  1. Horrible to say it but the fact that the busiest servers on the game have around 100 people in their only major city at peak times on peak days is the proof that it's dying.
  2. Why would Diablo 3 stop people playing SWTOR? Honestly, i'm baffled by the ****dummery of this question. I play MW3, SWTOR, The Witcher 2 when I feel like playing each one.... why would Diablo 3 change anything, it looks like ****.
  3. Actually, if you want simple economic theory then you would say given a set of competing priorities and scarce resources you are probably investing in a weak and dying market so look for something more niche and use your money and resources for something they are more suited for.
  4. No.... no they didn't. They said it was going to be the best MMO of all time with the biggest sign ups and that you would be getting an experience unlike any other in a Star Wars environment. At no point did they say "you see the gear customisation, fluid gameplay, solid style and looks you're getting in the beta? Well we're not going to give you any of that on release, we're not going to fix any of the major issues with any of the patches, and we will give up on you the moment it starts... like an abortion."
  5. Servers mergers are extremely rarely done by actually merging the servers, they usually call it "server migration" as they just get everyone from one server to reroll on another one for free whilst having to choose a name again. 99% of the time the busier server gets to keep their names as that's the one being migrated onto.
  6. Irony, she is a cruel mistress. When you accuse someone of accusing other people of things without using facts, there's something you should use to make your point otherwise you become what is called a hypocrite. Everyone here is agreeing with me, and it's true you can see it by going back on a medium population server in WoW like Stormrage EU, which has thousands on at non-peak times. This game has, sadly, become purgatory whilst people wait for either GW2, WoWPanda, or for another MMO to rise. Only difference between this and purgatory is that there are people in purgatory. Come on guy, you have to admit that 100 people on the major... actually the ONLY major city/environment of an MMO at peak times is horrifically weak. I ask only 1 question of you and that is all... is 100 people on the imperial or republic fleet on some of the busiest EU servers, like Legions of Lettow, a "busy" MMO?
  7. So don't worry, this easily patchable problem will be fixed in their major update and patch in which they add new content.... could be done on Tuesday... hmmmmnope.
  8. Ah yes... I see your point.... Their MMO which was meant to be this moneymaking, groundbreaking and longtime market topper is so bad that literally the next game they bring out overshadows it.
  9. Legions of Lettow, there's almost never more than 90 people on the Republic fleet on any night. So what if you can PvP when you want that doesn't make it busy. If you raid most nights and you say you're pugging you're lying through your teeth. If you're doing it with a guild then you're in one of the only remaining guilds who are doing it before 1.2. To be honest you're just lying.
  10. Oh I don't know about that. This game is a prime example of why they are getting awards like this. Horrible release, horrific updates doing nothing, lazy customer service and a truly idiotic moderator base, tiny mindedness when it comes to scope of how to grow the game and keep people interested. They're a gaming company, they get judged on their games for these awards, this is their prime game at the moment.
  11. The game seems pretty dead when I log in now, I haven't been on in over a week and neither have any of the 50+ people in the guild, and we're on one of the busier EU servers. Frightening how fast it died and how horribly the BW update and patching capability is of the most simple things that could improve game-play. I was a gigantic SWTOR advocate and defender at first but everyone I know who plays is bored to hell with this game and is just waiting till 1.2 to see if there's any improvement whatsoever before jumping ship to GW2 or another MMO as soon as. Sad really because I love the possibilities of this game, truly endless, but horrifically executed.
  12. I've never been stunlocked to full HP to dead in a 1 on 1 fight.... what are you doing? If theres 6 sorcerers around you then you should be killed before the second stun finishes after you have broken the first.
  13. I am always really happy to see a couple of Guardians/Vanguards/Shadow tanks on my team because they can be absolutely pivotal to the game. Especially in huttball, but really pivotal in the other game types too. Knowing how to use your class is what makes it worth playing or not, if you're finding yourself getting hammered in every game you play maybe your just not very good yet.
  14. Scoundrels/Imperial Agents/Marauders/Sentinels can quite easily kick the everliving crap out of healers. I have a friend who is a shadow and all he does is targets the best healer in the group, gets behind them in stealth, "saps" them (come on it is), then when they break it stuns them and slaps the hell out of them. Healers are easy to kill if you know what you're doing, and that's the point... it should be hard to kill well geared good players, and certain classes should have a hard time against specific other classes and be better against others.
