other Steam games that require that are all running. Note: None of my SWTOR copies use Steam. They use the installer from the site or originate from the Disc installation.
  9. Well I too am having the issue of the launcher just sitting there doing nothing. On my primary PC, it updated and I can run the game fine (it's out of commission right now). I have a fresh install of Windows 10 on a different PC, and I downloaded the latest installer after having trouble with the launcher when using the installer from 2020. Well nothing is different. I input username, password, key, and it just sits there with the blue spinning circles. Same issue as with the 2020 installer. Both PCs have the latest Win 10. The difference between the two is that my primary PC's version originates from the old Disc installation.
  10. OH MY GOSH YES! I am so happy about this. I have been wanting this for so long. Next step: Hood toggle. Then: New game engine. UE5? *nudge* Huh? *nudge* HUH? C'mon. You know you want too!
  11. Sweet! Thanks again! Hopefully this will help anyone else who comes across this. An easily found confirmation of this.
  12. Female characters have facial hair complexion options. The design of these complexions don't fit and are clearly not designed for female characters. They just look terrible.
  13. Agreed. It's really ambitious to do with all of this at once. This will definitely make clear how much can be done all at once. How quickly they can recover and fix bugs is going to be very important.
