  1. Exactly. The Cartel Market has been a problem since day one. But the fact that consistent and new armor gets put into it, while recolors and rehashes are being put into the expansion is a NEW problem. A problem compounded by a new rep vendor and even more content locked behind paygates FROM SUBSCRIBERS. Next please.
  2. Only as long as people spend REAL money and then put them on the GTN. If Bioware wanted subscribers to have actual consistent access to these items, there are many solutions. One simple solution would have cartel packs as guaranteed drops (for subscribers only) on Operation/Flashpoint/World bosses. Or even have daily or weekly quests that reward cartel packs, again only available to subscribers.
  3. Explain to me how vanity items are not content. Specifically how new armor sets, mounts, and weapons are not content. And yep, I could probably get legendary rep with my monthly stipend, EVENTUALLY. Want to sit down and figure out exactly how long that will take? I'm betting if I follow that path I won't hit rep necessary to buy anything until well after this game is shutdown.
  4. Who said I was ok before? This new change is only making it worse and keeping even more content from subscibers.
  5. I don't post often, but I have played this game since day 1, bought the collectors edition, and have not missed a day of subscribing. This new change to forcing me to spend even MORE money to access all the content in the game is pushing me to the verge of unsubscribing. If you want to keep subscribers, don't keep content from them. Or better yet, don't do things that will make them feel like their subscription is useless?
  6. I have paid my monthly fee to this game every month since it launched. And, while still paying a monthly fee, I am now having content locked away behind paygates and lockboxes. This is not a smart thing to do. I was content to pay my monthly fee for as long as this game was online. This is slowly changing. If its changing for me, the BIGGEST Star Wars and Bioware fan and someone who LOVES this game, then you know there is a problem.
  7. I don't post much. Ever, really. But I started playing this game during the beta and have been subbed ever since. The trend of charging your SUBSCRIBERS for content is getting out of hand. The Cartel Packs were a little over the line, imo, but I was initially fine with it. Then the Life Day pack came out and it fully crossed the line. 2000 coins is much more than any subscriber should have to pay to get content for a game they are already paying for. Since when is it ok to paygate stuff from SUBSCRIBERS? You are already getting our money on a monthly basis, why are you nickel and dime-ing us?
