  5. WZ: Attack the opposing fleet More formalized version of what people do on open world. You infiltrate a dock and then try to invade and capture objs on opposing fleet. Reward players with something like turn in your pvp dailies/weekly at the opposing factions drop box rewards 2x comms. Put a limiter on fleet for groups no larger than 4 to be able to participate kind of like the Ilum capture the hill, and have it be an opt in thing, red if aggressed.
  6. My vote would be to scrap ranked altogether and make the entire PVP system ELO based. If you want some extra "ranked" comms, dish them out as rewards for a team that beats out a higher team ranked. Apply this to all wz types. Waiting in a queue is stupid, there shouldn't be segmentation. If they did do the same team different factions thing it should feed into the Dark/Light alignment system - killing same faction gives darkside status gain or something. Sk
  7. Also a regstar here - pugging them is awful. One death sucks, heavy armor classes are imbalanced, have to stick with group so kiting works against you. Need to be 8v8 or timed with kill counter imo.
  8. Since they are counting classes/specs and matchmaking accordingly - only allow for a matched number of stealthers on each team. Shouldn't be terribly difficult to implement.
  9. Really though. I came here to find something useful and instead I see all this QQ. If this game were mine to develop here is what I would do to fix PVP. 1. Remove the Forums and start playing the game 2. Remove the ability to leave warzones (alot of people enter them just to gear check Bolstered stats anyhow) 3. Make PVE gear have better stats but take damage in WZ 4. End of WZ winning team gets to roll for drops that get taken from losing team 5. In game spectator mode and gambling 6. Player generated bounties Class balance, premades, OP abilities if you don't like what you play then make another character and play that one. The devs should focus on bugs and developing new content and thats it. Skylene

Would like to have damage types as a stat Kinetic Energy Internal Elemental Each class would have a "natural" damage type as they do now - i.e. kinetic / internal for Consular, and these stats would be weighted at a higher value for the primary stat. Defensive mods would also work this way also kinetic, energy, internal, elemental resist would enable you to counter attacks accordingly. This would add some granularity and strategy to PVP gearing (especially for Ranked teams) as each team would have to make decisions as to how to balance their attack and defense types vs expected opponents. These mods would also add additional crafting options that are better differentiated (what is the difference between all those 50 different enhancements that can be crafted anyhow?) Skylene
  12. Open world PVP kills reward the killer with the loot that was in the victims bags if it is not bound. This will accomplish multiple things: Encouraging open world PVP Getting PVP players out to planets to do PVE content while they are there Getting PVE players into WZ so they can get expertise gear to not get smashed Filling the PVP credit gap via selling drops Encouraging people to run in groups Quicker disposal of all the garbage drops Add an objective to republic/imperial camps that can be captured and held and give comms as a reward The bolster system can be used in these bases to level the playing field for these objectives Ops group size can be controlled in these areas like it was for Gree Event Add a "Republic" or "Imperial" chat so that players can quickly request backup from planets that are under attack Add some open world Daily/Weekly Objectives Gather 20 Imperial ID tags (kill player, get a tag) Control a base for 15 minutes Skylene <Swollen Members>

  14. There, I said it. <Swollen Members> is looking for a (couple) top-notch guardian/shadow tank(s) to join us and fill out our rated team for 2.0. Requirements are good battleground awareness, average wz stats totals of 250-500k, mumble (with a working mic), and high activity level in game. Must be good at taunting mobs of smash monkeys and able to survive solo against the Elite Warlords. Bonus points for fully geared/optimized players with multiple classes. Extra bonus points if you have a name like "Sherman" or "Frank-the" or "Gas". We are a laid back crew but are hardcore pvp so you'll fit in best if you are the same.
